"My fiancee and I went for her belated birthday celebration. With a table for two at the big street-front window, we had a great view of the Puget Sound. The halibut with fried rice was delicious, as were the crab cakes with asparagus and fries. The cocktails were also refreshing and well prepared. Overall it was a great experience."

"We love seafood and what a treat at Etta's; a delicious and new treatment for salmon, the special rub gave a wonderful smoky flavor. Since a trip to Hawaii some years ago I've had a taste for grilled tuna and Etta's grilled albacore is sublime! wait friendly staff was around and the right time but not at all intrusive. We're already thinking about our next visit."

"We dine at Etta's often and always have a wonderful experience! The wait staff is wonderful, friendly, obliging and knowledgeable! I am allergic to gluten and dairy and the chef went above and beyond to accomadate my needs! I also have a 20 month old daughter and again the staff is amazing with her even if she decides to have a "terrible 2s" tantrum!"

"We went for Mother's Day -- first time visit for everyone in our party. Four out of six chose the Dungeness Crab Eggs Benedict. We all enjoyed the tasty dish; pretty generous with the fresh dungeness crab, too! Their home fries were pretty tasty as well, but I chose to substitute fresh fruit for the fries and was glad they were willing to make the switch. Very pretty presentation on the fruit, although would have liked some seasonal melon instead of sliced apple and pear. The other two in our group chose fish and chips and chicken and chips. They ate up all the fish and chicken, so I assume they enjoyed their meal too. . Service was good, though not "great"( Never was offered refills on my coffee.) I would go back again, however."

"I had a relative and his family visiting from Houston and they wanted seafood, a view and to be able to get there on light rail. Ettas, one of my favorites, fit the bill. My uncle had halibut, his relatives had crab salad and crab cakes and we have lovely wine. Reservations were right on time. I would say that crab salad could be slightly larger....
All in all lovely."

"Quality of food relative to cost not good. Had the Gumbo @ $25 which was short on seafood - may qualify as a starter. Service was OK. On the plus - close to Pike Place Market - which also allows one to go across the street to Cutters. At least one has a view."

"VERY disappointed - it's a tourist trap really, everyone should get the special salmon which was dry and flavorless; my halibut was also over-cooked, the oysters are ridiculously expensive and small, and the appetizer mussels barely reached halfway up the bowl. Off the list."

"We made a short notice reservation. When we got there, we were seated right away and informed of menu items unavailable. The service was attentive and quick. The food was very tasty and well presented. The winelist gives you plenty of options. We enjoyed the view, the friendly atmosphere and the outstanding food. We'll be back!"

"Etta's is becoming my favorite Seattle breakfast place. First time I dined here I had the crab cake Benedict, very yummy and just the right taste of decadence. This time I had the Pikes' Place scramble, with asparagus and herbs. YUMMY! a little lighter than the Benedict, however I asked for the habanero ketchup, which is served with the corned beef hash, but is amazing on the home fries. They brought it with not even a sideways glance, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hubby enjoyed the shrimp and grits, and I was soooo jealous as it was very tasty! (and I ususally hate grits)
Close to the Market, so check it out for breakfast before you get your fresh fish!"

"We made a reservation through Open Table for Etta's Seafood and recieved an confirmation from the restaurant for the time and date of the reservation. However, when we arrived at Etta's, the staff would not honor our reservation - the reason given was that the reservation confirmation was a "mistake". Although we live close to this restaurant, we will not go back since we don't want to chance another "mistake"."

"Salad had way too much dressing. Salmon was cooked perfectly and flavored well. Bundt cake was overcooked and dry. Timing was problematic, with entree arriving about half way through salad course. Service was excellent, other than timing problem."

"It was Seattle Restaurant week and they always have a wonderful menu. Their salmon is wonderful! They served less food this time in regards to dessert. They used to serve full portions but now have 'samples'. While I certainly had enough food to eat, the same creme pie was a little too small for me!"

"I went for a late lunch so it wasn't crowded at all or loud. I wasn't planning on hitting up Etta's for Seattle Restaurant Week but did out of the blue because I had some extra time before my next appointment. I'm SO glad I did! The food was delicious and their "Rub with Love" is amazing! Definitely will have to come back with my parents when they are in town!"

"Restaurant was very good. Problem was with the "fine print" of the Seattle Restaurant Week (online & brochure). We thought we had read all of the exclusions, etc. but after arriving on a Sunday afternoon, were told that Sunday lunch was not included in the promo. Manager showed us the VERY fine print on the brochure....Sheesh. She said that she tells them every year to make it more easily understandable. She did comp us a piece of pie, which was nice. I think the Seattle Restaurant Week will make some enemies if they don't extend this to all meals or make it very obvious."

"We had a good dinner, but I think I expected more from a Tom Douglas restaurant. I had crab cakes which were nice, but nothing really special. My companion had the mixed seafood fry up: too much heavy batter, not enough flavour. I think I prefer some of his other restaurants, especially Lola, over this touristy waterfront location."
