"For a steak restaurant , the steaks were average and extremely overpriced. My 12oz was supposed to be medium rare and it was medium. My friend was supposed to be medium but it was medium rare so had to send it back to cool more. Unfortunately my steak couldn't be sent back and I didn't feel like waiting for a new one because our server was sweet but very bad. I felt very unsatisfied enough to warn other people not to go there."

"We always go to the Keg when we were are want a good steak. You can never go wrong with a classic meal. I've been to this restaurant and have never had a compliant. This was the first time there was ever a problem with our meals. Unfortunately, our steaks were a under cooked. Our server was quick to fix the problem and make sure everything was good. I will return, and continue to recommend the restaurant because even when things go wrong at the Keg, they do everything it takes to make it right it again."

"Service was ok but more knowledge of menu is needed. Food a fillet mignonette came out under temperature as it must have been at the pass for a while. Caesar salad swimming in dressing. Meat fillet had a gristle in it. Plate placement of elements was very good but the plate it was on was cold. No beer menu in wine list."

"Service was very slow even thigh the restaurant wasn't to capacity.
2 of the 6 meals were very poorly prepared.
One meal ordered was a rare filet that came out as medium the meal was sent back and the server returned with the same steak stating that the cook said it was rare. Basically not listening to the customer. Another steak that was ordered was the baseball steak and instead a rib eye was delivered. A side if mushrooms were ordered and they arrived at the end in a gravy boat!
On average we eat at the Keg about 10 times per year with a bill of approximately $400.00.
We thoroughly enjoy all aspects of the Keg when we visit the Aurora and Newmarket locations that us the reason we booked the Whistler location on our holiday."
