Cacharel is one of Dallas-Fort Worth's premier restaurants. Cacharel has charmed and delighted diners for over 20 years and is located in Arlington, Texas on East Lamar Boulevard atop the 9th Floor of the Brookhollow II Tower. We are 5 minutes from DFW Airport and fifteen minutes from downtown Dallas or Fort Worth.
Panoramic views including on a view of the new Dallas Cowboy's Stadium and Six Flags Over Texas, award-winning dinning, and original cuisine all set in a unique atmosphere overlooking the city. Cacharel offers a wide selection of steaks and seafood, with something for everyone.
Private rooms are available with panoramic views for corporate and business functions, banquets, receptions, parties, weddings, rehearsal dinners, galas and special events.

The menu layout allows diners to choose the most desirable options without worrying about excessive price differences. "The food was not warm but it was overcooked. Can you say dry over cooked fish? We had both the salmon and halibut; my husband had the pork and felt the sauce was a little off. We were a table of 6 and the comments when I asked my guests how their meal was came back as: it's okay; unexciting, not much flavor. The service wasn't great either. No one came to refill. Food was delivered to the table at different times: 3 got theirs & 3 didn't; the wait was long enough that we told the three to start because we didn't want theirs to get cold. Was really looking forward to the soufflé but it turned out over cooked and dry!"

"Excellent dinner! We started with the endive salad and scallops appetizers. The scallops were amazing. For the main course we tried the salmon and pork chop. The chop was huge and well prepared. The salmon was also cooked to perfection. The deserts were good, nothing special. One issue was we were not offered coffee or tea at the end. Other than that an excellent meal in a nice restaurant."

"Cacharel is a gem. We almost always get the price-fixed dinner ($50) with your choice of soup/salad, entree and dessert. We had their delicious mushroom soup, duck and a souffle. My only comment would be that the duck should have been accompanied by a potato dish (their scalloped potatoes are to die for) or the little carrot souffles they used to serve. Overall, great evening ... our favorite restaurant for a special occasion."

"Number one at a restaurant is the food. Quality of ingredients and preparation were both of the highest standard. Next is service. The entire staff was very informative, non-intrusive and knew every detail of the menu and the offerings from the wine cellar and bar. Ambiance is next and again top notch. Appointments were high quality and the view is also very enjoyable. Convenience; parking is plentiful and access to the restaurant is quick with good signage leading the way. One of the top dining experiences in the Metroplex."

"Our first visit was a hit. The staff is laid back and not intrusive, the accoustics are good so you can hear a conversation, the view of Arlington is great and the food was amazing. The Escargo appitizer was unusual and got our attention right away. The scallop was the best I have ever tasted and the Endive salad was a hit with my wife. The Buffalo tenderloin was delicious rare and well done. I am rather picky about green beans, especially when fresh and crispy. These were great. The bananas foster souffle was unique and impressive. The chochlate souffle was good but not attention grabbing. The Irish Cream brulle was smooth and the flavor just exploded. We were definitely impressed and look forward to our next visit"

Their regular service is now priced as their special occasion, like Valantine's Day, but their main portions are getting smaller. A very nice place, but priced above its value. "This is a nice place but it is extremely overprice for the quality of the food and the service they offer. They do make an effort but they have a very short menu so the waiters are hyper trained and they sound like robots, all to make it look classy but in stead it comes trough just as overpriced. You can eat just a cross the highway for friendlier service and same quality and a lot better price. The place is tacked away in the 9Th floor of an office building, that should have been our death give away or what to expect. I won't be going back."

"i didnt like that they were only offering a valentines WEEKEND menu and you HAD to only use that menu..there was no option to use the regular menu. I actually spent more than i anticipated because of that, but over all it was a nice experience."

"We have eaten at Cacharel many times over the past 20 years and have usually been quite impressed with the experience. However, in our latest visit (Valentine's Day) we both agreed that the food, although good, has gone down over the past few years in both taste and portion size. Also, the lights had been dimmed to a level that I was having difficulty reading the menu or even seeing the food. Given the price of the meal and the portions that we received I doubt that we will return."

"We really enjoyed the Valentine's menu the night we went. We ordered cocktails first, and our server was very obliging about holding off on bringing the first course until we were almost finished with our drinks (they were very good). Service was attentive but not rushed - much appreciated on such a busy night. We enjoyed the guitar music, and our server very kindly took a request to the musician who obliged in spades. Food was delicious and beautifully presented as always."

"Maybe to my own demise, I picked Cacharel for Valentine's dinner. I picked it after seeing the Conde Nast article featuring the 100 most romantic restaurants in the states. The reservation was easy to get and my wife and I were excited. Unfortunately, we left underwhelmed. The ambiance was nice, quiet, dimly lit. The view would be nice during the day; not a lot of pretty lights on Cowboy Stadium... The crowd was, not to be rude, on the older side. Our server was very green, maybe his first week, maybe his first night. He forgot stuff and was clumsy. The food was good, not great, but when the bill rang in at 2 hundy, I felt a little let down. Dessert was good and we were able to clank our glasses to romance. So overall, meh."

"The food and ambiance were incredible!!! We would go back. Our waiter was ok but seemed distracted. It was however valentine's day and we knew they had already served over 600 guests that day. Service was not bad just not attentive to detail, but another waiter stepped in and brought his A game. I will definitely reccomend it and will be back many times!!"

"A generally special occasion spot for us, the rush of getting them out the door was certainly felt this time round. We were no longer seated when the appetizer was presented. The lamb which we both ordered was tough to the point of almost being sent back.
Finally, although we know this is an upscale restaurant with upscale prices, it would have been nice to know before hand how much the meal would cost as it was higher than usual.
Overall, we still enjoy the ambiance, background music and food in general,but we'll stay away for the "mass" occasions."

"Cacherel is just one of those special places....where people don't come in jeans or shorts...just a different world in today's restaurant scene...a hidden gem in Arlington. From the greeting to the last goodbye, there is attention to detail. The ambiance is perfect if you have the right table. The tables at the entrance are not desireable for an intimate dinner. You need to request a quiet area over looking the ballpark to savor the entire experience. Waiters don't carry plates up to their elbows, there is not banging and clanging or rushing. The menu is simple but every dish excellent. The price is a tad high for the actual food delivered so we don't go as often as we'd like. Top notch service. Beautiful live music on Valentine's."

"Cacharel is starting to show it's age. We decided to do an early Valentines lunch there and in day light it really looks old and tired. Service was good as ever. Both our baked chicken dishes were dry and rubbery, but the Grand Marnier souffle saved the day! Perfection!"
