"The food was absolutely incredible. My party of 10 was absolutely impressed. The servers were totally accommodating and delivered an excellent experience."

"Blackstone's is very attractive but our overall dining experience was disappointing due to poor service and average food. Our salads took forever to arrive, the breadbasket was not refilled, our steaks were overlooked, the side dishes were average, no sauces were offered, and the prices are high. Blackstone's does not in anyway compare to a top level New York steak house, nor does it rate with Joseph's in Brigeport which never disappoints."

"The service was fair at best. The waiter spoke English but was not very attentive to our special requests. The busboy did not speak any English at all. The prices are high and the quality of the food was adequate and did not warrant the prices."

"Very above average staeak for this part of the state and plenty to choose from. Wine last has surprise of Barbi wine and opening lollipop lambchops is a must.
Bar is small and not too mane "stools", so plan on drinks at the table.
Our server knew the menu, made great recommendations and added to the evening."

"Classic unique place especially given its location in a somewhat off color part of Norwalk. Great dining area, good ambience/decor, and the food and service is first rate. Not cheap however, especially the steaks which at around $45 seem to be a bit steep. Because I can cook a USDA Grade A steak on the grill for a quarter of the price I usually end up having fish! May be they should offer some lesser priced beef alternatives but of course that may defeat their objective of being a first rate steakhouse. But overall a delighful, memorable dining experience. They also mix great martinis and offer a first rate wine list as well. Hats off to our last waiter George of Montenegro who kept us laughing all night!"

"Forgot receipt when I left so asked restaurant several times to mail it to me but each time, they kept asking me to call at 10 am the next day and to talk to someone else, even though that was very inconvenient for me since I was travelling... Very rude considering it was sizeable bill that I spent.."

"For what ever reason had rib eye steak and had a feeling may have frozen the beef from night before. Had waiter take back because really rare and asked them to turn up the flame to MR. Still really tough and my son and wife took a taste and agreed. Reason reached out to them my mother was the queen of sending things back to the kitchen. Wanted to get their take. Agreed. Don't freeze the meat. Nice environment nice people. Tidbit to share with them. Pricey place and want return business."

"We selected the restaurant for our anniversary dinner. It is a newer restaurant and looked nice on line. I ordered the sirloin and my wife ordered the filet both were the most expensive cuts on the menu. My cut was on the tough side and she thought hers was too dry. The total meal was in excess of $200 and that included a shared hors devours, two glasses of wine, two side dishes but no coffee or dessert. We thought it was too expensive for the quality and will not be back. It is a pleasant enough place so we will suggest it as an alternative for those seeking a steak house."

Review 13 for Blackstones Steakhouse - Connecticut
"I know valentines day is very hectic for restaurants so I was prepared to be very lenient. Unfortunately I was not impressed. It looked like they forgot it was going up be extra crowded. The wait staff was all over the place and it was a free for all and it showed especially with the attitude we saw. We must of had 6 different people wait on us which gets annoying when asked if you have ordered yet 6 different times. We got stuck with a table right near the door and kept getting knocked into. The wine was ridiculously over-priced. The food was pretty good and enjoyable for the most part. I wouldn't recommend this place. Save some money and go to a place with a better wait staff and environment."

"It was the first time dining at this steakhouse for my husband and I and when we walked in we loved the ambiance! The waiter was friendly and helpful and assisted in wine choices and dinner selections. We will definitely return, but with friends."

Review 16 for Blackstones Steakhouse - Connecticut
"Good food, but not the stellar steak house that reviews have made it out to be. Also it's too pricey for Fairfield County - they're charging NYC prices for good, not great food. Entrees don't come with any sides - be prepared to spend an extra $7-10 for veggies, potatoes or salad. There is a good wine selection."

"We enjoyed another evening at Blackstones. The filet mignon was tender and flavorful. My seared tuna was cooked perfectly. Caesar salad (which we split) was flavorful with a freshly sliced piece of cheese on it. Lucas, our waiter, always makes the experience festive."

Review 20 for Blackstones Steakhouse - Connecticut
"I have eaten here a handful of times and always been pleased. I am writing today because i just took my two children with me for the first time and the staff was excellent about it. My children are 9 and 6 and well behaved. They are however picky eaters at times. UThe waiter was happy to make suggestions and accommodate all requests. The children's food was as tasty and elegantly presented as my own. Thank you for the wonderful experience."
