"The service was top notch. Our waiters was attentive and informative, but the food itself was the let down. Both pasta dish and risotto were under seasoned and therefor underwhelming. For that reason alone I gave the restaurant only 3 stars. I would give it another chance at a later date and hope it was just an off night.
The maple mascarpone cake was delicious and I would go back for that."

"From the moment we entered the restaurant, the staff treated us like family. The ambiance was great, and I'd recommend La Verita for botha a special occasion, or a regular family outing. Great selection on the wine list; the menu was varied, and every dish we ordered was outstanding."

"My family and I have been enjoying La Verità for years now. It is our favourite restaurant. The menu is always creative and the food is predictably wonderfu! I have never been disappointed. We have also held many family events and the service and attention was always over and above the call of duty."

"The moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the host. Every single member of the staff at La Verita went out of their way to make us feel important. In fact, we felt so comfortable with the staff that we allowed them to make menu suggestions(which turned out to be a great plan).
Our appetizer of grilled octopus was sensational. It was my first time eating octopus and the waiter was so confident I would love it that he offered to bring us a different appetizer if I didn't. That didn't happen. The octopus was tender, flavorful and just plain delicious.
The menu changes often (which is refreshing), but I managed to snag a mushroom risotto that was hearty and cooked to perfection.
Also incredible was the cheesecake for dessert!"

"Had an amazing meal! Great tomato soup followed by lobster ravioli. For dessert the waiter surprised us with maple mascarpone cheesecake. Very nice and attentive staff. Menu changes weekly and everything is made fresh. We'll definitely be back"
