"Despite a recommendation that took us to Lime we were disappointed with the overall experience. Desperately under-staffed it appeared at first as though the bartender was playing maitre d', cocktail maker and bar tender, food server and kitchen staff all on her own. She then also disappeared, apparently off in search of an additional pair of hands. The wine selection was unacceptable - nothing from the red wine list was available and a single alternative offered. Our waiter took our food order and then proceeded to move to a nearby table where he sat and talked with the guests, our order thereby proceeding nowhere. When our food did arrive it was of a reasonably good standard but the overall experience is not one that I would re-visit."

"Lime is fun. However, you should go here with the knowledge that it will be a noisy, crazy, drunken party. If you enjoy a quieter slightly more refined brunch go to Circa. But Lime is a great place to go with friends for an afternoon of fun!
PS Plan on arriving before your reservation. We were 5 minutes late and they gave our table away!"

Review 9 for Lime
Overall Rating
(Good)
"I've been to Lime numerous times and have always really enjoyed going. This past visit was really unfortunate, though. Not sure what was going on, but the service was horrible! It took 3 plates of food before we actually got our drinks (which I saw sitting on the corner of the bar for almost 15 minutes), and the food itself didn't seem up to par. It took so long for anyone to pay attention to us (take our order, check on us for more food, bring out check). It was disappointing mostly because an out of town guest was really looking forward to eating here, and it ended up being not so much of a highlight of her visit."

"The place was amazing for brunch. Definately more of a crowd for the 20-30s. Food is on the smaller side but very rich. Ordered the French Toast and when I needed more food to absorb my mimosas ordered a plate of their house potatoes which were amazing. Went on a Saturday and it was pretty busy, but I heard Sundays are even crazier. Very hard to get a reservation anytime soon so it's good to book in advance."

"It seemed that Lime was understaffed for Valentine's Day. It wasn't crowded and we requested a booth or a table away from foot traffic, but we we placed at a table w/alot of traffic and the booths remained empty the entire time we were there. They only has one red wine by the glasss even though the menu listed 4-5. The desserts were mediocre. The Red Velvet cupcake tasted like eggs rather than chocolate and was dry. Love the concept of small plates, but not sure if we'll return. It's too bad because my experience there in the past was completely different."

"I don't think they should consider themself a restaurant. More just like a lounge with snacks. Worst idea for valentine's Day and I guess thats why the place was half empty. First of all, no napkins on my side of the table. Second, they cannot make lychee martini, NO RED WINE at all on a full bar restaurant on a valentine's day! They have only one cheap red that is so bad that I cant even swallow it for tasting. Server got us wrong order and gave me wrong information. He told us fish taco comes with fries so I cancel my pea frites but then turns out fish taco does not comes with fries and he didn't cancel my pea frites. Lamp chop was totally overcooked. Fish taco is so blane with frozen fish filet. Will never go back."

"It was nice that the hostess acknowledged the fact that we were celebrating a special event and she was very pleasant when we called to inform the restaurant that we were running a few minutes late. However, it would've been nice if our server were more attentive and made an effort to provide better service; bring us water upon arrival instead of waiting for us to ask for it minutes later. Lastly, the food came out fairly quickly and our drinks were tasty. Not sure Lime is living up to all the hype, but would still like to check out their Sunday brunch."

"We went for Brunch and it was the best. We had a reservation at 10:30 and I would recommend only going with a reservation based on the crowd that was gathered when we left at 12:30. They started off Brunch with complimentary warm and flaky buttermilk biscuits with butter and jam. I had eggs benedict and it was perfect! Perfect eggs, and the yummiest sauce; and, the english muffin was perfectly toasted. Chives to top it off. Plus, crispy, yummy potatoes! Did I mention bottomless mimosas for $8. In total brunch was $30 a person including tip! The other exciting thing about this place is the music: loud and hip (Lady Gaga was in the house!)."

"I absolutely love this place! The bottomless mimosas and chocolate chip pancakes make for a fantastic brunch. Your glass will rarely be empty. Lime is like an after-after-hours club, with music bumping, and people still tipsy from the night before working on keeping the party going while dancing next to their tables. It's a great, fun scene even if you didn't go out the night before."
