Copacabana Brazilian Steak House is a barbeque steak house where a variety of mouthwatering, skewered meats are brought directly to your table and carved fresh onto your plate. Known as Rodizio-style dining, you'll sample as much as you like of our 12 Angus-grade meats, all aged and marinated onsite and cooked to perfection outdoors over charcoal in traditional 'Gaucho' fashion. "We arrive to the restaurant almost a half hour past our reservation and were still seated immediately. The started to come to the table immediately with endless skewers of meat. The service was fantastic. When making my reservation, I made a note that it was my fiances birthday, and they brought out a little dessert without me having to say a word! The only thing that needed improvement was the salad bar. The french fries and some of the sides were not as fresh as I would have expected them to be but the amazing meat made up for it. I would def recommend Copacabana to anyone who is a meat lover looking for a good steak and great service."

"It's an 'all you can eat' so I wasn't expecting all that much. But yeah, I was wrong. So much tasty meat. 1st dish (lamb chop) was really good, and it just got better from there. The prime rib with cheddar was my favourite. I really liked the way they did the pineapple. Wasnt planning on eating the pineapple cause I didn't want to fill myself up on that. But I took some anyway, and I didn't regret it for a moment.
Service was exceptional too. Different waiters bring out food. 1 was grumpy, but the others were great. They kept asking us if there was a particular dish that we wanted (and then they'd get it for us in a timely manner). Very surprising for an all you can eat place. Our main waitress was cute, friendly and knowledgable"

"When we first sat down, we were served right away with the different types of meat for the first 45 minutes. After that, they came around a lot less and less frequent even though our place card said "heat it up". There is a 2 hour dining limit and I guess they try to push you out after an hour. As for the food, the meats are good but salty. We had to ask for the corn bread and fried bananas and to continue with the meats. I noticed that when the other tables around us had left and new guests were seated, the services picked up pace once again."

"Our reservation was for 4:30pm when the restaurant opens. I wouldn't recommend going at this time as the food is not exactly coming out quickly. We waited quite a bit of time for the meats to start to come to us. We noticed the meats were going to the tables near the window (we were closer to the buffet/kitchen) and then missing us on the way back to the kitchen. We had to ask many times for rolls, meats, pineapple and bananas. They didn't bring enough buns or bananas for our whole table and we didn't even get offered the corn muffins. I have been there before and the entertainment, atmosphere and service was much, much better. Not sure if they ignored us because we had a child with us, but there were 7 adults there so lots of money spent"

"We went for my mom's birthday and the service was impeccable. Our server was very helpful and very accomodating. The food was so good, the meat was good and the buffet was so filling. When the cake came out my mom blew her candles and they cut the cake for her. We were lucky to get front table seating right infront of the entertainment. My family, all 5 of us would definitely recommend this place and come back :)"

"Could do without the Wednesday night lounge singer...rather mediocre. Other than that, exactly what we expected and were hoping for. Food is excellent. Look closely at the starter buffet. Lots of goodies tucked away on the side rails that really add to it. Would be easier if the dishes were labeled, too."

"A very FUN evening! The Staff is amazing, especially Juan and Romane who came around carving the different types of meat. So much to try. Definitely a meat lovers night! But, I must say the Salad Bar is Great too! To balance off the meat. Loved the marinated avocados,so fresh, also their version of coleslaw, quinoa,green,beets...everything. And the grilled pineapple! Yummy! Plus, the guitar, and bass player doing some Eric Clapton songs, amazing! Overall a great night, will definitely come back again."

Food comes out slowly, when you ask for something you meet get it, or have to ask five times.
Loud music playing and we were right next to the speakers. with a large group , and could hardly hear each other. We asked to move, and even though we saw many empty tables that could accompdaye our group, they refused."

"Was impressed with food presentation and most of the cuts presented. Salad bar was limited by most standards. Service was inconsistent and we basically ignored for the last 30 minutes that we were there.
I would recommend this restaurant to a friend because it is a unique and fun dining experience, but would warn them that the service is only OK."

"TI celebrated my bday here and I was very pleased with the service. Numerous times throughout our dinner, various waiters and waitresses frequently checked in on us to see if we needed anything and if we had any requests. We felt very well taken cared of! Thank u!! "After booking a group reservation a month in advance for 7:30 on a Saturday night, we weren't thrilled to have to wait 40 minutes for our table, and being given different reasons why we were waiting.
The price for the buffet alone for non-meat eaters is very high! The selection isn't worth it. And then only $10 for the meat, I think that's backwards. I don't know if it was because it was a weekend, but we had people drop out of our dinner plans due to cost.
The dancers were ok, but we only got to see them for 30 seconds before they were gone.
The meat was superb. The pineapple was divine. I just wish I could get a banana daquairi."

"An omnivore's dream. We really enjoy coming to Copacabana. Everything is delicious, freshly grilled, and unlimited. Between the meats of the rodizio and the fare at the "salad bar", there's so much to enjoy. There's actually quite a bit of choice for lacto-ovo vegetarians, because "salad bar" is something of a misnomer. There are veggies, pastas, soup, and antipastas without meat or fish, and enough variety to satisfy. And the cornbread is spectacular."

"It was my first time at the Toronto location. The Niagara location has a much better atmosphere. It was very crammed in there, the servers barely had enough room to move about. The food was too salty. All you can taste is the salt and spices. I couldn't enjoy the food because I constantly needed to drink water. I also kept asking for meats other than beef because my mom doesn't eat beef, and we were thoroughly disappointed. Not worth the money."

"I found the service staff to be amazing. They were very accommodating to our group and reservation changes (even though changes were last minute). The actual wait staff ensured that we were receiving all the foods we particularly liked or were waiting for. The entertainment added a nice touch to the dining experience. The only issue was the table, it was by the window and the two seats closest to the window were freezing."

"We enjoyed the food and the music and floor show, although it was a little loud for conversing with anyone not right next to you and it was difficult to see some of the show from the table. Food service was excellent and we were asked several times if there we had any specific requests. Drink service had a small hiccup near the start but was mostly good. Overall we had an excellent evening and I would recommend it for special occasions to people who like meat."

"Good resturant!! Very cool concept. We had originally eaten at a chain in the US called Texas de Brazil. We were looking for something similar here in Toronto. The meat was very good. The salad bar was good, but nothing compared to Texas de Brazil."

"I love Copacabana, I have planned several birthday parties here, also have gone on a romantic date the first time ! it is amazing everytime !! I especially love the men with the skewers, they are always so sweet and outgoing ! love it :) RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE. I had my bf's bday party here and my family dads bday party here !
Both very different atmospheres. It can be something for family and yet it can still be a place for young adults too 3"

"Copacabana is a great place to taste a Brazilian style barbecue. It has various types of cuts and meats. The buffet is not as complete as some steak houses I used to go to back in Brazil, but it is more than enough and has some brazilian specialties. The dance show (samba) made the experience even more authentic."

"Meats were excellent. Serving staff was a hitt or miss. Some really great waiters and others are not. Compared to other Brazillian Steak Houses the salad bar needs to have higher quality food and more variety, particularly for the price charge at the meal. Wine selection was just OK. The place has potential. Live entertainment is nice as well."
