On The Verandah
..on the Verandah inspires with American Fusion Fine Dining in Highlands' most scenic setting overlooking Lake Sequoyah. Featuring a unique array of appetizer and entrée recipes from the world over - the fine cuisines of Asia, Europe and the Americas are represented. We use the freshest ingredients available, including locally-grown produce and fresh seafood daily. Menu items include chicken, fresh seafood, Char-Grilled Angus Beef and Chops, pasta and children's menu.
After dinner, indulge in one of our many desserts, made in-house.
Come sample a Highlands tradition - Sunday champagne brunch from 11am - 2pm.
Stop by the Dugout Bar for a small plate, appetizer and a cocktail, beer or glass of wine! Relax with friends after work, before dinner and through the evening.

"We had a business dinner for 5 and the dinner and service could not have been better. Gregory our server was wonderful to wok with and very knowledgable and helpful with the menu. The chef/owner recommended a great bottle of wine that went well with all the different selections. Our new favorite place to eat in Highlands."

"My wife and I had Mothers Day brunch at the Verandah an it was wonderful. The food selection was good and the preparation was excellent. The service was top notch. The atmosphere on the outside Verandah overlooking the lake is great. I would definitely recommend the Verandah for Sunday Brunch or any special occasion."

"On The Verandah is a must do when we visit the Highlands area. We stopped by an hour before they opened for dinner due to conflicts with our reservation. Rather than accept our regretful cancellation they opened the kitchen early, ushered us to the best table on the verandah and prepared an absolutely delightful meal for us. The wine, the food, the service and the ambiance were all fantastic. One more indelible memory for us On The Verandah!"

"Lovely brunch with a fixed price menu. Note that alcohol isn't served until noon on Sunday, so you may want to wait 'til then so you can enjoy that Mimosa!"

"Quite honestly we expected more from this restaurant. The setting is lovely and the view from our table was wonderful. However, the food was just OK. The cornmeal fried blue crab claws were interesting but certainly not over the top. My husband ordered the pan fried black pepper crusted angus rib eye. The end cut of the rib eye was laden with gristle and should not have been plated. I ordered the Maine Lobster Picatta which was fine but not really memorable."
