"Really enjoyed this restaurant. I had the crab cakes and the lobster salad for my entree. Hubby had the pear salad and the elk tenderloin for his choices. People at the next table had the yellow tomato soup with pasta that looked wonderful. Wish I had had that! All food was plated beautifully and tasted great. We were too full for dessert so I cannot comment on that."

"We've avoided going to Geronimo because we didn't think it could possibly be THAT good. We've taken a few cooking classes with Chef Johnny V. and have come to respect his opinion. Last week he insisted that we go to Geronimo so we finally caved.
We were completely impressed and had one of the best 3 meals ever. Yes, it is definitely THAT good. The food was positively amazing and we look forward to returning.

"I'm a former restaurant professional (French trained Saucier ... who know owns a distillery) and I eat out quite a bit. I have dozens of world-class chefs that I call friends too. I am a tough critic even of restaurants I like. I also amost never bother to post a review of a restaurant ...
This was our first visit to Geronimo but we'll be back. They simply did not miss a beat. The food was excellent, the service was excellent and ambience was nice, the wine list was good ... one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I simply can't say more about how impressed I was with this restaurant!"

"The problem was they brought the first course while we were drinking out martinis and the second course before we ordered our wine. We had to send back the food so we could order the wine. Then they aked if they should just keep the food warm. We said "no, please recook our order". The food was wonerful but the service and the timing were off."

"My experience at Geronimo exceeded my expectations in every way. Having ventured in 45 minutes prior to my reservation; my companion and I were escorted to the very quaint bar. The service provided by at the bar as well as at our table was superb. Every request taken into consideration. The food was glorious and the courses spaced just right. The restaurant's manager, Chris, was sharp, visible and clearly maintains a tight ship without any sense of stuffiness. I was delighted to have the experience and would absolutely recommend Geronimo's to anyone venturing to Santa Fe. A must experience."

"My wife and I recently ate at Geronimo during our stay in Santa Fe. We had reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived. We were given a table in the back of the restaurant, which at first I was not terribly happy about but made for great people watching. We were greeted by two different servers who both friendly and knowledgable. The wine recommendation was great, a pinot noir whose name slips my mind at the moment.
I had a wasabi caesar salad for my appetizer and my wife had a field green and beet salad. Both were great and the portions were larger than I would have expected. For our entrees I had the prawns and my wife had the elk tenderloin. Everything was tremendous, but you pay for it."

"Love this place for special occasions or bringing guests from out of town. The food is out of this world and service is impeccable. We have always enjoyed Geronimo's and will continue doing so. Our dinner on Saturday night consisted of, my favorite, the Elk, which while I love to cook, I have not come close to being able to duplicate the flavor and tenderness and my husband had the salmon which was cooked to perfections. We started out with the wasabi caesar salad that the mild taste of wasabi was not overwhelming and the rice croutons added to the uniqueness of this dish. Overall, it is always a treat to come and dine here."

"By whatever scoring you choose this restaurant is PERFECT! From the moment we walked in you could tell this would be a singular dining experience. We went for my wife's 67th Birthday. We decided to go for her Birthday. It is a quietly elegant experience for a great meal or special occasion. The service was professional and attentive without being intrusive. The noise level was what you would expect for fine dining. (I told my wife there was very little chatter and no clatter!) The presentations were artistic, inviting and the food was delicious. The decor was modern but elegant. The electronic music was well below conversation level and not intrusive. The seating was comfortable and at no time did we feel rushed. Anyway, we liked it! ETS"

"Geronimo did not live up to it's reputation as one of the top places to dine in Santa Fe, not because of the food, but the overall dining experience. If you are not "somebody" you get the cold shoulder from the wait staff. Need I say more."

"I live in Santa Fe and have tried most places around town. This was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. I would put it on par with any NY, DC or Napa fine dinning establishment. I ordered the wine pairing and it was spot on. They knocked it out of the park with 4 wines I have never tasted but loved. I ate a vegetarian meal, which is rarely done well at other places, but it was varied, interesting and delicious. We didn't order the elk, but others at the table next to us were raving about the tenderness and taste. I'll go back for the elk another night. This place pays attention to detail, from the attentive service to the amazing food to the effortless valet parking. It was a night to remember. Best meal this year."

"Geronimo is always outstanding, but I love the balmy summer evenings on the portal (patio) looking up Canyon Road and people watching. On a recent Friday evening we enjoyed a gallery stroll, followed by dinner on the portal where several tables nearby were celebrating birthdays and anniversaries. We all exchanged glad tidings and offered oneanother advice on other great places to go, see, do in and around Santa Fe. The wine list always offers a chance to try something new, which often leads to me ordering a case from my favorite wine merchant. The food, of course, is what Geronimo os most famous for and the chef always delivers to perfection. Get out and enjoy the ambiance this summer!"

"Yes, tables are a little too close and you can't help hearing your neighbor's entire conversation. Other than that, the food is truly amazing. Greatest roasted beet salad ever. Could've stopped with that and been happy! Twin lobster tail beautifully presented and has a completely unique flavor with a little kick. Definitely ask to be seated in the younger waiter's section. He knows the menu inside and out and takes the time to explain every detail. Older waiter does not offer a thing -- just asks if you have any questions."

"My wife and I chose Geronimo for her birthday this past Friday.It was certainly the right choice.The food was fantastic,service friendly and professional,and the restaurant was lovely.
The wine list is reasonably priced for such a "high end"establishment,with a good by-the-glass selection in addition to a decent array of bottles.
Geronimo is happy to split plates.We shared 3 apps/salads and 1 entree between the two of us,which worked perfectly.

"If you are looking for a truly memorable dining experience - you owe it to yourself to go to Geronimo. I have dined there over the years every time I visit Santa Fe and it never fails to deliver a first class dining experience from the minute you walk up to the door till you pay your check.
