"This is an outstanding restaurant for seafood. Our entrees were beautifully presented and extremely tasty. The paella was excellent. We were there to celebrate our anniversary, and we liked it so much that we plan to go back for other special occasions. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ocean view from the large windows was a lovely backdrop to the dinner. The desserts were very good too. Overall, an excellent dining experience."

"While we have had brunch at Sea Glass we had never had dinner, so we gave it a try. Located in the elegant Inn by the Sea on Cape Elizabeth Maine, Sea Glass is a romantic setting overlooking a pastoral setting with distant water views. The service is excellent and very attentive. The food is good but uninspiring. The price is a touch high ( $11 plain salad). We may give it another try."

"My wife and I had our first dinner as a married couple here, and it was outstanding. The food was amazing. The service was even better. Our server was thoughtful and friendly, and knew the menu inside and out, and was able to help us pair a perfect wine selection with dinner. This is the best restaurant to celebrate a special occasion."

"My husband surprised me with dinner at the Sea Glass and what an memorable evening. I was treated like a Queen. The waiter was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He appeared when we needed something and left us to dine like royalty. Never felt rushed.
I had the chef's special, duck with a fruit-reduction and my husband had the seafood paella. Heaven!
Extensive wine list. Dessert, a fluffy tiramisu with a spoonful of decadent chocolate ice cream. Did not want to leave!
The dining room is small and unfortunately it was too cool a night to sit out on the patio. Our seating wasn't great. Next time we'll ask for a corner table for a bit more privacy.
We're going back for our anniversary -- I can't wait!"

"A beautiful view with food that made the night complete. It was great that we made a reservation for 5:30 as we got to sit by a window and take-in the beautiful ocean view. I had Chicken Under a Brick and it was tender and juicy. The whipped yukon potatoes, spinach and raisin topping was perfect together."

"We have eaten at the Sea Glass several times and it has always been good and usually very good. This time the service was fantastic, the drinks good but the food was poor. The fish tacos ordered by my sister had 2 small pieces of fish and were served with a small amount of lettuce and some guacamole, nothing else. There was barely any food on her plate. I ordered a lobster roll and it was no better than the lobster that I get at home in Virginia - a place where I avoid ordering lobster. We were very disappointed - our rather expensive lunch for 5 (including drinks and dessert) was about $160 (before tip)- not worth it at all. But I have to mention that the service was very nice and they accommodated a special request."

"I was very disappointed that my specific request was ignored! I made my reservation three weeks in advance because it was my husband's birthday. I asked for a nice cozy table with a view. I also called the restaurant the afternoon of our dinner to make sure of this. I was assured by two different people that they had a nice window table reserved just for us. When we arrived (on time) there were no window tables available. They had given all 5 of them away (there were seven separate dining parties in the restaurant at the time)and I was told it was "first come first serve," and my request was not a guarantee, therefore we will not return!"

"This was our first time at this restaurant. We were drawn by the fact that it was inside a beautiful inn overlooking the ocean and the fact that they had vegetarian and vegan menu options which is so rare. They have an amazing wine list. The staff are ultra professional. The menu is not large but there is a enough of a mix and specials to suit many tastes. The food was very good. We had dinner once and brunch twice there. The brunch menu was very varied with lots of options."
