"I've been here a few times and I've always been happy with the quality of the food and, for the most part, the service. I chose to take my mother here for Mother's Day, and was a bit disappointed. $300 for dinner and drinks for 3 people: Food: Good, but not great. Chicken was a little dry, but the dishes are all unique and flavorful, but a little muted flavors. I would recommend anything with lamb and the small plates particularly. Drinks: Expensive, but good (though not great). Limited wine selection, but one that fit the menu. Service: Fair - not up to expectations for the price of the food.
I will be going back, but probably not for a special occasion...a great place to meet friends for dinner, though, good atmosphere and good food."

"We love Greek, Turkish and Lebanese small plate dining and Lola offers a high end version of that with great spreads and kebabs (try the haloumi and fig one!). Been there before and will come back again and will have their super-airy mini doughnuts for dessert (again) - just hope I can have Greek coffee next time, seems weird that's not available when ouzo and retsina is?"

"We had lunch outside - It was a beautiful day and the dining area was flooded with sunshine. The appetizer with multiple spreads and pita was a delight - so many different flavors. The grilled squid was good. I like a bit more spice and heat which this selection did not have. The Italian Pinot Gris was awesome especially outside in the sun!"

"We visited Lola during Restaurant Week so it was slammed. The servers did great, and the kitchen was working hard. Unfortunately the food they had to work with was too high concept and sparse to support the prices. I had the pork chops, which were sliced so thin one could not detect the pork flavor, only the oil and herbs. My companion had the lamb which had been so thoroughly sliced and processed as to make it indistinguishable from chipped beef. Desserts were ok, though a bit odd. Appetizers were excellent, particularly the Dolmadies. Lola should stick to Greek and stop trying to be trendy. Next time I'll go to the Dahlia Lounge."

"Many have heard rave reviews about Lola's donuts, and although they live upto the hype, I'm writing this review based on their AMAZING eggs benedict. I've never been a huge lover of bennies, but this dish changed my mind. Lola's benny is that on which I will judge all future bennies, and I fear most will fall short. And the jalepeno-infused Bloody Marys are nothing I'll soon forget either. As for service, we arrived early for our reservation, and Lola patrons are treated to the lobby of the adjoining hotel to await seating - much more comfortable than any other wait I've had at a restaurant!! We were seated on time, and our server went above and beyond to explain key menu items and make suggestions. A wonderful birthday brunch!"

"I enjoyed the food here very much, it was the best food I have eaten in a long time. The service was great. The family style dishes were an excellent conversation piece for my date. However, we were sat across from the wait staff's supply counter, so there was a lot of traffic by the staff right next to us, which was distracting and also not a very pleasant seating view. There was no barrier to the area and multiple staff were there at the same time. I had requested romantic and quiet seating online so was displeased to have been sat directly across from the wait staff supply area."

"Everything was delish and the service was superb! Had been dying to try Lola, one of the few Tom Douglas restaurants that I did not already count among my faves... did not disappoint. Seattle Restaurant Week was the perfect opportunity to try it out - had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly! Crispy skin, medium rare but not mushy. Also had the chocolate hazelnut torte with orange ice cream for dessert, it was divine. YUM!"

"Treated my wife and I to a Sunday breakfast at Lola. It was outstanding. The service was outstanding -- our server was always there when we needed him and never when we didn't. The food was similarly excellent. On our server's recommendation I had the Tom's Big Breakfast -- poached egg, peppers and veggies, octopus and garlic yogurt. The flavors blended together well and the octopus was very tender, not rubbery at all. I was skeptical but it won me over. I would go again in a heartbeat."

"Ok, it's almost ridiculous for me to review Lola. It has been my favorite restaurant for at least 5 years. Never (EVER) had a bad meal there and this was no exception. Started with the octopus appetizer (changes every season) and it was great. My bride had the beet salad (it was huge) and loved it. We split an entree (greek sausage with orzo--plenty for two) and it was superb. Added an order of smashed potatoes and we were all set. Service by Kevin was outstanding as it always is at Lola. We love Tom Douglas' restaurants but we really love Lola. Can't wait for the new Asian fusion Tanaka-san to open."

"This was my third experience with Lola in the last 6 years and definitely my last visit. Although the restaurant has always been expensive, it's now reached the point where the food quality isn't enough to justify the cost. Although some dishes were great (octopus salad and the dips with pita), others were sad for the cost ( pork and beef kabobs)and others were fine but not great(Greek salad, chocolate torte). The service was good, and they did take the pork kabobs off our check when we noted that one was gristly and the others were overdone (the pieces of meat are tiny so easily overcooked). We have always liked the atmosphere there, so that is not a problem."

"Food was delicious. Had a few appis (baked feta and a bread/dip), Jackie's salad and the chicken, lamb and veggie kabob. Wish our waitress had told us the salad had a huge chunk of feta since we ordered the baked feta as an appi. OVER CHEESED! Bread never came with the salad as promised. Waitress was a bit off that night because we waited alot between courses. We each finished a cup of coffee before desserts were served. Still she did not ruin the evening, just kept our rating down."

"I never go to Seattle without enjoying brunch or lunch here! The fresh made pita bread with their pork kabobs and the greek salad is my favorite lunch! The eggs benidict or the golden pancakes w/vanilla bean mascarpone are brunch musts! I marked "scenic view" as I love the location...surrounded by beautiful buildings and trees, this is the perfect "city" view...the interior reminds me of a NYC restaurant, dark wood booths and tile floor and the view is definatly Seattle as you look out the 2 story windows...its like being in NYC and Seattle at the same time...nice!"

"The food and the service were superb. We had a couple of spreads--delicious as usual, a nicely prepared black cod, a side of brussel sprouts and the classic Greek Spaghetti. All tasty dishes. The wine list here needs to be updated. They do some pours by the glass --unexciting stuff --but given the flavorful nature of the food, the wine offerings disappoint. We always enjoy Lola, but my fear is it is becoming a bit too formulaic."

"I'm an avid Brunch fan and was blown away by the Bloody Marys (with jalepano infused vodka) and Eggs Benedict (with dill hollandaise). They were truly delicious. My friend made me try the goat cheese turnovers as well- they were fantastic and surprisingly not too tart."

"As always, the food and drink at Lola was exceptional! We had late reservations, but were able to squeeze in a little earlier - which just gave us more time to enjoy!
We love the skewers at Lola - tonight's selection was Haloumi and Fig, Salmon, and Pork with Honey-Harissa glaze. All succulent and amazing. The Sidecars we chose to go with our food were potent and delicious. The service was, as usual, extraordinary.
Lola is one of our favorites when we visit Seattle - you should give it a try!"

"Thank you for another great lunch experience. My party of 5 celebrated a co-worker's birthday that day. I was pleased to find our table was ready when we arrived as I know Lola's is a favorite lunch spot. The platter of dips with pita bread had taste sensations for every person at our table. What that anchovy-adverse didn't try I happily consumed. Several in my party were pleasantly surprised to find they could still order breakfast items, and were able to satisfy their 'egg' cravings. Thanks again!"
