"We went for brunch on Mother's Day. The valet service was extremely friendly. The host was very nice. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The restaurant was elegant. The Prix Fixe menu was reasonably priced. The food was good, if a bit overcooked. The dessert buffet was pretty, but the desserts themselves were underwhelming. The service was very poor. She didn't seem to know the limited menu very well. She didn't offer drink refills until after the meal. She did not engage with us above the minimum requirements and didn't make us feel welcome at all. We'll go back and hope for better service."

"The food and service were outstanding. They accomodated our special request for an appetizer that was not offered on the menu. The wine we selected was not available, but the manager spoke to us and recommended an even better option. It was the perfect place for celebrating our wedding anniversary. I will definitely return."

"We took my parents (who were visiting from L.A.) to Prime 108 for brunch and had such a lovely time! We mainly went to enjoy to beauty and history of Union Station, but the food EXCEEDED our expectations -- it was top notch -- we all really enjoyed our dishes. Mom and dad had the Cajun breakfast dish, hubby had the chicken & waffles (very gourmet) & I had a traditional Eggs Benedict. The ambience was fantastic and the service was excellent. HIGHLY recommend for foodies or people looking to get away from the overcrowded brunch spots."

"The fact the restaurant is in the train station with stain glass windows make it different and fun. The food, service and the atmosphere make this a great place to take out of town guests."

"Dining in this beautiful space might be enough to put a smile on your face, but throw in impeccable and friendly service plus delectable food that would satisfy the most discerning palates, you are in store for a memorable dining experience. We took advantage of the "Tastings Menu", which has limited options for a fixed price four course dinner. The lobster ravioli was a delicious start. The salad that followed was one of the best I have ever enjoyed! The bib salad and others ingredients ere so fresh, they tasted like they must have been picked from an on site garden. There were three choices for entree. I chose the "Big Eye" tuna, which was spectacular on plate and bursting with Asian-infused favor. Lovely dessert was nice ending."

"Disappointing food and service. Huge let down after other reviews and expectations since the Union Hotel is so beautiful! I had brunch on Sunday and I could have gotten better blueberry pancakes and service at IHOP for much less. Also, the dress code is not enforced as other diners were in flannel pajamas at the next table. One bright spot though: The Valet staff however are amazing! Super polite and address you by name!"

"The location is the real winner at this restaurant - with good yet expensive food. The menu is interesting. I felt they were more successful at some food more than others. Overall - very good though. Our waiter was either having a bad day or was not a very good waiter - he was not friendly and when one of our party tried to order the tasting menu - he was actually discouraging of this option given it took a while. It did not seem like he was discouraging it in respects to thinking of us - but worried we'd be taking too long with the table! Overall it was an positive experience but the service was not worth the cost of the meal."

"We must have gone on an off night. We normally love this restaurant, but hadn't been in about a year. The menu just didn't have the 'wow factor' that we were used to, normally we would have a hard time narrowing down our choices, but this night it was hard to find something to get excited about. We wondered if maybe they had changed chefs. I will say that the lamb loin dish is not good, but the restaurant, to it's credit, took 1/2 off the price when I told the server that it was not tender at all. My husband did enjoy his panko chicken, but would have loved to have ordered something more interesting, it just wasn't there that night. We will probably go back but just for drinks next time, as we love the bar and the lobby."

"I loved everything about my experience at Prime 108. The food was excellent, the service was great. We ate there for dinner on Saturday night and liked it so well we came back for brunch on Sunday morning. We took time after brunch to walk around the hotel. We found it so interesting. We peeked in a few of the hotel rooms and meeting rooms. The building has so much character and class. The only thing I saw were several cob webs around the stairs and banisters. And I only noticed this because I use to be in commercial real estate property management. I will definitely recommend this hotel."

"The experience was good but not great. The Union Station lobby was very cool, and the ambiance in Prime 108 was good, with very interesting architecture in the dining room itself. The tuna tostada had a very good taste, but was nearly impossible to eat. Even trying to be very careful, we destroyed it and made a huge mess. The tostada itself seems to be the root cause as we could not cut it easily. The rest of the meal (steak for my fiancee and scallops for me) was just good, not amazing. Prime 108 was pleasant but not memorable."

"The food, service and ambiance were all wonderful. Union Station is a great setting for this restaurant. After a busy afternoon listening to music in the Honky Tonks, Prime 108 was a nice relaxing oasis. Prime 108 is our favorite Nashville restaurant."

"Beautiful room with perfect decor and amazing service (even the water guy was great). Valentines Day was very pricey though and the limited menu was hit or miss. The appetizer was just not very good. I will always consider it our special occasion restaurant but never without the full menu. I was not informed of the fixed menu offering until my confirmation email the day before - it was too late to find a new restaurant. We did inform them we had symphony tickets and a tight schedule and they did everything possible to meet our constraint. They even had s cab waiting for us when we planned on walking."

"We absolutely loved Prime 108. The only thing is to be SURE you know what you will be charged for. We went for our anniversary and they said "the desserts will be on us" but turned out just 1 dessert was on them and I subsequently had to pay for the other dessert even though it was evident the waitress was not clear she made no attempt to simply take the $7 dessert off, I thought that was a little, uggghhhh, & then they ask you about what type of water you want but don't indulge that anything beyond "tap" water (i.e. spring water) would be a charge, which in our case we chose spring water and paid $8 for a bottle, but other than that the experience overall was good."

"A restaurant with great potential; however, it falls into the ranks of mediocre. We arrived twenty minutes ahead of our reservation. Although the restaurant was nearly empty, they would not seat us right away.
The menu is extremely limited with only one fish selection and few beef selections. The food is only so-so. Not worth a second chance."

"I can't believe That we have never eaten there before -the food was great! Plus union station is beautiful! Will definitely be back soon!! We had a large party and I made the reservations 10 minutes before on open table app because we couldn't get a table at whisky kitchen for 3 hours and we were seated immediately upon arrival party of 8."
