"We took a co-worker to lunch for her Birthday. We arrived, were seated, given menus and IGNORED for 15 minutes. I eventually had to go to the front of the restaurant to ask about our server. The restaurant was not busy-only 4-6 tables were filled. Once the wait person finally came to take our order, the food arrived in an appropriate time frame. The food is always well-prepared and delicious; however, the service is consistently slow. It is difficult to get service, have your beverage re-filled and to get your check. Consistently, the wait staff are slow and non-attentive.
I have been dining at Kincaids for lunch for over 5 years and really don't know why I continue to return, as there are many more choices available in our area now."

"We had a 5:30 reservation. We spent 10 minutes on ice water, finally the wine and drinks showed up. It was another 15 minutes and the wonderful appetizers came. The appetizer special was perfect. Don’t pass this one up. Well, it was another 20 minutes before more wine came. OK, we get it, the bar was slow. It was 7:20 when our entrées came and they were wrong, we sent them back to the kitchen. My Halibut cheeks came, but, they rushed the order so it had a burnt flavor and there was no sauce. The Stuffed Sole was cold on the outside, hot on the inside, how does that happen? It was 8PM and the key lime pie and chocolate cake saved the night."

"We'd been to Kincaid's a couple of times before and had really good food, but the service had been spotty. Having not been in a while we decided to give it a try again and we're both very glad we did! We were greeted and seated promptly, with our reservation acknowledged... and our server and team of runners were attentive right up through paying our bill. The food was outstanding and the attention we received matched it! We had a wonderful pre-show dinner experience!"

"Basically the service was very good and the food that was cooked was great. We both ordered salmon and it was very good. The rice was very god ; but the broccolini was basically raw and since the waiter did not come to the table after the food was served, he had no idea that we were looking for him. It was the Saturday rush and all of the tables was really full. I find some fault with the waiter and after I complained he gave us a coupon for appetizers at a futureb date.
My complaint is with the kitchen putting out food that was barely cooked and how many other people had the same issue and did not complain at all. We have been to Kincaid's before and we will go back again."

"We have dined numerous times at Kincaid's and this was not a good experience. The food was fine but our service was not. We had several long waits, first for appetizers (40 minutes after we ordered), tea and mug after the hot water was delivered (10 minutes) and dessert menus after the coffee and birthday dessert had already been served - and then a delay receiving the dessert order as well. Our server just did not seem to be able to handle the number of tables he was serving. This is just not acceptable for a restaurant in this price range and we may be looking for a new spot downtown."

"We love Kincaids. We live in the West Valley so we just go there for special occasions as it is a long drive that frequently involves lots of traffic at dinner time.

"We were sitted promptly at our table. It took a good 5-7 minutes before the server stopped by with water and to take our drink orders. Once we ordered our dinner entrees, it took at least 12-15 minutes before the salads were served and another 15 minutes before the main entrees were served. The server was obviously very busy with no one to assist him with taking salad plates were bread basket away or refill our waters until we asked them to. In my opinion, I was not very impressed and not sure I would go back there again unless it is one of my last options."

"Waited 30 minutes for a whiskey drink ans almost an hour for a cold meal. The meal was on the house. The service was atrocious for a Saturday night. My other meals there were not was bad."

"Staff was RUDE. Service TERRIBLE. Food MEDIOCRE at best.
Despite a confirmed reservation and timely arrival, we (a group of 4) waited for 15 minutes while they sat several groups that arrived after us. When asked again to be seat they were outright rude. Diner took so long they brought us soup (which we didn't order) after the appetizers and salads.
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. NOT WORTHY OF REPEAT BUSINESS."

"We had a reservation for 4:45. Started with shrimp cocktail. I thought it was good and especially liked the bloody Mary sauce. My girlfriend ordered the filet with mashed potatoes and i ordered an asiago encrusted strip steak topped with gorgonzola cheese served with peppercon sauce. The food was average/good but both sauces were very salty.
It was obvious that our server was overwhelmed by the sudden influx of business. When our server checked back to inquire about our entrees I asked for our complimentary valentine desert (yelp offer) and our chek. Our server passed by several times without check and without clearing our plates that were pushed to edge of table. Still no desert so we cancelled desert and asked 4 check again. Asked"

"Made reservation for 6:30. We arrived a little early, the hostess said they were running behind and we would probably be seated about 10-15 mins. late. We waited in the bar lounge, had a few drinks and an appetizer. The bar staff was great. hey came and got us for dinner around 7:00, a little later than expected but how accurate can they be. The food at dinner was good not great. The waitress was not really very attentive, she did not seem to be that busy and walked past us several time with out refreshing our drinks.We asked for the check and had to wait about 15 min. to recieve it. All in all I would say it was a so so night out."
