Since opening its first restaurant in April of 2005, the Public House continues to strive to be a leader in the bar and restaurant industry. Public House currently encompasses restaurants in Philadelphia, New York, and National Harbor, MD. Public House's mission is to provide a consistent and quality product, while at the same time, a sophisticated and fun atmosphere to our guests. We are your neighborhood restaurant and bar with a nightlife scene. We believe that our guests should feel at home when they join us. We strive to provide an experience second to none in the hopes that they will find their way back home again. "Restaurant had very slow service, not very friendly. We never received silverware or napkins and finally had to ask for them well after food came to table. Waiter spilled drink on my mom and did nothing, we had to ask for napkins and wipe it up ourselves. Took a long time to receive check and also never drink refill or check in once food arrived."

"Made reservations late on a Saturday around 8:45pm. We were seated promptly. Appetizers and drinks came very quickly. Our meals were excellent. Great waitress ! Three music dodger very loud around 10:00 pm. Which made it hard to hear conversations at my table but I enjoyed the music"

"I heard amazing reviews so I was excited to come. The food was ok not amazing!! I had the mango tequila drink it was excellent!! It was a cute resturant it was a friday night seemed more for the night people. We tried alot of different things and the food was average not above and the prices were quite high. I eat out alot and overall unless it is a night im out drinking I will probably not come back."

"Went there for brunch. Very disappointed. The menu only had about 8-10 items to choose from; so not much of a selection. Brunch didn't include a kid's menu. Yes, I know it's a "bar"; but this is National Harbor - families will be looking for a place to eat. Also, it wasn't apparent from the menu that I could order any side items. Biggest disappointment had to be the bloody mary bar. Reading the menu, it looks fantastic. But really, the bloody mary bar amounts to nothing but a few things on a card table, and most of the bloody mary mixes were EMPTY. Service was pleasant and good. The server was quite responsive. But overall, I won't be going there for brunch or bloody marys again."

"Group of four of us went there for dinner on Saturday night. Waitress was nice, but lacking when it came to refils. We wanted to order the restaurant week special, but apparently they had stopped offering it a day early. We ordered the craband artichoke dip and it was delicious. My husband and the other gentleman in our group ordered the cheeseburger which they thought was good, but a bit overpriced. I ordered the American dip with tomato bisque and really enjoyed it (tomato bisque was the best I've had). The other lady in our grou ordered the crab cake sandwich and she enjoyed it as well. Drinks were ok. I will order wine next time instead of a mixed drink just because I didn't find the mixed drink that good. Overall enjoyed it."

"Made a 2pm reservation for 3 people...neither lunch nor dinner, but with the cheer competition in town, I wanted to be assured of a table. We were greeted/seated promptly and then the trouble started. Our drink/dinner orders were taken. 20 minutes later the drinks arrived. Food took 50 minutes. The plates were red hot from being under the warmer, and the cheese on top of my oily pasta was fused into place as a result."

"This was the first stop on a 2 part valentine day date. When we first got there we noticed how nice the outside of the restaurant was. Perfect for a summer night. Any way we got there 15 min before our reservation and we were seated immediately. We ordered the 3 course valentine day special. Everything was delicious. My fiancee couldnt beleive I picked such a nice place. I highly reccomend it for late night dining."
