"On the website the brunch was advertised as 35$ (no beverages included) for a 3 course prix fix menu. When our party of 5 arrived there on mothers day the menu changed to 60$ per person no beverages of any sort included. We ended up spending double what we were planning on spending on good but nopt excellent food. In fact the brunch menu and lunch were both 60$ for food that is not comparable."

"This is one of my favorite places anywhere. The service and food are nearly always perfect. Seasonal food, beautifully prepared, coupled with well-trained, attentive without being overbearing service. I've been to Harvest every six months or so for years and it never disappoints. A rarity."

"Took my family to Harvest for the Mother's Day prix fixe brunch. I was expecting to be wowed. Not so! The adult meal seemed inspired but was prepared poorly. The children's menu was laughable: a fruit cocktail with a few old grapes browning at the top; a beef patty cut in half, masquerading as "sliders." Ordered the sliders medium and they came oozing bloody juice. The adult menu wasn't any better. The loin of lamb arrived looking like shoe leather, not medium rare. The wild ramp pistou was so salty it was inedible. Should have sent my meal back a second time. Wife's corn pudding also too salty. I left feeling that this restaurant was simply dialing it in on Mother's Day."

"Went to Harvest for a special occasion dinner - celebrating daughter's college grad with 9 for dinner. Food is interesting, well-prepared and delicious. Service was a bit off - very slow - it was a busy night, not sure if problem was with the kitchen. But Harvest is a lovely venue and I would recommend it highly."

"It was amazing to the 5 of us that the restaurant crammed at least 5 large parties all into the small space in the front of the restaurant. It made it cramped and very noisy and not at all pleasant."

"Why oh why did I, a native Bostonian, pay 45 bucks for a chix lobstah?? It was tasty. But it was tiny. This is my fault. Well, the menu is tight....a signal of local ingredients and quality. Still, to be honest, the lobster is the only thing that appealed to me.
The food is high quality and well executed, but don't arrive too hungry...... My wife was fine with the portions (then again, I was paying and she's not fat, like me).
I'd go back in a second as the service was great, the food high quality and very tasty, the setting very nice, the wine list accommodating.....and the restaurant a legend. Desserts were great, too!
Seriously.....it's a nice treat."

"We dined outside, the only thing was the the restaurant staff, took out the trash behind the fence several times via trash Berlins and it was disturbing to our conversation, while they should of waited till the end of the night. Other then that, the service and the food, was very good, and will indeed return"

"Hadn't been in a while - and had the chance to return for a Sunday Brunch. While sometimes I am hungry enough for a massive hotel buffet - sometimes I am just in an eat-light mood. And so was surprised and a bit disappointed to see a mandated three course prix fixe for Sunday Brunch. With about six choices for a beginner and main and then a mandated dessert - which came home. All was good - nothing spectacular. But the mandatory prix fixe was an unexpected negative. However - while awaiting my guests I did review the wine list - for dinner and wow what a great list for us new world red lovers!"

"Good food - had the tenderloin and my fiancee had the lobster. Both were delicious. Standard fare for what you would expect from a mid/higher end dining experience.
Amazing service - many people came up to us to make sure we were having a good experience (but not too many so that it hampered our enjoyment of the experience).

"A small, very small note is that the where we sat was a little cool. We had brunch and sat inside at the corner table next to the outside courtyard beyond the kitchen. It was a good spot to sit but because the servers were going in and out to the courtyard, and the door was always slightly ajar, it seemed to cool our meals off quick."

"They seated me and my guest at separate tables. The service was very terse and unfriendly. The salmon I ordered was overcooked. The bread wasn't warm and fairly dry. The chocolate desert (chocolate pate) was over sweet and not delicate enough. We ordered a bottle of "Perrier" and the waiter brought a class of champagne (did he think "Perrier-Jouet"? Staff at the door offered no thanks and goodbye as I departed. Just not good enough from the price."

"Harvest is usually very good in all respects and I do definitely recommend it. But this time the waiter's head was a thousand miles away. I ordered the asparagus soup and he brought a salad. When I complained, he said, "Oh, I brought you the asparagus salad instead." (The salad he brought had lettuce, avocado and tomato, no asparagus.) He apologized and took the item off the bill, but to get things done promptly we had to use other waiters. Again, this is unusual and I recommend Harvest strongly"

"We had a lovely lunch at Harvest. We sat inside because it was still a little chilly, but the patio area looked lovely. The inside had a clean modern feel, very pleasant. The food was outstanding, everything we tried we were happy with. And we especially enjoyed the Tazo Chocolate Cremeux dessert. The wait staff were very attentive, maybe a bit too quick to check that everything was okay, but very friendly. I would definitely recommend Harvest for a special occasion meal."

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I cannot recall my waiter's name as it did not print out on my receipt, but he was excellent. He showed us around the restaurant as we were interested in the private dining area. We did not feel rushed and our selections were spaced out to allow us time to enjoy our time together as well as each course. I'd not recommend Harvest for quiet dining unless you reserve the room as it is a bit noisy."

"Seemed to be kid-friendly based on other tables we were seeing, though we didn't have any in our party.
Food was great and the Easter prix fixe menu had a good range of options. Noise level was not ideal for my mother-in-law (who wears a hearing aid), but she managed. Service was a little distracted, but we were there on Easter Sunday for brunch which I imagine is one of your busiest daytime shifts, so understandable. However the waiter did bring us the check without us asking for it, as we were finishing up our entrees. Seemed a bit gauche not to ask a final time whether we'd like coffee. But, again, I bet they needed to turn the table over as quickly as possible."

"Our server showcased impeccable timing, knowing when to let us enjoy our cocktails,for example, and then placing our dinner order accordingly. She also explained the wine list well, noting subtle differences between the two Malbecs we had in mind. Although our Caesar salads disappointed, our main meals delighted us. "We went as part of Boston's restaurant week, but ended up ordering off the main menu. The food was generally good - well portioned, well presented. My partner's scallops were underdone to his liking, however.
Service was a bit rushed - they cleared my partner's dishes before I was done and I prefer that they wait until we're both finished to do that.
The restaurant was noisy so made it a bit difficult for conversation."

"Harvest was recommended to me by a friend so I went there for restaurant week. It is a nice place and the food was good but not memorable at all. "Harvest was the perfect place for me to reconnect with a friend I had not seen in many years. The waiter was attentive but allowed us plenty of time to have a relaxed and leisurely dinner. My appetizer of curried chick peas and cauliflower was fabulous. My entree of quail came with red quinoa. I don't like quinoa, but didn't want to be that person who was always changing things. Guess what? It was delicious. Ate everything, and enjoyed every bite. The only reason I withheld a star on the food was because I didn't really care for the grapefruit curd dessert, which was a little disappointing. All in all, however, it was a wonderful meal."

It was not very flavorful and was served with a very plain, unexciting quinoa. From a restaurant as highly rated (and pricey) as Harvest, we expected better.
