Located in the heart of downtown Bethlehem, Edge delivers a wonderful dining experience in a casual upscale atmosphere. Chef Timothy Widrick uses French and Asian influences in his classic to modern cuisine. Enjoy a fantastic wine selection designed to please every palate, or perhaps a perfectly crafted cocktail.
"We normally tend to pass on going out on mother's day (crowds, mediocre food), but when we heard Edge was having a brunch we had to check it out. The food and service was great. The food, ranging from eggs benedict to sirloin tips and salmon in creamy dill sauce were great. I hope Edge does brunch again because I will be 1st in line to make a reservation."

"Edge used to be my favorite restaurant. I did not frequent it often but saved it for special occasions and always looked forward to it. This will probably have been my last visit. The table was so close to the one next to it that the waitress had to take our order from behind my boyfriend's seat. We were literally sitting in a corner, like they ran out of room and had to cram us in. The two things I had asked about when making the reservation earlier that day were both now unavailable, which is understandable but I was still very let down as those were really the ONLY things I wanted, so everything else felt like settling. Bread was very late, food was alright but not memorable, and service was good but not above average."

"Enjoyable dinner while visiting Bethlehem. Interesting menu. Appetizer of tarragon gnocci with duck was generous, but served only at warm temperature leading to blandness. Crabcakes were large, too bready for this price range, but surrounded by a delicious slaw and scalloped potato cake. Being served a single average bread roll was not impressive, to say the least.Never saw the bread basket again. Wine list quite expensive. IPA ales were quite good. All said, the chef was more innovative on the menu than the end results revealed. Sometimes the best efforts out in the hinterlands just doesn't match up to the big brother in the city, and shouldn't try."

"Always my go to birthday and special occasion spot. The kitchen always adds a special touch for special events. My dessert came out with a birthday candle and the plate designed with chocolate. :)
Dress nice, order a fantastic martini and enjoy dinner."

"Enjoyed this restaurant, food is good and can find a great wine choice. Must say the room with the bar and TV is a nice option for cocktails, but prefer the other room for better dining ambiance."

"Food was not bad but was disappointing. Crab cakes were somewhat fishy and the short rib was overwhelmed by the strange blue cheese puffs that surrounded it. Crime brûlée was good but not exceptional. Edge is a trendy place. I'd go there for the ambience but not for the food."

"In a single word -- amazing! Simply put, no other restaurant in the Lehigh Valley even compares. The food was outstanding. The service was great. The music was just perfect. The general manager, Jesse, is really nice. He is always greeting us with a warmest welcome. We even got to thank the chef personally, for his amazing culinary work."

"My boyfriend and I dined at Edge for Valentine's weekend and enjoyed it. The food was delicious, I had the potato and leek tart and the brie stuffed chicken and my boyfriend had the spicy tuna tartar and the filet mignon. Everything was excellent. However, the service wasn't great for this type of a restaurant. I would expect top-notch service for the price and decor of Edge. The hostess was unprofessional and forgot about us even though we had a reservation. Luckily we heard her walking around "looking for a party of 2" which was supposed to be us so we were seated thereafter. Our waiter was nice but at the end of the meal he took far too long to ask us for our dessert choices (we weren't having any) and then to give us our check."

"Edge was hopping last Saturday night! Great atmosphere and people watching! However, we were slightly disappointed with our service. We asked the server to split a salad we were sharing, but they wouldn't do it. This is not what I would expect from a fine dining experience. Otherwise, the food was uniformly delicious!"

"Excellent service. Went with a group from work. They were happy to split the check any way we wanted to meet our expense account needs. Very pleasant atmosphere. Nice architectural touched. Very polite and professional staff. Would go back any time."

"For this market, the wine list is insultingly over-priced to include some $40+ cheap California wines that are on sale in numerous grocery stores for four or more times less. When the owners wise-up, I will be back. Besides that, the food is really good. I would rather avoid having to take out a second mortgage to pay for it."

"Yet another great meal. Tuna tartare was fantastic and had this little crispy pita style chips that were Perfect for piling on the tuna. I also ordered the triple truffle house burger and it was excellent, probably the best burger in the valley. The chef added a new pasta appetizer based on short ribs and it to was delicious."

"We dined later on a Monday night, a very cold winter night, so the restaurant was not very full. Therefore, it was quiet, But there was no way to tell if it is always that quiet. I enjoyed the chicken breast with brie, and while my husband did enjoy the chicken with curry, he said it was different and would probably not order it again. The staff was courteous and attentive and very friendly. Since we were there to celebrate my birthday, they surprised me with a delicious lava cake with ice cream on a beautifully decorated plate. Although this restaurant is less than 2 miles from my home, I had never gone there because I assumed it was too expensive. Our meal including drinks , appetizer and dessert came to $100, which we felt was reasonable"
