"Our family visited Kincaid's Mother's Day evening. The restaurant was full. Due to the crowd, we thought the service and food might be a bit lacking, but just the opposite was true. We enjoyed the best dining experience we've ever had there -- and we've frequented Kincaid's many times over the years. And we are certainly looking forward to out next return visit. Outstanding!"

"Kincaids continues to deliver excellence in a refined atmosphere. We have been here many times, and we never tire of good service and hearty food. They have a nice birthday special, a huge creme brulee that is done perfectly. We also use the Kincaids rewards program which gives substantial dollar credits. Ramp parking (free) is another big plus."

"We went to Kincaids on Mother's Day. We were seated in the back which was nice because it is quieter but all wait staff must walk by the table. The waitress was okay but not great. I expect the waitress to bring coffee and water when it cup/ glass is getting low, not when we has to request to it each time. Also I really don't care about her personal life. Nothing was wrong with the food but the. It wasn't exceptional either. I expect more from Kincaids."

"We have been to Kinkaids quite a few times. We are always pleased. We like the service, and the food is very well prepared. We like the special attention given for birthdays and anniversaries. That is a nice idea. The greeters and the service are always cordial, and professional in appearance and attitude. Usually very helpful and questions are answered promptly. It is by some standards pretty pricey, but my opinion is that we get what we pay for each time."

"We were promptly seated, and they honored our wishes for a very good table. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient.
It was my husband's 80th birthday, and his request was dinner out at Kincaid's. It isn't very convenient from where we live, but worth the drive. The food was excellent, and of course the complimentary dessert was appreciated."

"Mary and I used to dine at Kincaid's by ourselves, with friends, with clients and with our growing sons. Always loved the food, service, atmosphere, martinis, and wine.
This trip, we found the staff to be wonderful, kudos to Tammi. The birthday card and desert (perfect!) were classy and appreciated! We found that the food was not as great as the 'old days' as the sauces were weak & mildly flavorful, and too small portions. I found the ribeye to be very gristly - even though I like gristle! Sadly, we both found the veggies to be a tad undone - not bad, but not per the old Kincaids. My martini was fabulous - wish I could have had 3 or 4, and the wine was good. We had a great time, but wouldn't spend the money next time."

"One of the most beautiful dining rooms around - our favorite restaurant - perfect for my birthday! Smoked salmon appetizer was unique and delicious. Halibut special was the best halibut preparation my husband said he'd ever eaten. My go-to dish is lobster tail. Gotta have it. Great wine by the glass selection. Complementary crème brulee was the perfect finishing touch - and I don't like crème brulee! Our server Jay offered to exchange it for another dessert but it was too good to pass on - creamy with no egg taste. Service was outstanding - food was perfectly paced to allow us to have a relaxing dinner. Exceptional evening from start to finish!"

"We frequent Kincaid's often, and we always can count on good food and great service. I thought the food prices were higher than in the past and the quality of my NY steak was not up to par. My wife loved the grilled prawns and the smashed potatoes; she will order next time if it is on the menu. My other guests enjoyed their food, but I paid the bill!We appreciated the table for 6 out of the main area. All in all we had a great family gathering."

"A "typical" - for Kincaids - lunch. In other words OUTSTANDING. The beautiful glass-enclosed greenhouse-like plant filled setting was very bright with the first sunshine we'd seen in a week, and we noticed one diner happily wearing his sunglasses. Other groups were intentionally seated by staff at booth-shaded tables. The food was perfectly prepared with enough spice twists to keep it interesting without overwhelming the core flavors. We had a tender steak-bites appetizer on a bed of sticky rice with dried pineapple & just a touch of red pepper flakes. The lemon mustard sauce for the steelhead also enhanced the sauteed fresh veggies accompanying it. Our server kept water glasses & the oversized (two-hands needed) coffee cup filled."

"Took my wife there for our anniversary - 21 years. Used to go religiously each year to celebrate anniversary, but have not been for a couple years. Missed it big time. The service was superb, the food is excellent and I've never had a bad experience there. The bar area has a nice layout (very open and energetic), and the appetizers in the bar are great. My wife had the Filet Mignon and I had the Halibut special - best I've ever had! Kudos!"

"We were there for our 50th wedding anniversary. My daughter-in-law had a special cake made for us and brought it in the morning. It had to be refrigerated, and they took care of everything. We were even able to get a big round table back away from the crowd. Our waiter was helpful and efficient. Since part of our family came as a surprise from Houston, everyone at Kincaid's helped make it a very enjoyable evening."

"First, I want to start with the positive. The service was outstanding as always but we were disappointed at our latest return to Kincaids ( our special occasion go to spot). I took forever to get our oysters. Our server kept apologizing for the delay. The food was ok at best. The signature peppercorn steak has changed and not for the good. The sauce overwhelmed the halibut. Just not what we have come to expect from one of our favorite places"

"I hosted a business dinner for 8 and while one steak was returned to the kitchen for being too well done, I consider that to be sometimes personal choice. It was handled very well and food was returned quickly to the table. The appetizers and remaining entree's as well as the cocktails were great. The food was very good, the service was very good and the parking excellent. I would plan another business dinner here."

"2nd visit. First was 2 years ago. We couldn't remember the name this time so we Googled "Minneapolis steak house". As soon as we saw Kincaid's we remembered that it was what we were looking for. Great food, ambiance, service. Will be back again next time I'm in Minneapolis."

"This place is known for a great night out, especially when celebrating. But I wouldn't put all their food at the top, especially given the prices. The price does not match the quality, in my estimation. The bottle of wine we ordered was 400% over the price we usually pay at the store. We do not frequent this place because of the prices. But it is a unique and pretty atmosphere, and the bar can be fun with their appetizers. If you order dessert, be sure to share. They are too big for one person."

"A pleasure. Server was outstanding, pacing courses to match our leisurely evening, maintaining a watchful but not intrusive eye--plus she greeted me by asking if I'd like the cocktail that I had asked about via my OpenTable reservation--so nice to know a restaruant that actually still pays attention to these details. Love the setting, too, beautiful wood and glass, warm/comfortable and exciting at the same time. Crabcakes & garnishes great play of textures/tastes. Spring green salad w little spring-roll-like crunchy batons of blue cheese/walnuts-fantastic. Wine choices by the glass better than most. Prime rib done exactly to order. My client said best creme brulee she had ever had. Nice range of cognac & tawny port options."

"We usually come for brunch, but decided to try dinner for a special occasion. We all enjoyed our selections--halibut, ribeye and salmon combo, prime rib, and chicken. The preparation for each was flavorful and cooked just right--neither over or underdone. As usual, the service was superb and atmosphere was delightful."
