Sometimes a restaurant is born that creates a whole new standard, a restaurant that embraces tradition but appeals to entirely different tastes in a new culture to become a timeless classic. Tawa is such a restaurant.
Tawa is made up of two restaurants in one, the Bread Bar and Upstairs. The Bread Bar is a place to meet and greet, with bar stools and an open kitchen that allows people to watch the creation of their food, mingle and enjoy a light snack, finger food and small plates with drinks or wine by the glass. Upstairs is just that, an "upstairs" dining experience that is refined, elegant, and mysterious. A space for Chef Roy to continue his quest to change attitudes by creating magical dishes that alter how his customers think about food.

"AMAZING FOOD! Authentic high quality Indian food, but also so fabulously perfect for foodies that non-Indians will love it.
Mango lassies are at the perfect consistency.
There is a lunch buffet for $11 which even includes pre-determined but fabulously sweet dessert!
Definitely planning on making this a regular stop when I am in town in the future, visiting friends."
