"We've come for Easter and Mother's Day brunches here. Our children love buffets - no wait, many choices. We like being able to please them yet still enjoy quality food ourselves. Love that the seating areas are spacious, and table service is great. Very pleasant and satisfying choice for families on special occasions when cooking may be inconvenient. All experiences here have been very, very positive. Prompt seating, delicious food, friendly, efficient service."

"We arrived early and sat at the bar, bartender was great, drinks were fantastic. We were seated, the waiter was friendly and prompt, however, we ordered the calamari and waited 45 minutes for it to come out. We were about to leave and were talking to the manager and the appetizer came out, so we stayed. The Dinner and appetizers were worth the wait."

"We went for the Mothers Day buffet. I was very impressed with the fact that we had a 2:00 reservation, and were seated promptly at 2:00. For anyone who dines out on Mothers Day, you know how huge that is! The buffet was great. They didn't miss a thing. They had something to keep every one happy, even the pickiest of eaters. The Waite staff were all pleasant, friendly, and helpful. Which isn't always how things go on a busy holidays. All in all I was very happy with the whole experience. I will look forward to dinning there again, and recommend it highly to any looking for a place to take there family for a holiday."

"My family and I had a great Mother's Day Brunch at 1149 East in Seekonk... The food selection as always was tremendous. And delicious! I heard they will be closing May 31. I plan on making one final trip there as I was there for the grand opening some 6 years ago."
"The menu was small and over priced. We tried it because we had the restaurant.com coupon. We would only go back if we had another coupon otherwise it is too overpriced. We had reservations for 6:30 and got there for 6. Asked the hostess if we could be seated earlier and she told us no we had to wait for our reservation when you could clearly see there were empty tables which was fine. So she suggested we have a drink in the bar area so we did. Bartender was very nice and we enjoyed a couple of cocktails there. We also asked if we would be called when our table was ready and we were told yes however that was not the case. We weren't seated until 7pm which also made us late for our restervations we had elsewhere for a comedy show after dinner"

"I had enjoyed the Sunday Brunch buffet previously but it is getting old. The waitress provided terrible service. In a buffet setting all she had to take care of was the drinks and she was not even capable of that. The food was not a good temperature. The carving station meats were dry. The staff cooking the omelets burned a couple of them, mine and the one that actually caught on fire that he had to recook. I did enjoy the chowder but not enough to pay $25 per person to enjoy. I will not be returning."
"Great food! Great Appetizers! Great Atmosphere! 1149 did not disappoint. The portions were more than adequate and very flavorful. There were a variety of options to choose on the menu for every taste. The wait staff was very attentive without being overbearing. This is how a restaurant experience should be."

"Very nice experience, as always. Only minor negative was crowding. Difficult to get in and out of the table - we were backed up to the omelette station. All servers with whom I interacted were really personable!"
"we were not very impressed, every trip to the buffet their were never plates, the three times i went looking for shrimp their was no cocktail sauce, our seating was for 3;00 but we did'nt seat til 3;45, at that time they were out of clam chowder and apple crisp, seemed like they were overwelmed. never the less we love the 1149 for dinner, food is always very good.."
"Went for Easter Brunch, great food, crowded and noisy but that is expected for the holiday. We go every year, love the menu just wish they would change it up just a little year to year."

"Our family went for Sunday brunch and, as always, enjoyed ourselves immensely. I had called ahead and indicated that this was a special occasion and we were treated like royalty. I can't thank all of the staff enough! In fact, even those who worked the "stations" (omelet, carving, etc.) were fun and wonderful. I booked our Mother's Day reservation for our family before we left the restaurant."

"We went to 1149 early on a Saturday evening (5 PM) . We had a reservation and although there were no more than 4 tables with people seated at them, we were shown to the very back of the restaurant in a separate room from everyone else. It was dark and dreary.I asked the young hostess if we could be seated out front near the window but was told the tables were all very small tables. NOT true! Nevertheless, we stayed and were very nicely taken care of by Matt our server who saved the dining experience. The drinks and food were great. He was friendly and knowledgeable. But next time we will go to the 1149 in Warwick, RI."
"While my Girlfriend And I had A Wonderful Meal with Exceptional Service There were A few Things that Bothered Me About 1149. We ordered n Appetizer Of coconut Shrimp That cost about 7 Bucks and Received 6 pieces of shrimp. To me That is A bit steep. On Top of That I ordered A full Rack of Ribs And half Of My rack was bone try To The point i Could not swallow without a Drink. Finally, the Room was So Dim it seemed Like it Made it difficult to See. Setting The mood is One thing, but this Setting was A Bit Much."
"Don't waste your time nor money. Just keep driving. Requested NOT to have a table in the middle of the dining room. Well that's exactly where we got seated, right in the middle. Drinks were good and also the buffalo chicken nachos. Things seemed to be looking up right? Wrong! The chicken Cacciatore was loaded with chicken bones. The chicken parm was mush, Matched the pasta. Had to yell across the table because the band at the other end of the restaurant was so loud you couldn't carry a conversation at the table. We all thought it was Karaoke night it was so bad. I can check this place off the list as been there done that and never again."
"There was a good selection of food for brunch. However, the layout didn't make sense. Also, the person running the omlet station kept burning them. The restaurant smelled of burned eggs the entire time. I asked my waitress to have him make me another. 30 minutes later I saw it being made and was told the delay was due to having to blanch more brocoli. Couldn't someone have told me that? I told them to forget it all together. There are better places for brunch!"
"Everything we had was outstanding!Drinks were generous. I had steak frites, The meat was cooked to perfection and the frites were thin and crispy but not greasy. My guest had fish and chips and as the waiter described it, the fish was fresh and very lightly battered. Service and overall experience was very, very good."
"Double check the location of your reservation. Opentable mistakingly reserved at Seekonk and not Warwick. We were not aware until we arrived at the restaurant. Luckily the hostess was able to accommodate us."

"The manager on duty ruined this special valentine's dining expereince. I will never dine here again nor will I ever recommend this restaurant to anybody."
"Dining room noisier than usual but considering it was a Saturday night, that's to be expeccted. The blackened tilapia, chilean sea bass special and coconut shrimp all received thumbs up from our table. The desserts (carrot cake and chocolate lava cake) were delightful i.e. they came in shot glasses, so no need to feel guilty. The only negative was the service. Our server was inattentive resulting in lengthy periods of time waiting for him to appear."
