"My family came to Le Jardin on May 12th for Mother's Day. The view was beautiful and the food was delicious. However, it was very loud, and the service was a bit slow. This was probably because it was so busy, however, we had tickets to a show after dinner, and we were nervous about making it, even though we left plenty of time (5:00 reservation, 7:30 show 15 minutes away) our entree took about an hour to come out. The food was amazing though and I would definitely reccomend coming here."

"We live up the street from this place and thought it had a good reputation although we hadn't gone there before. I guess the fact that we could get reservations at 6:50 for 7:00 on a Saturday night should have been a red flag. In any case, my wife is a trained chef, and she sent back the tuna entree, I sent back the 1st glass of red wine, and all in all the night was so bad we were laughing. (We never send back anything) The food is mediocre, the presentation is non-existent, and the place has the ambience of a diner."

"I went for the first time to take my mother out for her Birthday. I love French food, so I thought I would give this place a try as the reviews were good. The atmosphere was decent & the views were nice. The service was just above par, but the noise created by the atmosphere made it hard to hear our waiter. The food was ok at best, not what I was expecting. I started with the Pate which was ok and then duck for my entrée, which was extremely tough. I have never had a piece of duck that tough before. My Mother & Fiancé both ordered the chicken and both said it was below par. Their appetizers - Salad was ok & the Tartare was probably the best thing we ordered. Overall, for the price of this restaurant, I would go somewhere else."

"The view is spectacular, the ambiance is a strange mixture of familial and pompous, the service is pretentious and casual, this restaurant would like to pretend it has a "French" touch.. but it is totally "French made in USA"... The food is banal, the wine list is limited but the quality is good, overall impression, pretentious and far too expensive...I won't return.."

"We went for Valentine's Day because it was supposed to be romantic and the food was supposed to be fantastic. I had never been before and was saving it for a special occasion. The menu was a pre fixe for $70pp, which I didn't know before we got there. I chose the caprese salad and filet mignon by default. Our appetizers arrived immediately, which made me feel as though they were pre-made & sitting in the fridge. My caprese still came out wrong. I ordered the steak medium well, but when it came out it was more than well-done; it was totally dry and charred. The waiter never returned to our table to check on us or ask if we wanted more wine. I had to shout to him to order dessert. This was a frustrating experience and I will never return."

"Went for my wife's birthday along with my in-laws and my kids. Although they only were another 2 tables in the place (slow for a Wednesday evening)the service disconnected and not in tune. We asked for 2 bottles of water (flat and sparkling) the busboy went around asking 'regular or gas'(I am not filling the tank on the gas station am I?)We were asked if we were going to drink wine since we were not at the time I never saw the wine list. We ordered the food arrived (no idea who gets what)minus my wife special risotto of the day... we waited another 10-15 minutes..by then everyone was mostly done except my wife! Again lack of coordination.Removed part of the plates after 20 minutes. Here comes the cake... wrong person again. NOT fine dining!"
