Join us for lunch and dinner 7 days a week, and for brunch on Saturday and Sunday. We serve the highest quality food and drink with competent, friendly service. "I go to Lucky 32 often and always look forward to the seasonal menu. This month just didn't seem like there were that many outstanding choices to choose from. Of the two I tried, both were disappointing. I had the potted fish and not only was the flavor just too strong, but the fish to (I'm assuming) mayonnaise was not strongly concentrated. For this to be the only fish entree and to presented as the potted meat most families ate on sandwiches decades ago does not hearken back to a better time, but made me nostalgic for some better tasting casseroles, the bane of any quality kitchen. Additionally, the white bean and sausage soup was named backward as there were as many pieces of sausage as identifiable beans in the soup."

"The food was like last time we came. It was good, but not great. I had a dijon chicken dish with collard greens and sweet potatoes. My wife had the catfish, grits, asparagus, and fries. We shared a brownie for dessert. Eating outside was wonderful on this May evening. My chicken was a little overcooked but overall good. The collard greens were really good, the sweet potatoes were forgettable. My wife's catfish was good, grits and asparagus were great, and the fries weren't very good. The brownie was excellent although I think it should have had 2 scoops of ice cream so you had a better ratio of ice cream to brownie. (the brownie was HUGE. We did not finish it.)

"Granted it was slammed because of Mothers Day, the last few times we've been a bit disappointed with the food. We had brunch and the portions were on the small side and the food was very bland. The plates looked like they were rushed out of the kitchen just to fulfill orders. The burgers are always good but I think they have gone downhill lately, not sure why. We want to like this restaurant but frankly there are better places to eat in Cary right now."

"We made a reservation for the very purpose to avoid a wait with my elderly mother. It took us 25 minutes to be seated although we were right on time for our reservation. The food was good and our server was excellent but would appreciate management looking at their reservation policy even at busy times."

"We have been to Lucky32 multiple times in the past and generally have a positive experience, however, this time, not so much. The waitress took our order, the appetizer came out in normal time and then we waited, and waited, and waited, and eventually the salads came out, then we waited and waited again. It was over an hour before we saw our meals, the steaks were overcooked, however the waitress never showed up to see if everything was ok. Finally at the end of the meal we saw her again, we asked for the check and we started waiting again. Eventually we flagged a manager and he apologized and gave us a few dollars in gift cards. We will try again, but left asking "what just happened""

"Rated everything OK but read between lines. One Sunday we went no reservations. Guy wrote name on sticky note b/c couldn't find paper for names. We were only people waiting. Others came, were seated. we still waited. Finally went to hostess, told our name not on list. My wife looked at them, said "I saw you write our name on sticky note." They continued that we were not on list. We were seated in 5 minutes. Next time, made reservations 7 pm. We got there 6:45, told it would be close to 7 o'clock because busy, told them we were just letting them know we were there. At 7:10 went to podium, asked. Several groups with no reservation, sat with us but were seated. We were seated 7:25. Food /food service/waiter great. Host/hostess need training."

"We celebrated Mothers Day on Saturday at Lucky 32 in Cary. My Mom is preparing to move to Charlotte and wanted to revisit Lucky 32, a restaurant she had stumbled across six years ago when she arrived from California, but hadn't been back to since. We had a very nice brunch. I had made our reservation a week earlier and had requested a quiet corner table due to my Mom's hearing difficulties. We were led to a lovely corner booth in the private dining room and Mom was able to hear and participate in conversation quite easily. Our server was terrific -- upbeat, attentive, and ready with recommendations when asked. The food was marvelous, however, it wasn't always as warm as we wished. Still, we'd recommend Lucky 32."

"Lucky 32 is one of my favorite restaurants, but I was disappointed in my visit on Friday, May 10. My white wine was room temp at best and cost $11.50 (ridiculous)! The "salad" was greens and a very few slivers of carrot and a few sprinkles of sunflower seeds. The restaurant was busy, so I understand that my waiter had other tables, but he was so quick when checking on my table that although I had planned to order some of their fabulous black bean cakes to take home, I never really got the chance. My entree of black bean cakes was delicious--thank goodness for that! For a mediocre dinner & service, the cost was $45 (before tip). Although I do love those black bean cakes, it may be a long time before I return to Lucky 32."

"Lucky 32 is far enough away that I think of it as requiring a "special trip," but I always find it worth it! Tried something new this time, the bourbon-marinated ribeye, and ooh, was it tasty! Also giant enough that I could enjoy it a second time the next day. As someone tried to avoid carbohydrates, I really appreciated the gluten-free menu and the chance to get the pimento cheese appetizer with celery instead of crackers. Yum! Our waiter was a bit too chatty and forgot a few things here and there, but he was good-humored, gave honest recommendations that were really appreciated, and gave excellent service despite the small misses. I'll definitely be back!"

"Fried chicken was one of the listed specialties, but came out warm at best, and greens were overcooked. Cobb salad was also disappointing, and my daughter, who is a schrimp and grits fan, left half the meal on her plate. The outdoor seating was very nice, but that cannot make up for the quality (or lack ) of the food. As much as I really wanted this to become a favorite, will probably not be back any time soon."

"Interesting menu. My steak pasta dish was delicious- tender steak, tomato cheese sauce with dandelion greens. Very rich and creamy. Almost like a cheese-steak pasta. My husband had the salmon which was cooked perfectly. Not overcooked as many restaurants do. Bread to start was crustly and flavorful. Wine was reasonable-- we had a bottle but they do have different sized pours which sounded interesting."

"We have dined at Lucky 32 monthly since moving to Cary about three years ago. The food and service are consistently very good. Our server, Abbey, was attentive and pleasant. Our meals of pork cutlet and salmon were excellent as were the generous sides. We highly recommend Lucky 32 as a reasonably priced restaurant with great food and service."

"While we were attempting a nice "grown ups night out" with friends, others in the restaurant had their kids along for dinner even with a later reservation time. Parents these days seem to have a much more relaxed idea of appropriate restaurant etiquette and the 4 of the kids were allowed to roam the restaurant, running back and forth, doing "cheers", etc. Manners just don't seem to matter as much anymore, and it makes choosing a nice, reasonably priced restaurant like L32 a little riskier since you are forced to balance the risk of others' poor choices with polite behavior. Wait staff was excellent. Food was terrific."

"We had a good experience. They were accomodating to our group of 6. They originally sat us in a booth, and we were uncomfortable, being 6 adults, so we were quickly relocated to a table. Service was good. Food was good. Drinks from the bar took a while. Overall, I'd say we would go back."

"Lucky 32 rarely disappoints. I find it to be a reliable place to go for an upscale dining experience and I like that they frequently update their menu. They always seem to come up with an interesting appetizer or dessert to spice it up. The ambiance is very pleasing. There is a nice bar but it was relatively quiet on this particular evening."

"We've been going to Lucky 32 for Easter brunch for years, and we've always enjoyed our meals. It is always busy during Easter, but the wait time is not long and the food comes out quickly. I love the Southern-inspired menu, but I have to say that my favorite is the pinto beans-chowchow side dish :-) So simple and yet so addicting!"
