Alberto's Ristorante was established in 1984 at which time, Northern Italian cuisine and fresh homemade pasta were introduced to Cape Cod for the first time. Since then, we have continued this tradition of all fresh ingredients and in-house preparation of every course from the soups to the desserts.
Our reputation for casual elegance arises from our emphasis on decor, service, the pride we take in food preparation, and our affordability. "Food was outstanding. Stuffed baked scrod was exceptional as the stuffing actually consisted of pieces of lobster and scallops, minimal bread. Excellent! My wife had Alberto's seafood dish, also excellent as it too consisted of generous portion of seafood, including lobster and sea scallops.
Started with caesar salad with anchoives, as caesar salad should be. I enjoyed it very much.
We saved money on the wine and enjoyed Alberto's private labeled barberra red wine. Very good choice.
Service was top notch.
Ambience is a little tired, but okay - enjoyed the restaurant immensly"

"The waitress didn't wait to put our dinner order in, so we were rushed between the appetizer & main course. Even though we made a reservation and the place was pretty empty, she made us feel like we weren't getting out of there fast enough. Unfortunate, since the food was very good."

"Our first time and everything was wonderful. My son is having his wedding here in Dec. so we wanted to check it out. We are not normally in this area for dinner and made a special trip down to the Cape. It was well worth the trip. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. The owner took time out of a busy Saturday night to spend some time with us after dinner, kudos."

"We had a lovely birthday dinner there on a Saturday night. I had asked for a table by the fire and my request was granted. Our server Courtney was wonderful. Very helpful and attentive. Great wine list with super prices. My husband loved his entire dinner, I was very happy with everything except I thought my main course was just ok. They brought him out a dessert for a birthday which was a nice touch. Thank you for a great time!"

"Alberto's has become our go to restaurant for special occasions. For a classic "linen tablecloth" experience, there is none better. The food is excellent served with great presentation. The waitstaff is top notch - they are there when you need them, yet remain in the background so that you do not feel rushed. The perfect place to go when you want a great meal and want to feel special."

"We were out on the Cape for a few days during the week and, having heard about Alberto's, decided to ride out to Hyannis. It's on the pricey side, but their 29th Anniversary Special menu is very good. They offer a salad or appetizer, entree, and dessert. The fried calamari was exquisite and super tender. The caesar salad, however, was a disappointment. The dressing was sweet and tangy, as if it came from a bottle. Really?? This is one of the easiest dressings to make. The entrees were good, although mine had a bit too much marsala wine that made it cloyingly sweet. It really should have been cooked off a bit more. The service was really good. We had a young waiter from Brazil who was very personable. We'll give it another try."

"What a great find! First the restaurant is adorable, and glamorous without being cheesy. The dining areas certainly have a romantic vibe and the area around the fireplace is especially cozy. Next I have to say the service was excellent. My girlfriend and I both have diet restrictions (lactose free) and both the waiter and the chef were very helpful and accommodating. Finally the food and wine was outstanding. The bake stuffed lobster was not only enormous it was perfectly cooked and delicious. The soup, salad and appetizers were also excellent. I have a new favorite spot in the Cape - I'd highly recommend Alberto's!"

"I selected Alberto's as I hadn't been there in many years but remember the food to be fabulous. I was hoping nothing had changed. Hyannis in January is slow, which made the experience even better since we weren't rushed and the restaurant was quiet. I attended with a group of seven friends in celebration of my 50th birthday. The pre-fix menu for 2 at $30.00 per person with a bottle of wine was a fantastic deal and included more choices than most restaurants that offer similar plans."
