"Our most recent visit to Harvest will be the last for our family both as a group and for the members.
Table was not clean. Silver was not clean. Some of the silver was literally stuck to the table. But, based upon previous experience those issues were initially ignored as unusual oversights.
Wait time for food was unacceptable. It turned out that some of the food was served hot, some warm, and some cold...
Portions... some ridiculously small. Keish was extremely small, but accompanying salad overflowing plate ! Somebody in the kitchen at least tried to serve a fulfilling meal...
Quality The sandwiches were overfull, and cold. Wrap was overstuffed, under seasoned, and slathered with something that resembled cheap cheese whiz."

"This restaurant is part of the Hotel Hershey Resort. The entire facility was built in the 1930's and many parts of it look like a movie set - you expect Humphrey Bogart & Ingrid Bergman to be sitting at the next table. Harvest is one of the newer additions and brings to mind a villa in Italy. Booths in dark wood with claret colored damask upholstery, stained glass skylights, mellow colors. The food is priced as you would expect for such a restaurant. Quality is excellent, portions right-sized. Attentive but not obtrusive service. A great special occasion place to eat."

"Set outside the Hotel Hershey, we walked to Harvest. Fortunately the overcast afternoon held off and rain started just as we were leaving our lunch. If weather is potentially a problem, bring an umbrella - as best we could tell - you must walk outside to reach Harvest.
Our server was very attentive and friendly. She explained the history of the menu (all locally grown/cultivated foods) and kept our water glasses filled. The ambiance and setting were very nice: special occasion but not so formal to become stuffy (would've been a problem for our graduate). Our flat spots on the meal were modest: the actual time for serving got long (they apologized) and one burger was rather rare vs the medium ordered. All told, a fine outing."

"Aside from the stellar service, the next best thing is the She Crab soup! We love coming back to Harvest for this soup. The food is also quite delicious. We tried the short ribs and the salmon. We were too full to sample the desserts, but those are usually delicious as well!"

"My family and I had a great experience at Harvest. Amazing drinks, the decor, outstanding service & the killer food. First off the peanut butter martini is a must have along with the she crab soup. For lunch I had the fish n chips which were the best I ever had so light, served with hand cut fries. The desserts were just the right finish to our meal, dessert shooters with all different flavors to choose from. We will be back again! And bringing new friends to enjoy the outstanding Hershey experience."

"Although a bit on the pricier side, the food is absolutely delicious! The presentation is wonderful and the service was well-timed. Our server was great - very friendly and attentive to our needs. A beautiful view overlooking the cottages and countryside in back of the Hotel Hershey. We had scallops for an appetizer and filet mignon for the main course and both were done to perfection. The restaurant decor is very elegant, but we felt very comfortable and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for special occasions!"

"We discovered this restaurant last winter; cozy, warm with a great hearth fireplace in the middle of the room.We went for desserts but so liked the appetizer selections that we ended up choosing those instead, D-licious!!! Harvest was incomparable for dining on Mother's Day ( 8 of us); bright, open and sunny, walls of windows with expansive views of the outdoors, stained glass, exposed beamed ceiling, and so much more in the way of ambience.The scallop appetizers were amazing and the steaks naturally flavorful.Presentation of all courses was sharp and tasty, though we might pass on the dandelion next time.The setting inside and out, is premiere and we highly recommended Harvest as a destination for making any get together a special one."

"I've eaten at Harvest a couple of times, and while my Fiancee has had some good food, I generally walked away disappointed. Last year, we took a guest there for dinner, and were thoroughly unimpressed, with the food and also the service. Especially at the asked price.
So when we went back this time, it was somewhat on a lark. Maybe things will be better?
I'm happy to report, they were. My meal, roasted salmon, was one of the finest I've ever had, and the service was excellent. Even the by-the-glass wine was great.
Given our history with this venue, I'm hesitant to give an unqualified recommendation, but I can't deny, it was truly a great experience."

"The service was friendly but very proffesional, and the food excellent. Our waitress, Katlin, is very good at her job. The portions were a bit too generous for a light eater, so keep a take-home portion in mind when ordering. Wheel chair access was great - wide doorways, gradual ramps, and spacious powder rooms. "I dine at Harvest often and am usually very pleased. However this time I wasn't completely disappointed but a few things to note. First, our server was very friendly but I won't say it was the best service as the food came very slowly and spuratically. I decided to splurge for the Prime Tbone for $55 dollars instead of the choice cut for $40. While the steak was decent I am going to be critical in the fact that if I order a prime steak I expect it to be cooked perfectly (medium rare for my taste). It was overdone on the edges and a bit underdone in the middle. I suspect because it was cooked to quickly because of the back up in the kitchen. Will I go back? Of course, but hopefully to the experience I am used to."

"Harvest is a place you absolutely need to go. The staff is extremely friendly as well. Everything we had was delicious. I love that they had a " farm to table concept." Everything comes from within 150 miles from their restaurant. I have been to many amazing steak places in Philadelphia and the filet I had at Harvest was even better. I was able to taste the She Crab soup and it was out of this world.
For dessert, I had the Peanut Butter pie and it was perfection. I can't say enough about this place. If you come to Hershey you need to stop here or you will be missing out on an amazing experience."

"The service and the server were wonderful. The restaurant was very dark. The menu would make any foodie drool, but unfortunately, the meal itself fell short of expectations. Of biggest note, the steaks, which the server made quite a point to mention that medium-rare would be cool and red in the middle, came out mostly WELL DONE. The sauces were interesting and could not save it; just made it less dry.
The desserts, which we were eagerly anticipating seemed to be pre-made WELL in advance (our reservation was for 6pm to give perspective), and were a bit dried out.
On a positive note, the restaurant did well in catering to our six-year old son, and he loved his fruit cup and cheeseburger."

"All four dinners were lukewarm at best. I did send back to have warmed. (Note: I have NEVER done this before.) Upon return, still not hot enough; however, hot in places of plate, as if it were microwaved. We have been going to Harvest for holidays dinners in recent years, as we consider it special and festive. Easter was disappointment."

"We eat at Harvest each time we stay at the hotel over Easter (and sometimes during the summer). It's my preferred restaurant at the hotel (we tried Trevi this trip after a long time not...and will not do it again). The food is good, the service is good and we hit that sweet spot with few rowdy children :) All in all a good experience."

"We were attending a conference and hoped to get an opportunity to try one of the many restaraunts in around the Hotel Hershey. As we are avid Hockey fans, we ate a delicious meal and then asked the bartender if she could put the Penguin Ice Hockey game on at the bar area...there we stayed and enjoyed the rest of the evening. Everyone was accommodating, the food was delicious, the service impeccable and the restaraunt and view beautiful!... a truly enjoyable experience!"

"We were there as a list minute and got an early reservation. Bar staff was nice and waitress was awesome. Steaks were well done and tasty.
We would return without hesitation. The icing on the cake for us was of course the dessert but also knowing that local products are used and sourced for the the restaurant."

"Fantastic food. The crab dip appetizer was loaded with lump crab meat and the server gave us extra bread, which was needed for the large portion of crab dip we received. Server was very honest in telling us the "prime" steaks were overpriced, which made sense because no steak can be worth $50 for 12 oz. We went with the prime rib and the bistro cut, both of which were amazing. The mac and cheese was nothing special, the roasted vegetables were very good. We plan on going back and will probably try the salmon and dark chocolate pork, both of which our server highly recommended.
Overall 5 out of 5. Food was really outstanding."

"We love the concept of harvest - supporting local seasonal foods. We love that there are vegetarian/ vegan options. We went during restaurant week. Definitely a better deal for non vegetarians. While the vegetarian choice was good, the portion size was rather small (surprising considering it probably cost a lot less than the meat options). Nevertheless, we are fans of the restaurant, we just can't afford to get there often."
