"Food was pretty good. Seating is cheek to jowl when the place fills up though. I think it was about the worst Ive ever experienced. Wait staff is competent and friendly."

Review 2 for Les Enfants Terribles
Overall Rating
(Very Good)
"Despite having to wait an hour past our scheduled reservation time, the food and everything else was great. I got the scallop appetizer and the grilled tuna entree and both were excellent. We were all very happy with our food and service. The only other negative other than having to wait longer than anticipated was how dark it was. It was very difficult to read the menu even by the candle light provided."

"The food and service were both on point. Even though the bartender was noticeably busy he still was very attentive. We sat at the bar by the window and this was very comfortable. However, the other side of the bar and the restaurant looked to be a traffic mess. Seating is very tight in the restaurant even by NY standards so be prepared to squeeze in."

"The food is great. Get the appetizer sampler it is worth it. The cocktails are nice and fresh.
Overall the restaurant squeezes as many table as possible in a small area. The restaurant is them extremely loud . It ruins the food experience. Maybe sitting at the bar is a better option."

Review 7 for Les Enfants Terribles
Overall Rating
(Poor)
"DO NOT GO HERE! I read that the service wasn't very good but I decided to give it a try regardless. I had reservations at 930pm and couldnt even get in the door since there were so many people standing around waiting to be seated. By the time I made my way up to the hostess I had to wait 15 minutes before he could even check me in and tell me there would be a 30 minute wait. The atomsphere was SO chaotic that I couldn't even stand to be there another minute! When I left, I heard someone on their cellphone say that they had been waiting for 45 minutes on a 9pm reservation. Never again! Ps - I never write reviews but I just had to share this terrible experience! With so many great restaurants in NY I have no clue how this place exists!"

Review 8 for Les Enfants Terribles
Overall Rating

"Les Enfants Terribles was TERRIBLE.They refused to seat us with only two people missing from the group (I had reserved a table for six), notwithstanding the fact that I explained to the host the other two were on their way and we were willing to start ordering food.As my group and I sat at the bar starving, I watched a group of 8 be seated at our reserved table (the only large table) who had just walked in off the street with no open table reservation.I told the host that we were leaving after such poor treatment. A day later, I come to find that he marked me as a no show on open table.I had to write to open table to explain the situation so that they could remove the no show from my account.Thank you open table;Shame on "Resto Terrible.""

"We went for our work holiday dinner and it was a HUGE success. It was out-of-character for our boss, but we the peons got to pick and we picked Les Enfants! The service was great, spent her time helping us with food and drink choices, lovely people, amazing food, great drink selection, really nice ambience. All of us said we would definitely go again."

Review 11 for Les Enfants Terribles
Overall Rating
(Good)
"I met a friend at Les Enfants Terribles for dinner after work one Friday. When we arrived it was pretty empty, but over the course of our meal it got very crowded. Overall, it was a fun place to spend an evening. The food was eclectic and seemed to cover a range of regions and areas. I ordered the couscous and chicken and thought it was very nice. However, there was a lot of vegetables with the order and because of the small table, there was not ample room to mix and cut my vegetables and chicken so that I could eat it with the couscous. It required some tricky maneuvering. Overall, the dinner was pleasant and atmosphere nice, but the food and service wasn't special enough to make me recommend it or go back again. Possibly drinks."

"The service is really slow, seating is cramped, and the food is decent. The highlight is really the decor, not the best place to eat, but it's a great place for a drink. However, beware of rude French guys taking bar stools like they own the place."
