La Dolce Vita opened its' doors in Beverly Hills in 1966. The biggest celebrities in the world lived only moments away, and La Dolce Vita literally became their second home for decades to come. Regulars included the Sinatras, the Reagans, the Pecks, the Douglases, and the Bloomingdales. It hosted every sitting US President since the Kennedy administration, and was known as a haven for titans of industry and finance. Deals were made with a handshake, and everyone was certain to arrive on Thursdays for Osso Bucco. Now, La Dolce Vita moves to the future, following a seven month 'facelift,' during which the restaurant was restored to its' original pristine condition, reprieving the original menu, recipes, and decor. La Dolce Vita arrives once again as a popular dining and entertainment destination, now home to young Hollywood and those seeking the traditional cuisine of Italy. Once again a Los Angeles classic, with regulars arriving on Thursdays for the infamous Osso Bucco.
"The food service and ambiance are outstanding. One can actually have a conversation and the people you are with can hear out. I rate La Dolce Vita outstanding."

"The entire staff, and I mean the bartenders and wait people were fun with my group of 5. My (grown) daughter's had a great time and were impressed. Trust me, they're hard to impress! My now 2nd favorite place to have dinner! A place to re-visit. Only 15 tables so you better make reservations. Only negative...my plate came out a bit on the not hot side of temperature, other than that, it was very good!"

"Service is outstanding. For example, when asked what Lillet (an ingredient in my cocktail) was, the waiter brought a small glass of it to try, along with his explanation. Food was very good. Restaurant was not too busy so it was quiet and romantic. We really enjoyed our dinner."

"La Dolce Vita, I first found this when I moved to LA in 1971...It was wonderful then and it hasn't failed to deliver a very first class outstanding meal and service."

"Our dinner date at La Dolce Vita was a delightful culinary and sensual experience. The food was delicious, the waiters charming, especially the head waiter Rosario. The surroundings were evocative of old Hollywood (dim light and romance). My husband had the Frank Sinatra steak, and I had the Cannelloni Di Vitello with Caesar salad. We also were treated to a complimentary surprise dessert, Tiramisu -- something to die for. This topped off a very, very enjoyable evening and we look forward to returning to this restaurant on future trips to California."
