"The atmosphere (cheerful, bright, stylish), food, wine, and service were outstanding. We are regulars to Ashland but had brought my sister for the first time. She reported her scallops to be the best she had ever had (also, she will never get over the sundae). I had the same dish and have to agree. We also got the fried chicken and a sundae based on a recommendation from another couple. One reason we love Lark's is that the local greens and inventiveness of the salads are simply fantastic and never disappoint. This was our highlight dinner for the weekend. Thank you!!!!!!"

"Staff from hostess to server to bartender make you feel welcome and comfortable in this high-end restaurant. We had brunch, lunch, and dinner in May. Brunch and lunch a good value with dinner-sized portions. Pan-seared scallops cooked perfectly. Delicious homemade salted caramel ice cream. The sides and sauces made the meals--pork belly hash, blackberry reduction, and a cream of potato and spinach soup that tasted like a liquid spinach souffle."

"Our expectations were a bit higher than the experience provided. The food was good but not great. My broccollini was almost too tough to chew and had a fishy taste. Think it had been fried. My husbands pork chop was huge but over-cooked and had taken a long time to be served. However, prices were typical for the area, the service was good and we would probably try it again."

"Always have pleasant servers, very good food, and usually a quiet environment that enables conversation at normal decibel levels. I'm a health-conscious person who cooks most things from scratch, so I don't frequent restaurants with mediocre chefs. I'd rather fix my own meals! Larks is also a fine venue for meeting a friend for lunch or for having a group. I've done both."

"Larks is a lovely place for brunch. Our waiter was so attentive, not too removed or too pushy. His energy was just right. I so appreciated how he was. The food is very good and somehow the menu was ordinary, not outstanding. I missed the experience of having many things on the menu that drew me in...there were only a couple. The only real downside is that a couple were playing music in the corner on some device and no one asked them to turn it down. I eventually did. I wish the staff had noticed. This is the first time I was there for brunch and I would go back. And, I wish the food were turned up a notch."

"My girlfriend's birthday presented the first opportunity for me to make a dining reservation via my IPad. I found it very easy and super convenient. The web site is very well done. Our table was ready on time and the staff took care of us immediately. We found the food to be generally quite good, even excellent. The cod special for the day was very tasty but it just felt like something else could have " sparked" it to exceptional. My pork chop was huge with first class presentation. The crust and the fond glaze were all you could for. A great meal with friends at a local gem!"
