"Ayza is fine - the food and wine (and chocolate) are usually very good, and the ambience is great - no complaints there. The complaint is that this was the third or fourth time I've shown up on time (with a reservation) that wasn't honored. I was eventually seated, but not until after a 15 or 20 minute wait at the bar. They just don't honor reservations, and should probably stop taking them. If you go at a busy time, even with a reservation, expect to wait, or have a back up place in mind."

"We visited Ayza on the first night of our NYC girls' weekend and were not disappointed. The service was amazing and we loved everything we ate and drank. I encourage you to try all the fun cocktails (my favourite was the choco-mint martini). We also tried a huge selection of the appetizers as our main meal and were not disappointed in any of them!"

"I took my gf to AYZA because my parents told me they'd gotten the best chocolate martinis. We signed up for the Couples Sunday Special. Upon arriving, nothing was different than a regular reservation, however, we did not mention anything. We were given samples of the exotic sangria which was very good and we ordered the goat cheese brulee salad. The salad was outstanding, especially the bruleed goat cheese. We ordered two paninis, the prosciutto panini and the AYZA panini. They weren't bad, but were extremely salty (I drank about 5-6 glasses of water while dining). For dessert we ordered a chocolate martini and the chocolate lava cake, both of which were good. Come to find out, they'd not known about our Couples Sunday Special reservation."

"My husband and I did the SUNDAYS COUPLES NIGHT OUT and it was wonderful. They put a red taper candle and rose petals on the table. We were brought shots of their sangria, which was delicious. I think all customers get the sangria shots. The Angry Chicken Lollipops were delicious and just spicy enough for us. The Mozzarella di Bufala salad was so fresh. Dave had a flatbread with prosciutto, figs and Manchego cheese, a delicious combo of sweet and savory. Then Jacques Torres truffles for dessert. Yum! We'll definitely return."

"This place a little chaotic when we arrived. surprising for a tuesday. Think the hostess was having a bad night. but coupled that the update to the reservation update from opentable never made it to the restaurant was a rough start. Our server was brilliant. didn't rush us at all. Had a few tapas - baked brie, mushroom truffle pizza - both delish. Chocolate covered strawberries to finish. On tuesday, if you book online - you get free chocolate covered strawberries and a chocolate shot. If you want to take advantage just make sure you mention at check in and to your server. nice perk!"

"I truly enjoyed my birthday dinner at Ayza! My party and I were seated in their outdoor room, which at first I thought was going to be cold and drafty but with the heaters it was warm and cozy! Ayza has a great selection of delicious cheeses and I definitely recommend getting one of their cheese platters to start off your meal. They also have some amazingly delicious entrees such as the brochette marinated chicken and the pasta radiatore, the chicken was grilled to perfection and the beets and rice were excellent. My friends who had the pasta raved about the taste, smell, and how the pasta itself had to have been handmade! All in all it was a great experience, just a small mix up with one of my friends plates but it was corrected in no time"

"We got to the restaurant at 5pm, and we were glad we did. By the time we finished, the place was rocking, and people were waiting, even for outside tables, on a cold March evening. The plastic tent and the outdoor heaters are an inspired use of space --- but being a "greenie," I wonder about the carbon footprint of this place. On the other hand, I doubt that it could survive on just interior seating, as the space is so small, and yes --- cramped. We chose a corner table, where we were seated at a right angle to each other, with the window and the wall creating the other sides of the seating. People were constantly bumping into my chair, as there was another table in the corner behind me, with very little aisle space.

"got here on a thursday with someone special after a rough day at work - looking for someplace hidden, yet good. made a short walk from the office together and when we arrived it was exactly what we were looking for. hidden gem, good ambience - we arrived and were attended to promptly. service was good, but nothing to shout about. we were served complimentary gluwine which is always a nice touch especially during winter. ordered more of that. tables not too near each other inside (there was outdoor seating that seemed uncomfortable). try the white truffle pizza! for entree we had fillet mignon which was average but hey, you don't come here for the food. the wine and cocktail lists were unique, and chocolate dessert.. will def return."

"Came here for a double date/birthday lunch and everything was great! The waiter was very accommodating, the ambiance was fantastic (we sat in their outdoor seating, and they provided us with their heaters immediately on the brisk March morning). The dish I had was a bit too oily for my liking, I believe I ordered the Prosciutto Di Parma panini, but that is just a personal preference. The birthday boy loved my panini.
We ended the meal with the chocolates, and it was unique and delicious. Although I am not a chocolate fanatic, these exotic treats really hit the spot. Thank you so much Ayza family!"

"What a GREAT restaurant! A LOT of options of drinks and desserts. It's rather pricey (spent about $200 between me and my bf) but the food and drinks are worth it. We were seated outside and the ambiance was very romantic. Service was great and they kept the food/drinks coming. Even thought their chocolate martinis are $16 each, YOU MUST TRY IT! It's the most delicious drink I ever tasted!"

"Went here for wine and cheese prior to taking in a show. It is a cute, small, space with soft lighting. There is a covered, heated, outdoor patio with larger tables. We were immediately brought complimentary cups of mulled wine which was a nice surprise. We also had brought vouchers for two free glasses of wine for each of us "liking" them on Facebook. Brilliant marketing on their part! Service was friendly and attentive. If you plan to order a full dinner, I would recommend requesting a larger table as our table was tiny and hard to fit our few plates and glasses."

"The service was excellent and the food was wonderful. We had four small plates, three recommended by our fantastic server. The pita and artichoke spread, the pizza, the Mediterranean salad, and the chicken lollipops were all outstanding. The 20 layer cake with the birthday sparkler was awesome!
