"The food was good, but the server was very inefficient and slow. Took way too long to bring us the bill and we he did, it took forever for him to get the credit card to pay the bill. We got up and gave the payment to another server to take care of."

"I go to Amerigo about once per quarter for lunch with co-workers, and it's always a wonderful experience. Quick, friendly service and delicious food make this place a go-to for us. I recommend their lunch combination meals, they're a great deal!"

"We took my mother there for her birthday and "she enjoyed her evening". The service was nice and every employee that greeter her wished her a happy birthday (nice extra step by the staff). My wife and I have always recommended this location and will continue to do so."

"We have frequented Amerigo's in Nashville and Jackson, MS, and had an excellent experience to the extent it is our favorite restaurant. During a recent visit to Memphis we decided to continue the tradition for a birthday celebration and experience this location for the first time. To make a long story short, the server absolutely killed the experience. Instead of spending the special evening enjoying the food and ambiance, we spent it noting the numerous ways in which our server clearly didn't care to be there, or make any effort whatsoever to deliver the level of excellent service we had experienced at the other locations. It us uncertain if we will ever go here again."

"My significant other and I wanted to try a new restaurant for our anniversary. We reserved ahead of time, but as we walked in we were seated immediately on a Friday evening. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable, sweet and on target. He kept our drinks filled and hot bread on the table as we waited for our entrees to come out. The ambience was awesome. The lighting was just dim enough to enjoy your dinner with whom ever you were eating with. I tried the three cheese tortellini with crab and it was divine!! Perfection in every bite! Our service was incredible and we will definitely be returning soon!"

"Overall, our experience at Amerigo was good. It did take a while to receive our food once we ordered but the restaurant was very busy. Our waiter was also busy but was extremely apologetic about being so. The cheese fritters, chicken tuscany and chicken margarite were all very yummy. The waiter was so overwhelmed that he forgot to put in my husband's soup order, but it ended up being fortunate because my husband was stuffed. We will be visiting Amerigo again in the future."

"We had enjoyed our Sunday brunch enough we returned Friday to see how dinner was - We were not disappointed. Arriving late for our reservation the hostess (who we had called prior to the reservation) was understanding and accommodating. After we were seared the service just got better.
The food was great and had a taste you "want to come back for!".
We left as you should after a Friday "date night"dinner - Relaxed and energized after a week of work! We highly recommend if you are looking for something better than oh-yum at a good price."

"Overall, this is the best Italian food we've had since moving to Memphis from the New York metropolitan area. And given the fact we're used to good Italian food, that's saying something. The margerita pizza is especially good - if you like thin crust (which we do!). The other dishes were excellent as well. You should definitely make a reservation though - it gets busy at night."
