"This is a nice little restaurant, great location (wish we could have sat outside but it was too cold), the service was great and the food was ok, not spectacular, but definitely worth a second visit to try other items on the menu. Had one of the items on the appetizer menu, the salmon cakes, and they were terrific!"

"Pita appetizer was very good. Service was slow because it was crowded and only one waitress was on duty; however she was wonderful. I had the lamb riblets which were neither tender or tasty. I've had some good and some not so good meals there before but I think this will be my last. Too many other great places in San Carlos."

"The lamb was dry and not very tasty. Three of us had the lamb. One of us had fish, which he loved. The spreads for the pita bread appetizers were good, not great. $20 corkage fee is too high."

"While we felt the service, prices and ambiance were very good, my husband was disappointed with the taste of his main course (lasagna). After tasting it, I agree--it was over spiced (oregano) and salty. My chicken linguine was far superior, although also saltier than how we eat at home. The salad ingredients were excellent, although I felt it was a bit over-dressed. And I'm not normally this critical."

"We have tried this restaurant twice and have been disappointed each time. We had reservations but they tried to seat us in the bar. The food is maybe average, but they do a little better with salads and appetizers. Too many good restaurants to waste my time & money here."

"Although the night we went to the restaurant they seemed to be out of a lot of food, we still enjoyed the meals we chose. The homemade chips were amazing! While not the fault of the server since she was the only person in the whole restaurant, this meant that everything took a long time cause she was the only server for both the floor and the bar. She was trying really hard to quickly accommodate everyone, but the service was a bit slow."

"Mythos has improved since it opened a few years ago. The food is delicious. The drinks are always good (including a decent wine list). Mythos is great for special occasions and a wonderful place to dine with friends. The moussaka is yummy, as are the mussels, the smoked chicken, and the huge salads (enough for two people to split as a starter). Jennifer the waitress/bartender is very friendly."

"The food was amazing. We had pita and humus and they had put olive oil and oregano on the pita & then grilled it. The lentil soup was yummy and was the 1 pound of mussels with fries. The couple at the next table told me that they have a great happy hour M-F and a late one Saturday. Can't wait to go back!"

"Food was very good but rather pricey. Lamb Shanks were outstanding, meat would just melt off your fork, and the taste was absolutely wonderful. Mahi Mahi Fish was very fresh and cooked just right that the meat was tender and edible. This was a Birthday Dinner and the restaurant was notified in advance through Open Table; however nothing was done. No acknowledgement, no special desserts, or candles."

"we had a pleasant lunch at Mythos on Valentine's Day. The luncheon menu includes a reasonable variety of starters, salads and entrees, though I had expected more Greek/Mediterranean options. I had the tasty chicken skewers which were served with a tasty tzatziki sauce, fresh sautéed vegetables and a rice pilaf. My husband had the fish and chips with the delicious house made chips. The ambiance is very pleasant, and the service friendly and prompt. we will back !"

"The Hostess was especially nice and I have to say the the food was absoluetly delicious! Our server however was not so good.ught me salmon but I had ordered mahi-mahi so our meal was delayed while that was corrected (he comped our 2nd drink but we waited a very long time to get that too). Then we ordered a dessert to go, asked for the cheescake but when we got home to our surprise found chocolate cake in the box. Whaaaaat?"

"Burger exceeded my expectations. One of the best I've had, and the presentation was top notch. Wife had the salmon, which was also phenomenal. I had a taste, and it was filled with savory flavor.
Also, we came while it was still happy hour. Beers on tap were $3, and they have Racer 5 IPA for $4. But don't hold your breath, as the excellent meal adds signficantly more to the total."
