"I enjoy the decor and feel of the restaurant, but the food was awfull . I ordered a Filet Mingon and could not eat it. It had no flavor and the meet was very chewy!! The grab cab was very fishy tasting and the desert was not good either. Over all the food was overprice and not good!"

"The entire experience exuded class. The server was amazing, helpful, courteous and not a tad snooty. She walked us through our meal and chose our perfect dessert to go with our wines. The Sommelier was equally amazing, especially during our experience in the Wine Room. We were able to enjoy exceptional food, service and wine in a beautiful atmosphere."

"Awesome night with the new menu @ the new ROYCE. Food is excellent, so does the services. Steak, tomato salad and a glass of wine, perfect! We had the dessert as well but it's too sweet, room for improvement."

"We dined at the Royce for Pasadena Restaurant Week, and I was underwhelmed. In regards to service, we had to ask for the restaurant week menu, and after we did the attentiveness of the server quickly declined. As for the menu itself, the salads offered as a first course were average, and my butter lettuce salad was overdressed. We both chose the wagyu for the entre which was well prepared with a crispy exterior but firm and juicy inside, but I wouldn't call it the best steak I've ever had, easily surpassed by steaks at CUT. I ordered a side of peas, which were too firm and chalky. Overall, for a restaurant that claims to be a top steakhouse the Royce falls far short."

"The change in the "character" of the Royce (to a steak house) seems somewht out of character with the ambiance and approach of the Langham, itself. The restaurant, in its previous form was more harmonious with its surroundings."

"I've been in Pasadena for a year and it was the best restaulant that ever I knew in L.A. by far.(Before that,my best was commeca@Melrose.) Of course it's easy to imagine the beautiful atomosphere and the pricy but worthy dishes. But all dishes my husband&I had were more than expected. We had appetizers(tomato/lettuce) ,juicy skirt steaks and awesome desserts(choco cake, bread pudding) as the Pasadena restaulant week's menu. I didn't like bread pudding before, but this one made me fallen in ♡! I hope to visit again and would like to take my parents to there!"

"Service was very poor at first. We were left for 20 minutes after the first welcome. Steak was not prepared correctly but it took me another 15 minutes to tell the waitress. They did replace the streak but by then my tabel was ready to depart."
