Copacabana Brazilian Steak House is a barbeque steak house where a variety of mouthwatering, skewered meats are brought directly to your table and carved fresh onto your plate. Known as Rodizio-style dining, you'll sample as much as you like of our 12 Angus-grade meats, all aged and marinated onsite and cooked to perfection outdoors over charcoal in traditional 'Gaucho' fashion. "As a Brazilian I missed chicken hearts and garlic bread!!!
but everything else was awesome I had a great time!

"The server was very welcoming and attentive. The size of Specialty drinks were very Small for its price. I liked the side/salad section but you may want to check the quality with the cold stuff. (the radish and onion were off). Where we were sitting, we couldn't see the dancers and the band because there was a shelving unit blocking the view. I had to get up to see the performance and good thing it was really not busy. I liked how the meat came thru and it was always fresh."

"A hopping place, full house, music was great. Service was well-timed and waiters very friendly. Food was great, steak mouth watering melt in your mouth experience. "The food was very good. You may not enjoy everything they have but that just comes down to personal preference. You will definitely find a few things that you like. I have yet to see a person who didn't love the pineapple. That's all i am gonna say about that."

"I have always loved going to Copacabana. Overall it is an awesome restaurant. The staff is friendly, the service is quick and the atmosphere is amazing. The only downfall of this place is it is always super busy (obviously considering all of the above) and hard to get a table unless you make reservations way in advance."

"We went there on Saturday night and had reservation for 9:30pm. Even with the reservation we had to wait another 20 min to get a table. Fridays and Saturdays are the busiest evenings for Copacabana. There was a band and they played good so waiting time want quickly. In general the food was good, the steaks were well prepared and serving waiters were visiting our table quite often with variety of the meat. The main reason why we went there was for entertainment and we were little bit disappointed.
For all time we had been there we witness dancers for maybe 10min including Capoeira guys. Summarizing:
- good food,
- perfect place for the group of people,
- kind of one time experience/visit."

"The food was good as was the service but the place is very children unfriendly! Although I had stated in my reservation that I will be coming in with a 6 month old and a 4 year old, there was no apparent heed given to that information and we were seated right next to the main doors. Every time they would open, the freezing draft would hit us. We had to keep the kids wearing their woolies througout. Other than that it was a good experience."

"Whether your with 2 people or 12 people this restaurant will definitely please all tastes. The salad bar is more then just a salad bar. The variety included rice, breads, salads, ect. The meat was cooked just the way you like it. The service was amazing.. the wait staff were extremely friendly."

"love it, i fell in love with copacabana in niagara falls, and when i heard it was in toronto, i had to try. the food is amazing if you are a meat fan, lots and lots of meats, decent salad bar . but you go there for the meats.

entertaiment was loud and vibrant , not your quiet romantic dinner but way better than red violin at danforth/broadview. the meat selection is better at copacabana and so is the service.

the pineapple is to die for...

highly recommended for all you meat/chicken/lamb lovers"

"Experience was good. Did not start off well as despite having a reservation, we waited excessively at reception after arriving; both maitre d' and hostess buggered off for 5 minutes leaving a long line us standing there wondering what was wrong. Communicate, people; it's not hard!

Once we got to the table, the food and service were very good. The concept was great, and our only regret at that point was that we should have flipped the "Fire it up" card over sooner, as we became quite stuffed. Hard to resist all that good food being brought to your table.

We would recommend the place to others, but with that caveat that the service staff (ie reception) have a few serious kinks to get out."

"I came, I saw, I conquered, but I would not return to Copacabana. It took a while for someone to come around to take our drink orders and explain how Copacabana works. Our waitress was not attentive to our needs; drinks were not replenished often enough. The whole dining experience felt rushed (2h limit?!?). The food was not bad at all, but the service (and dining) was rushed, conversation kept being interrupted by wait staff pushing meats of all sorts, and the noise levels were high making conversation difficult. It's worth trying, especially if you're an established carnivore. However, it feels more like a fad than a sustainable concept."

WE ARRIVED AT THE RESTURANT AT 4:40 IT WAS NOT BUSY, THERE WAS NO MUSCIC PLAYING NOTHING TO CREATE AN ATMOSFERE HOWEVER BY 5:30 THE RESTURANT WAS BUSIER THERE WAS MUSIC.MY QUESTION WHY WAS IT NOT PLAYING EARLIER.THE CONCEPT IS GREAT HOWEVER I FEEL IT IS VERY OVER PRICED.ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE NOT OFFERED WHAT IS ON THE MENU."

"It was okay, but too many seats/tables (too crowded and too hot because of the overcrowding). We were there for a special bday dinner with 10 people. Manager came to me to remind us to leave because we had reached the 2 hour time limit - This was a special occasion and we dropped over $1000.00 so I'm surprised by the rush to get us out and did not care for that.

It was advertised to have Brazilian entertainment. The singers didn't sing anything BRazilian whatsoever. For 10 minutes there was a couple women dressed in costume that danced briefly in an area that you could hardly see because of how overcrowded it was.

I wouldn't go back."

"The food is to die for, the staff super helpful, friendly, funny, the environment is youthful, sensual, and entretaining. The show is refreshing and i would absolutely recommend anybody to go and experience the cabana style anytime. Everytime I go, i want more... cannot get enough of the mouth watering food. However, the drinks are expensive so be prepare to eat, but not to drink."

"As soon as you arrive at the restaurant they remind you about the 2 hour stay limit. We felt rushed through out the night to finish our dinner and get outta there as soon as possible. The Brazilian dancing was only a few minutes and it was at the front and you could barely see the dancers. Live music was not brazilian but it was a slow jazz music which I don't think fit the Brazilian theme.

Overall I probably would not go back to that restaurant."

"We've dined often at the Copacabana in Niagara Falls and were surprised to find that the new Toronto location was not the same calibre. While the meat was excellent, there was much less variety than at the Falls location. The salad bar was lacluster and the hot side dishes/pasta would have benefitted with some signage.
The servers were excellent, engaging and efficient.
To be fair, our reservation was for New Year's Day, (no entertainment scheduled), which would have greatly added to the atmosphere. We were seated in the back near the kitchen which was not as nice as the front of the restaurant, which was filled with large groups.

That said, the experience of booking with Open Table was great, and I'd definately book on again."

"I was so looking forward to taking family to the Copacabana. I had raved many time to my parents,in-laws and brther and sister about pass visits. I was very disappointed that there was no entertainment and the buffet was very limited. My family was not impressed at all.It's a shame because I believe if they would have received the full experience they would have enjoyed it. I also fell it was not fair to charge full price and only receive half the value."

"The food was exceptionally good. However, when we first sat down, the service was fabulous, but as we continued eating...the men bringing the meat around tended to stay away from our table. The waitress asked us when we sat down if we would like "sparkling or flat" water...we chose flat (assuming it would be regular tap water)...it was in bottles and we were charged $7 per bottle...which we didn't find out until the bill came. Overall, great food but the service was mediocre."

"I've been at better Brazilian restaurant in Toronto. The price is fair, the variety of meat is not impressive. The service was not great. Few staff to handle the demand. The music was good. However the american football at screen was ridiculus. It suppose to be a soccer game. Definitively a good place to meet sometime with friends. If the service would improve, I will come back more often with my friends. For now, just once a month or less."

"The restaurant is easy to find in a central location (near Yonge & Eglinton) which makes it great for groups. I generally find at all you can eat locations, the food to be subpar but I found Copacabana to have perfectly cooked meats. As well they came quite frequently to offer meat on a continuous basis. It is not the cheapest buffet but the variety of meat - chicken, turkey, filet mignon, flank steak, sausages etc. made it a very enjoyable experience for carnivores. The live entertainment lent a party atmosphere to the night. The service was friendly and professional. I would return again for special occasions."

"More hype than anything and very over priced for what you actually get to eat. Our reservations were for 7:30 and upon seating we were told they were out of roast suckling pig. Our servers came with Chicken leg, sausage and cheap cuts of beef (flank, Sirloin tip etc.)! These all came first, and they kept coming in rotation. Also, two rounds of cornbread and cinnamon coated banana’s which are both used as fillers per say. I can now realize the marketing strategy to this concept….”fill you up with the cheap everyday fair” they have this down to a science. As far as prime rib steak, that came to our table ONCE and we all got about 2 or 3 ounces each near the end of our 2 hour seating limit! I’m NOT kidding! We had to “ASK” for the filet migno"

"The fact that I got stuck in traffic coming from mississauga, I lost an hour of seating time, and because my reservations had to be so early 4:30, which I only arrived at 5:15 we did not get to see the dancers, we got seated in a area that did not matter if they did perform we would not have seen them anyway very disapointing.. I brought people from out of town and really was disapointed that they did not get to enjoy the show, the food was as ususal outstanding and the service but the ambiance not so much.. I will next time drive to Niagara at least there I can get to see the performance."

"We had a great time. We were a group of four. My husband and I have been to the one in Niagara Falls a few times. What we found with the Toronto location was that it was missing the Brazillian ambiance. It was very plain inside. The salad bar selection was not as nice as the one Niagara Falls. The meat was fantastic (though they did not have my favourite parmesan pork). Staff was VERY friendly. Not sure if I'd go back to the Toronto location but look forward to going back to Niagara Falls restaruant."

"My wife and I first tried Brazilian Rodizo at a resort in Mexico and have been wishing to try it again for some time. We didn't expect the stellar quality we were in store for here. Literally everything we were served was great. Hands down, some of the best cooked and seasoned meats we've ever had. The dessert was fantastic (albeit quite small for the price) and while the meal was by no means, "fine dinning" we both left with a gigantic grin on our faces. We'll be taking everyone else we know whenever possible to this gem of a restaurant."

"Having lived in Brazil I have often wished there was a good Brazilian steak house here, and we finally have one. It was excellent the service was great and the meat fabulous. The waiters kept coming with more and more until we could not eat any more. The waiters were were very friendly and made the whole evening worth while. The buffet salad bar was just right not too much to confuse you. The only down side was the live music, it was not as good as I had hoped but i presume the band changes so the next one might be better I will be back to check."

"The only negative thing I can say about my night a Copacabana's was that my reservations were at 7:30 and we didn't get seated till 7:55. We arrived 15 minutes early so we stayed in the front but when we were not called and it was 7:40 I had to ask the ladies which had forgotten all about my party. Needless to say that I was upset but we got seated and everything was fine after that. I have to say that the waiters that serve the food are very knowledgeable about the cuts of meat and they are super friendly. Loved it and will go again."

"The food was absolutely incredible. The only issue we had was we felt a bit rushed as we had a limit of 2 hours, and a group of 14 plus waiting for cake took a little longer. I feel that if the guests are ordering alcohol and still having a great time they shouldn;t be asked to leave. I felt a bit embarrassed telling the guests we invited we had to go.
