Yosemite Ranch Steak House
We are a full service dinner house featuring high quality wood broiled steaks, fresh fish served a variety of ways, and signature roast house favorites. We have developed a fabulous menu with the quality and flavor of food that surpasses the competition. Our Yosemite theme is represented by the wonderful artwork, wood padded booths, Indian design carpeting, iron chandeliers, rock columns and hammered copper siding, and a redwood tree in the middle of the bar.

"...Just make sure you reserve a table before you show up!! This was our 2nd time here... The quality of the food is better than Tahoe Joe's, but the price is comparable. "Dinner was decent, but even with a reservation we waited 25 minutes before being seated. Maybe there were issues because it was prom night. Not the best introduction to a restaurant; afterall, we selected the restaurant based on reservation availability. The food was good--we had grilled salmon with ponzu sauce and scallops. Salads were average. We liked the ambience because we're Yosemite lovers, but Yosemite Ranch is a large and popular restaurant and noisy. Looks like it would be a great place for happy hour."

"my wife had flank steak its under cooked when she cut it the middle actuallyfell out it was so soft and she said it was not very warm .i had the scallops for the price i wasnt empressed the crab cakes needed to be cooked a litle more crust was kinda bready tasteing cooked a minute more would have crisped it up. used to pismos for sea food .it wasnt as good as im used to"

"My husband and I with some friends very much enjoyed our meal at Yosimite Ranch. Reservations are always necessary here as it is a neighborhood gem and quite popular especially on weekeends. All of our steaks, marinated as they are, were extrordinarily tender and tasty. The Grilled Artichoke appetizer is outstanding and made a huge impression on our guests, who were dining there for the first time. I find their steaks comparable to some of the upscale steak houses, for a more reasonable price."

"My family and I were very excited about trying this restaurant! We had relatives visiting from out of state and wanted to treat them to something special. After checking out the website, which featured the menu and a video from the owner, we thought this would be a great place.
Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as expected. Our waitress was probably the nicest I've ever had; very friendly, attentive and accurate with our order. The food was not good though. Our steaks were cooked properly, but a bit salty/over seasoned and were thin with a lot of inedible fat. The green beans and potato "smasher" (I think they call it) served as the sides were cold, as if they'd been sitting a while.
Sadly, it's just ok... and definitely not worth the pric"

"The food was off-the-charts fabulous! The steaks were cooked to perfection and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The service was excellent. It was nice to have reservations available on-line so we didn't have to wait long at all. There was not a single complaint about anything from any members of our group (4). "We went there for our anniversary and it was just to loud we could not even hear each other talk. The kind of crowd that this place attracts are middle age drinkers and partiers that pay no mind to anyone trying to enjoy a dinner. If you like to drink and be very loud this is the place for you. If you trying to enjoy a dinner look elsewhere."

"Our waitress made our experience wonderful. Don't remember her name but I do remember that she got a dent on her brand new car and she fixed it by herself. It was my Dad's birthday. He has been in the auto industry for many years and he was definitely impressed by her willingness to share and her great demeanor. Thank you for making his birthday memorable."

"This place was Amazing! Food, service, and the ambiance was great. A tid bit of advice is to make sure you make an appointment on the weekend. Good thing I used opentable because it was a busy evening. We were seated right away and even though it was busy we got our food quickly. Excellent place for a date, or for a girls night out. I will definatly be coming back!!! P.S the bacon wrapped filet mignon was to die for!"

"My hubby and I went out to Yosemite Ranch for a belated Valentine's Day dinner. We ordered the grilled artichoke, calamari, and scallops. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was knowledgeable with any of our questions. She even brought us a tasting of our choice of wine before we made a final decision.
Spent only a short time at the bar but the staff was just as great!"

"We went there for our 1year anniversary and it was amazing. We had the santa maria ranch 10oz. W/ prawns. It came with a dinner salad, golden mashed potatoes, and rice pilaf. The side were awesome but the steak was amazing and perfectly cooked and rested. I aam a bit of a meat snob and this was one of the best peices of meat i have ever had. Also it was happy hour and we got 25oz. Blue moons for $5, crazy cheap for that kind of place. Our waiter (chris) was very nice amd knowledgeable, he knew the menu and food very well. I am from portland where good food is always just around a corner. Fresno/clovis they are far and few, this is my new favorite place is the area."

"It took long to get a refill of my coffee after our Ventine's dinner because it was still brewing and we had to leave. Otherwise, our waitress gave us excellent service, the place is fantastic, our steaks were awesomely delicious and perfectly cooked to our expectations, and reservation on-line was a great help. Otherwise, the wait would have been long since it was packed. We will be back for more dining!"
