"We always enjoy an outing to LebTav at Westover, one of the first and still one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in the area. This is authentic "ethnic" cuisine at reasonable prices. Check it out!"

"I used to love this restaurant, but the new menu offers about a third of what they used to have, which is a problem when you go there for mezza. Also, items that used to offer a nice portion of food have been reduced significantly. As an example, we were accidentally brought the old shrimp appetizer (6-8 grilled shrimp in a gorgeous sauce)before the waiter realized the mistake and brought the new version, which has 3 shrimp on a bed of couscous."

"Lebanese Taverna never disappoints and the Westover restaurant is cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed having a non-traditional Easter meal. Glad to see the new chairs!"

"We love the food, which is why we keep returning. The table was not great - too close to the bar - and we felt a bit crowded. The Fettoush salad was not as good as in the past, but everything else was delicious."

"Excellent, friendly, and efficient service. Restaurant manager/partner came to our table and spoke with us as we left. Waiter was familiar with the food on menu and made good suggestions without imposing. The food was good and plentiful. There was parking, and the location is easily accessible to Arlington, Falls Church, Fairfax, and even Washington, DC via Route 50 and Washington Blvd. I highly recommend. Good value for price."

"I've been struggling with this review a bit. I usually love the Lebanese Taverna, but I have only been to their DC and Tyson's locations. As far as this Arlington location goes, it was just was okay. Maybe I expected more because I went in comparing it to their other locations, but honestly I did not find it to be as good. First, it was very small and crowded. Uncomfortably so. We could not eat without constantly bumping into each other and to those around us. Our server was abrupt, and at times on the rude side. Our party of 5 all enjoyed our meal, but no one found it to be great. The best thing we had was the chicken shawarma appetizer. My chicken kabob entree was dry and chewy. Given the demeanor of our server, there was no w"

"We were looking (late) for a Valentine's Day place and we both liked the Lebanese Taverna at Tysons and in Arlington. We had reservations for 7:00 P.M. and the place was full (not a surprise.) The Valentine's special included an unlimited choice of mezza options and we ordered eleven - in groups of three or four. The portions were ample and both my wife and I sampled everything - and enjoyed every choice. Even dessert provided three choices and we polished them off, too.
The Arlington "Taverna" is the original restaurant and it has the flavor of the Middle East and our Egyptian waiter added to the atmosphere, was prompt and efficient.
We'll be back!"

"LT in Westover is a great neighborhood restaurant. I've always liked it there since we started going in 1999. They have done some remodeling since then but it still has character. Being of Lebanese descent but of a generation not having the time to roll grape leaves or cabbage rolls, I do enjoy eating Lebanese fare and their bread is some of the best around. They have also introduced me to other Lebanese dishes that my grandmother and mother never made. Their Salmon Mehshwi is absolutely delicious. I can also get my Kibbe Nayeh fix there. All around a very good restaurant."

"It is probably the best location of the chain of Lebanese Taverna because of its neighborhood feel. The food was superb and the so was the service. The tables are clustered near each other which remind us the European restaurants. We had a great experience every time we come back to this location. Wished the host had acknowledged us with a quick goodbye when we left."

"We ahd the hummos trio, spinach pies, falafel and grape leaves--all excellent, plus an excellent wine recommended by the staff. The real treat was that they brought us complimentary baklava and ice cream for dessert."

"We loved this restaurant for the wide variety of choices especially mezzas. They have redone the menu, substantially shortening the mezza list. Three of our four favorites were gone. One is now presented as a sandwich with sides, one (shrimp arak) as an entree (with vegetables and couscous and increased price to match), and one (sambousek) is combined with two other mezzas. Shawarma is served as a sandwich with French Fries. For us, the menu has lost the special flavor, especially small plates, which made it different and fun. The waitstaff are helpful and prompt as before."
