Or enjoy a roaring cozy fireplace, perfect for an apertif or after dinner conversation.
"As always our visit to Jory was exellent, look forward to our next visit. We are planning on staying there for a few days some time. One small peeve, $28.00 for two glasses of Argyle champagne is to much I feel."

Review 2 for JORY Restaurant at The Allison Inn & Spa
"Very nice atmosphere. Food was delicious. We had brunch dishes. My poached eggs were perfect, my husbands were hard. They did correct this but food was cold waiting for new eggs. I was also served the wrong Bellini. But we did enjoy the restaurant, never felt hurried and the weather was perfect."

Review 5 for JORY Restaurant at The Allison Inn & Spa
"The Jory Restaurant at the Allison Spa is a NW gem. We enjoyed a relaxing dinner with impeccable service, delious food and a great deal of attention to the fine details. I even was raving about the level of service the next day. I hope to come back soon, while the weather is still warm and dine outside. Thanks for making our dinner an occasion to remember."

Review 6 for JORY Restaurant at The Allison Inn & Spa
"Our trip to Wine Country in Oregon was short so we tried to hit all the top recommended restaurants (Jory, Tina's, Joel Palmer House, and The Painted Lady). All were great, however Jory was our favorite. We enjoyed the diversity of the menu. The appetizers were outstanding. The halibut was amazing. My husband had ravioli. It was the best ever. Dessert was delicious.
We greatly appreciated the service and the ability of the staff to accommodate our change in flights and therefore our change in reservation. They seated us at 9:10 which was after their last seating (at 9:00). Complimentary valet parking was unexpected but so nice. It was the perfect way to top off a busy and hectic travel day."

Review 11 for JORY Restaurant at The Allison Inn & Spa
"Wonderful service, lovely atmosphere in the heart of wine country, and many delicious food choices. Most times I have been utterly enchanted by The Jory, but on this occasion the menu was full of over-sauced, over ground items and lacking in meat choices. The only poultry or lamb choice came in sausage form with gnocchi and a ragout. The lamb ragout had some savory moments, but it was very oily on the plate and highly acidic. Still, if you want to splurge, you can't beat the ambience and the chance of a few delicious moments. Desserts are splendid, done right, and the overall portions are perfect."

Review 12 for JORY Restaurant at The Allison Inn & Spa
"Disappointing paella. Delicate flavor of saffron, if it was used, masked by too much chili powder. Seafood was of minimal quality. Rice had a consistency somewhere between risotto and regular rice, not in a good way. Wish I had skipped sorbet dessert. Enjoyed the salad. The wine flight of Spanish, French, and local wines would have nicely matched a decent paella. Puzzled by the use of homemade chorizo for the paella, which in no way matched the flavor of real Spanish chorizo. First and probably only visit for me to this restaurant."

Review 13 for JORY Restaurant at The Allison Inn & Spa
"AMAZING! So amazing we couldn't stop eating and left painfully full. First of all we try Truffle Fries everywhere we go, and hands down these were the best and most amazing! We also had a flat bread with some BBQ Pork, deliscious! We should have stopped there. I had the bouillabaisse. I was a little scared when I saw this giant bowl arrive after I mowed down all the fries and flatbread, but it was SO good and nice and light. The Mr. had the wood-fired wagyu strip loin, it was fabulous but a lot! This is not one of those high end places where you get a tiny portion by any means. The desserts were fabulous as well."

"We have been to Jory twice, each time to celebrate a birthday. The service is impeccable and the food is amazing! The menu changes are dependent upon what is local and fresh. We will definitely return!"

Review 16 for JORY Restaurant at The Allison Inn & Spa
"We parked in the front lot and were immediately advised to allow the 6 attendants on hand to move the car to the lower lot to avoid "overcrowding". No one was there, so that seemed odd. Once inside we were given the choice of sitting at the bar "to watch the fun" of the chefs cooking, which was something we came here distinctly to avoid, so we opted for a table. A very tiny table it was, and I got to have my back to the view and enjoy being crammed next to another table. We were advised to try the sampler for lunch, which featured old mutton flavored meat sandwich, mutton flavored soup, and tasteless salad from the same bag I buy at the grocery story, except for the whiff of mutton flavored dressing. We could not eat it. Neither of us"

Review 19 for JORY Restaurant at The Allison Inn & Spa
"The food is so well executed that this place could do well on that alone. But, they also deliver the best service in the State of Oregon. (Maybe Washington, too.) Then, there is the beautiful restaurant and views. This is the complete package for when you want the very best. Yes, it is a bit on the expensive side. But, I've paid as much (or more) and got far less elsewhere. This is a true gem."

Review 20 for JORY Restaurant at The Allison Inn & Spa
"It is nice, once in awhile, to be treated like royalty by people who genuinely seem to enjoy providing such service. And to have that combined with the magnificent dishes created from the freshest Oregon ingredients in a setting that is at once both casual and elegant, is a rare experience. We SO enjoyed our dinner and brunch at Jory and would highly recommend it."

"Our third night at Jory, we had tried nearly all the vegetarian options, which were all delicious, and it was suggested that the chef may enjoy creating an additional option for us. The chef was very creative and talented. I look forward to dining there again and wish we lived closer."

Review 26 for JORY Restaurant at The Allison Inn & Spa
"Our group of 5 dined at the Jory 1.31.13 for my husband's birthday. This was a return visit and we are never disappointed! We had celery root soup, citrus salad, beef tartare appetisers and all were superb - visually and flavor. Entrees included steak, steelehead and gnocchi with crab. A great variety. French press coffee and dark chocolate dessert topped off the meal. We shared most even just to taste. Our waitstaff was especially attentive to our almost 90 year old matriarch! Very much appreciated/"
