"We went for our anniversary. Given a window seat which was nice (Ok, the view ain't great but it was dark!!!). The food, as ever, was delicious, well cooked & tasty. Service attentive but discreet & there was a good atmosphere. It was busy but not overly so and we had a really good evening!"

"We booked a table for four for 6.30 on Saturday evening.It was our third visit and it was as good as previous times. It was a year since we'd last seen our friends so had a lot of catching up to do but we were not hurried nor felt as if it was time for us to move on. A lovely evening with fantastic food.We'll be back!"

"I have eaten here many times before but the last time was over 2 years ago! What have I been missing, gorgeous food at very reasonable prices. Made a last minute change to our party size and it was no problem for the restaurant to accomodate"

"We went to Pasta di Piazza to celebrate my son's 21st birthday. We wanted somewhere special with great food and good atmosphere.
I can honestly say that we were all delighted and had a enjoyable and memorable night. The staff at Pasta di Piazza were superb."

"We're regulars here and this place never fails to impress. The ambience is second to none and the lighting is perfect. On this occasion, we'd booked for 10.15pm (post theatre). When we arrived we were surpised to find a very long queue - however, this was dealt with in the most professional of ways and only had to wait 2mins to be seated. Just one of those things - late and early tables arrived together. Within 10 seconds of sitting at our table, we were handed menus and the drinks order was taken. 1 min later, drinks arrived. As always, fabulous service and first class food. Can most heartily recommend."

"Fantastic authentic Italian staff and atmosphere. This comes through in the quality of the food. Although the restaurant was full we were looked after very well and made to feel like the only people there. Great bars in the locality too, lovely part of Birmingham. Excellent value, thoroughly and highly recommended!"

"Absolutely wonderful place and a real favourite.
Menu is interesting and varied, staff and service is always excellent, furniture is comfortable, arrangements are intimate so don't have to compete with other diners to be heard, decor is beautiful and it has repeatedly pleased and been a delight to dine here.

"We had been to this restaurant before a few years ago and loved it so were a little hesitant in going back in case it didn't match up to our first visit. We needn't have worried as it was every bit as good. The food was excellent, in particular that night's special of the sea bass ravioli, and the staff were friendly and attentive, serving and cleaning away the empty plates quickly but without rushing us. Excellent value for money as well. We definitely won't be leaving it too long before we go back again."

"A gem in the heart of Birmingham. The staff are friendly, helpful and know their menu.In the four years we have been dining at Pasta di Piazza the food has always been excellent to superb. The resturant is vibrant the clientele is a mix of old, young and reflects the multi- cultural make up of the city"

"It was a bit too noisy but overall an enjoyable evening. The table next to us was a large group and they were a little too close really, but we did have a very helpful waiter.
The food was very good and I would definitely visit again."

"I've been to Pasta di Piazza a few times with groups, but this was the first time we'd been as a couple. The food is good, the service is excellent, and they are usually quite busy (which is frequently a good sign).
Located just off St. Paul's Square and handy for Jam House, PdP is an ideal "can't go wrong" restaurant for a pre- or post-evening-out meal."

"This is a great spot for a bit to eat before heading out for the evening. The service is prompt without feeling rushed. I would also recommend as a place for a longer stay of friends just getting together for a fun dinning experience. Love the ambiance."

"A good restaurant overall. The food was very nice, the pastas dishes were delicious (I am told, I did not order them but others in the group did). The most appealing part of the meal for me were the starters, all of which - and we had a variety between us - were superb. The service was of a very high standard which resulted in the whole experience being very enjoyable. My main was fine, although not what I was expecting really, and I personally wouldn't order it again. Considering it was actually one of the most expensive items on the menu (prawns with tomato and chilli served on a bed of rice). Over all it was a good dining experience although it was very loud."
