The Skyline Club Board of Governors have given approval to open the Skyline Club to the public for dinner for a limited time. The Skyline Club, a private business club that sits at the top of the One America building has panoramic views of the city's skyline, Lucas Oil Stadium and Monument Circle. Elegance without being stuffy. Bring a group or enjoy a romantic table for two,the view is always amazing at the top!

"We had a fair amount of difficulty finding open door on the Bank America building to enter. We walked around the entire place. The cab driver had never even heard of the restaurant? Upon arrival upstairs, we noticed that the restaurant did not appear as elegant as it had on the internet. All the drapes were closed. The decor did not have a very modern or elegant appeal. I was beginning to think that we had chosen the wrong restaurant...But...as we settled in, the waiter was very friendly and receptive. We enjoyed the cocktails and the appetizers. Our dinner was really good and so was the desert. Overall, our night was good."

"Skyline was extremely impressive as far as ambiance and the extraordinary view are concerned. The food was less impressive than I expected, and I will definitely never order a Hanger Steak again. I'm assuming its an acquired taste, since the waitress said it is very popular. If you prefer a filet/ribeye, don't get the hanger. The pork chop was impeccable. The service was top notch, and the way they show you the wine list is very fun! Original, fun and classy."

"This is our second time to the Skyline Club. Once again we were greeted with friendly faces and were treated like celebrities. I had mentioned we were celebrating my birthday early when I made the reservation. To my surprise our table had a huge bouquet of balloons! The staff all wished me a happy birthday. I felt so special. To top it off the food was once again absolutely wonderful. The salad had a round of panko crusted fried goat cheese on top...blew my mind - was a perfect compliment to the citrus vinaigrette, greens, strawberries and candied walnuts. I also loved the scallops with ribbons of squash and the smoked salmon ravioli were divine as well. We look forward to dining there again soon!"

"We went for Easter brunch Eggsravaganza and really enjoyed it as a family event. The room was decorated nicely and the view is excellent. They had an Easter Bunny and outstanding balloon artist for entertainment and our two girls (8 & 9)loved it. They had a good selection of drinks, appetizers, entree foods, and desserts that suited adults and children alike. It was a buffet, so other than the egg station it was not prepared to order but we liked most everything. The service was good and a 20% servie charge was automatically added to the bill. Parking was a little confusing because the garage was closed on Easter Sunday."

"We were looking forward to a special night out and had heard that the Skyline club is great for special occasions. The view was great, but all else was extremely disappointing. There were only three other tables, but the service was very slow. Most upsetting of all was the trrrible quality of the food. I had scallops with vegetables and jumbo ravioli. The ravioli had sat out so long it had hardened! The vegetables were unseasoned and tasteless, and the scallops were over cooked. We also ordered the duck breast, which came with some hashbrown cakes that had been burned on one side and asparagus that was so over cooked it had shriveled up. Not worth $30 a plate! We are never returning, and I can't recommend it to anyone else!"

"This place was great! Great food and very nice looking restaurant! The food was gourmet and tasted great! My wife and I went on V-day and enjoyed it some much.
Except the waitress really wasn't super interested in our business. She chatted for 15 minutes in front of us with another table, while I might add we waited for the check, and never had much of a personalty with us. Just took orders and asked meal related questions. O, well this is probably a isolated issue. I wouldn't worry. The place otherwise is great!"

"The best feature of the restaurant is the view. 36 stories above Indianapolis is quite awesome. The food was very good and would recommend the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer as well as the banana's foster for dessert. The atmosphere is very comfortable and we enjoyed a relaxed dining experience."

"Overall, my bf and I had a good evening when we dined at the Skyline Club. I give high marks to the beautiful downtown views (even on an overcast night, it was lovely). The service was good, which wasn't surprising considering we were literally the only diners during our entire meal (6p - 7:30p). The wine list is decent and the bar area looks nice. Downsides: The decor and ambiance of the restaurant itself was unappealing and outdated. And the food was mediocre at best (ordered lamb cooked medium-rare, received it late, overcooked, and chewy). Oh, and they don't validate parking. Overall I wouldn't recommend it UNLESS you simply want a nice spot to order a bottle of wine with your special someone and gaze at an amazing view of the city."

"The hostess did a great job with seating us, she had a view with a perfect view of the circle. The chief did a great job at designing the menu for Valentines Day. We were both disappointed with the service. The entire meal the waiter got wrong for what we ordered, we had to switch the appetizer, salad, luckily we both got the same main course and the desert we were going to eat one and take one home and wouldn't you know he brough the one we wanted to take home to our table and boxed up the other..... wow!! For this price I would have thought they had the best of the best servers for this occasion."

"After our first experience at the Skyline club was so fantastic, we were so very disappointed with this visit. All of the rooms on the south side of the building were full. At first the hostess was very flustered and unwelcoming, then despite a 1/4 full room, she wanted to seat us at a table behind the bar, so that we would not be able to have any kind of a view. The food was outstanding again, but being seated in what felt like a back room and having average to below average service for an upscale restaurant was very disappointing. We will not be so quick to return and will be sure that any new reservations are for the main dining area where the atmosphere is much more indicative of the price."

"Went to Skyline Club for the Devour downtown. I had the lamb shanks and wife had scallops. Lamb shank very tender; would recommend. Disappointed that there was no wine menu to review. Biggest disappointment was the automatic 20% gratuity that was added to our bill for two individuals. This is over the top and an uncalled for. The diner should be able to give the amount of the tip based on the level of service. Probably won't go back. Too many other good places in Indy at this price point that don't pull these kinds of tricks."

"We visited on a weekend when a special menu was opted--Devour Downtown Indianapolis. We were never offerd a viewing of the regular menu when others around us were--we were never offered to view a wine list--as Julia Roberts stated in Pretty Woman--BIG MISTAKE. We have dined here with friends on other occasions even though we are not members. The entire restaurant seemed "confused" and "out of sync". The food was simply awful and my husband and I both came home and took pepto bismol! we will not return. We were treat ed like "we know you are not members but we will tolerate you for one eveing". We were quite well dressed and acted like the mature adults that we are----surprised we were treated so shabily!"

"My dining experience was just what I had hoped for. We were able to enjoy the Skyline Club for the first time via Devour Downtown and the ambiance and the service were outstanding.

"We ordered from the Devour Downtown menu. Our table had scallops, surf and turf, chicken and lamb.My scallops were good but not excellent. The chicken was judged mediocre. The surf and turf good and the lamb good. Dessert was a disappointment. Three of us had poached pear creme brulee. The only creme brulee was about a tablespoon in the center of the pear half and the dish was served cold which was very unappetizing. Another diner had the chocolate tart which was the consistency of fudge and way too sweet. The service was great and the view spectacular."
