"Fantastic food and exceptional service. My wife and I had dinner at Les Folies earlier this week on a trip to Annapolis. It was so great that we went back for dinner the next evening - - wish we could go again and again and again. According to spouse, last night's crab cakes were the best ever - - and we've spent a lot of time in Maryland."

"Once again we thoroughly enjoyed the food, wine, service and ambiance at Les Folies Brasserie in Annapolis. The Mother's Day menu provided many choices. Each course our party of 4 had, from appetizer to entree to dessert, was well prepared and the Mother's Day cocktail was a nice feature. Our server made an excellent wine recommendation. Though it was quite busy, the noise level was not at all distracting. The community is lucky to have such a gem!"

"My wife and I have eaten here before. We celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary. I love the food here but I usually get the same thing each time. We always start with the escargot. Next will be the bouillabassie which is so good my wife usually takes the left over broth home and eats it with French bread the next day. We always end with a Grand Manrier soufflé. Again all the food is wonderful and the service is excellent."

"It's hard to find new things to say about this wonderful restaurant. It's located in a former bank building in an industrial area of Parole. The exterior is completely unassuming. However, the moment you step inside and Alain, the proprietor greets you with "Bonsoir, comment ca va?" and a kiss on both cheeks (provided you are female), you are transported to Paris. The artwork, the music, and the waitstaff all conspire to provide a wonderful "out of country" experience without the hassle of going to the airport."

"We have been to the restaurant several times in the past. I was disappointed in my mussels.they were tough and not well seasoned.
Also, our waitress, who has waited on us before, was not as attentive as one would expect. The other wait staff were quite good, and they made us feel welcomed.

"It was a special event, 50th birthday celebration. The appointment was at a good time, parking was available, shown to our table immediately (no waiting at all), server was there to ask us about drinks [when asked to give a few minutes, she agreed and did not forget about us], food served was hot (meaning that it did not sit in the kitchen long enough to get luke-warm), food was very good, wine chosen was worth the price, desert was really good - over-all the is a good restaurant to go to for night out."

"The food and service were truly exceptional and are what I would go back for time after time. While the ambiance is generally exceptional too, the table location and spacing was such that my left shoulder was practically touching the back right should blade of the person at the table next to us. Given the closeness of the party next to us, which tended to be a little loud, conversation at our table was little strained which detracted from the overall quality of the experience."

"I had a reservation for 9:45 on valentines day and I called to tell them I would be 5-10 minutes late. They told me to not bother coming because if i showed up ONE second after 9:45. they would not serve me."

"Authentic French menu and food in downtown Annapolis - the smell of real butter as you walk in. Attentive and knowledgeable staff. Artichoke vinaigrette and bouilabaisse for me; half lobster salad and calves liver for my husband. Will definitely go again!"

"It's not by the water and it's not downtown. Les Folies is always worth the 40-minute drive for me. I almost always choose something - sometimes the whole meal - from the specials menu; it is always fresh and timely, e.g. pecan pie in Mardi Gras week."

"The veal my wife ordered was great. The rack of lamb I ordered was average with not much lamb taste. The thing that made the lamb average and not totally disappointing was the sauce that went with the lamb. The Zin wine available by the glass was excellent."

"It has been awhile since I Les Folies. It did disappoint. The wine list is extensive and priced nicely, the appetizers, were great , I had a dozen oysters and my girlfriend had the crab and avocado salad, both were great! We also had the house specialties the bouliabase and the house paella. Both were full of seafood and delicious. For desserts we choose the souffles, they were extremely awesome. I am h going to put les Folies on my monthly date night. Keep up the awesome food!"
