Located on the south end of Amelia Island. Between The Ritz-Carlton and the Amelia Island Plantation, our restaurant offers traditional continental fare with a twist.
"Another outstanding meal. The staff was friendly and attentive - our children were even able to go to the kitchen and watch the Chef as she plated our meals. A great birthday gift for our 11 year old - it was his birthday and when asked where he wanted to have his birthday dinner without hesitation he chose Horizons."

"We had a wonderful dining experience. Vance was outstanding as our waiter. The appetizers were fabulous & the entrees were good. My husband's chocolate brownie with toffee was to die for & the only down side to the whole meal was my berry tart; there were no berries & it was not a tart. We will definitely make our way back to Horizons for a meal."

"Not so good. Our table was in a walkway, even though there were other tables, loud, wine glass stayed empty until I finally asked for a refill. The food was good. But won't go back."

"Our table wasn't in the greatest location....right opposite the serving bar, (there probably shouldn't have been a table there, period), but the food was very good, and our server, Paige, was the best!"

"Courtney and her staff consistently hit the mark! Horizons continues to be one of our favorite restaurants on the island. We've hosted the annual Tin Whistle Invitation Golf Tournament kick-off dinner here for the past several years and service is excellent everytime.
Thanks Courtney! The guys will see you next year! And, we'll see you soon!"

"As fortune would have it, our waiter was under-experienced. Most food was served near room temp or cooled. It would be unfair to brag or criticize; however, the Rack of Lamb was served perfectly at medium temp on a hot plate to keep it there. Best part of the dining experience!"

"We had had lunch at Horizons several times in the past. This was our first dinner experience. We had high expectations, and they were vastly experience. This was by far the best meal we had on the island during our visit for the month of February. I don't recall the name of the server, but she was excellent in explaining the specials, answering our questions about other items on the menu, and making us feel welcome and at home."

"The rack of lamb was cooked perfectly and a good price, the tuna was also prepared perfect and at a good price. We belong to a club right down the street and the wine list and the food at Horizons tops the private club."

"Went during a "restaurant week" where they had a limited menu to choose from. My husband and I thought this was a good time to try a new place since we are new to the area. All food/sauces/dressings seemed to be homemade. My Caesar dressing on my salad was so strong, I couldn't eat it. My slice of beef tenderloin had a lot of fat on it, about half, and therefore was not consumed. (The portion I did eat was cooked well and flavorful). My husband ordered Salmon and he said it was cooked well but tasted farm raised. I ordered the white choc caramel bread pudding, and my husband the key lime tart. I didn't taste any white choc in it, and my piece was very charred, here again, making it inedible. My husband's dessert was good. Service was ok."
