The Terrace serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and a delectable breakfast buffet and à la carte Sunday Brunch. The comforting California bistro-style menu is comprised of seasonal and sustainable California cuisine, offering a variety of choices that will delight both the discerning and casual diner. The menu also contains Chuan Body & Soul dishes, which have a greater emphasis on health and nutrition. The Terrace’s outdoor patio offers guests lovely alfresco dining with views of the Picture Bridge and pool, and provides the perfect setting for a business lunch or relaxing dinner.
"We have a wonderful lunch by t5he hotel pool and garden. Food is refine and well presented. A wonderful experience on a fine spring day. Could have stayed all afternoon if our schedule permitted it."

"We were at The Terrace on a weeknight with less than 10 parties eating there, but the service was still super slow. Also, we saw one of the waiters almost yelling and reprimanding another waiter for a mistake (I assume). This kind of stuff should be done behind closed doors, not in front of customers. Service definitely needs improvement. Food is good, but not extraordinary. Both the braised lamb shank and braised pork shop were good, the meat was tender and "fell" off the bone. The Souffle that we had for dessert was also good, but we've had better. The main draw of this restaurant is that it's located in The Langham, a very nice, ritzy hotel with some history, located in Pasadena."

"It was so noisy we could not hear ourselves talk. The food was mediocre and the service perfunctory. it may have been less noisy if one ate outside but we we not offered that alternative. I"

"The hotel is beautiful and the Terrace is perfectly pleasant. There's nothing extraordinary about the food but it's good. The restaurant was pretty loud but I didn't expect Sunday Brunch at a hotel retaurant to be quiet. If you're ineterested in going, go for the resplendence of the hotel. If you're going just for the food you're likely to be underwhelmed."

"Took the family here for Easter brunch. The Langham is a beautiful hotel with gorgeous grounds. They offered a brunch buffet. The food was fresh and vibrant. My only problem was with the omelette station. They had a student from the Art Institute working and I ordered a vegetarian with egg whites. He was a nice guy and chatty. When I got back to my table and took a bite I found he undercooked the omelette. This left me grossed out and unable to really eat much beyond fruit and a bagel w/cream cheese. Kind of a waste of $30.
We will try it again soon but, if I get an omelette, I will pay more attention to who is cooking it."

Review 17 for The Terrace at The Langham, Pasadena
"The food does not meet the standards set by the environment. We have eaten at The Terrace a few times before and always had a good experience. We went this past weekend for my wife's birthday and the Sunday brunch. The brunch buffet is short on options and quality. If you are going to have such a limited selection of items then those selections should be of the best quality. The pastries are rivaled by anything you can buy at Costco and truthfully not up to that par. Same for the fruit, lox and bagels. Overall a very underwhelming experience. Very sad to say we will not be going back."

Review 18 for The Terrace at The Langham, Pasadena
"This is a true SoCal Gem! The Langham is elegant, and uses the outdoor space so that diners may enjoy the splendid weather. Dining by the pool on the Terrace is wonderful. The menu offers a variety of culinary enhancements on familar favorites, as well as introducing unique dishes. The service is always excellent, the staff will try to accomodate any request. The combination of historic building, elegant decor, scenic views, outstanding menu, and friendly staff, makes this an experience to repeat."

"Service was very slow. We waited 50 minutes to get served breakfast and it wasn't even busy. Food was ok at best. I had higher expectations since i've had many events/meals at Langham and restaurants."

Review 21 for The Terrace at The Langham, Pasadena
"The Langham has unfortunately been destroying the unique ambiance of the Huntington Hotel since they took over the property. The Terrace once elegant, and comfortable, is now a miss-matched hodgepodge of design elements that just don't go together. The food was above average, the service is fantastic. They need a new bartender, had the worst Mai Tai I've ever had, and at $15 it should be out of this world. Went to burn a gift certificate that I had been given. But at nearly $200 for dinner for 3, there are a lot better places to go eat."

Review 22 for The Terrace at The Langham, Pasadena
"I know what we experienced was not the norm. First our reservation for 10:00 still had us waiting almost 20 minutes. When we got to our table our waiter came by and we were served orange juice and coffee. Then nothing. After three attempts to get creamer and water, and 20+ minutes of waiting and watching people who were sat after us being served I finally got up and asked a manager what was going on. Martha could not have been nicer. She immediately took care of the problem, we were served very quickly afterwards and she came by with little chocolates as an apology. After the meal Martha came back to let us know that she had comped the meal, which was not necessary but definatley appreciated. We will be back because of Martha."

Review 27 for The Terrace at The Langham, Pasadena
"We went to the Terrace for the first time during dineLA Restaurant Week. Their Prix Fix menu was great, the food was tasty and well done. And the dessert to die for! I don't know if this is indicative of their regular menu, but willing to go back for a try.
The service was excellent, but the restaurant was slightly loud. I could hear the entire conversation of the table next to me, which made it difficult to enjoy a quiet evening with my wife.
An overall good experience that I would try again."

"We went on a Saturday night and the noise level was a bit high. Food was very good with a variety of choices on the special menu. Regular menu looked good. A bit pricey so be prepared to spend especially if you have a few drinks or a bottle of wine."

Review 31 for The Terrace at The Langham, Pasadena
"We booked the Langham as a special Christmas treat for ourselves, travelling from Australia and my 82 year old aunt who lives in Glendale. The Christmas Eve menu was beautiful and the 5 of us (including our 16 year old twins) really enjoyed our meal and the restaurant, although we all thought there could have been some more Christmas decorations and maybe some Christmas background music. Unfortunately it was quite cool at our table as we were seated not far from the window. My elderly aunt could not get get warm. (the rest of us were not worried!"

"Beautiful location for a brunch or lunch. Prices are on the more expensive side for what you get. Thanks to DineLA the prices...well, I didn't think their DineLA menu was much of a value for what we got. Food was good and finally got a chance to check out the Langham though."
