"I've been wanting to go to this restaurant for a long time. I made a reservation for a Saturday night and had an amazing experience. Surprisingly the place was not busy and my boyfriend and I were able to sit at a table of our choice. Food was amazing, everyone working there was so helpful with recommendations and explanations of the menu. Atmosphere was perfect for a date, we stayed for almost 3 hours. Definitely recommend it!"

"We had a delightful, leisurely dinner before an 8 pm curtain at Carnegie. The service was attentive. The food was very good. My scallops were sweet and just the right texture. The spaghettini was just a little more al dente than I like (and than I ever had in Italy even) but the sauce of calamari, fish and dried tuna roe was outstanding. Dessert was probably the weakest part of the meal: molten chocolate cake with pandan gelato. The view of Fifth Avenue is nice. The only downer was that it was so empty."

"Very good location with a nice view over the 5th Avenue. We went there for lunch. Ravioli and lasagnetta were very good, kids took scallops and loved them, duck with sweet cherries was wonderful, although my husband didn't quite like his melaneese schnitzel. Overall impression is very nice. I'd love to go there again."

"You pay for the real estate--which may be OK. It is a very spacious, uncrowded restaurant in an expensive neighborhood. Quiet, good for conversation and chic. Food is excellent, but the total cost is always a bit higher than even I expected. I have been twice for lunch and once for dinner. I use it when quiet ambience is important, but otherwise I would be annoyed at the expense."

"A great experience, the manager was very accommodating to my table request, and the staff were pleasant and efficient. I couldn't fault it, everything was just perfect for lunch. Both me and my guest had a crisp, chilled pinot grigio which was delicious, and a good sized pouring (I hate it when restaurants scrimp on that) and I had the baked cod which was very nicely cooked and presented. We shared a rich, chocolate dessert which also hit the spot. I will definitely be going back!"

"This restaurant is not your typical "retail store" eatery. It's environment is open and comfortable, with a great corner view of 5th Avenue. Service is consistently good. Our experience on this visit was great. Brunch was fabulous, and the appetizer unique and also delicious! Good bar, as well. Will definitely return for dinner!"

"This is our second time here and it was just as delightful as the first time (for my birthday in February). Our friends from out of town joined us Friday night and they enjoyed every minute...I know they'll be back."

"The place is very nice and the food is great. The reason I didn't give it a 5 start was because the Maitre D' whispered in the hostess' ear right before seating us. That's totally unprofessional. but hey, he dresses good :)"

"Went there with my daughter for lunch .Two hosts were manning reception, the one taking care of us was incredibly rude ,for no reason ,except that we showed up early, while restaurant was but half empty ,no particular pressure ...his attitude was just so offputting let alone pompous... They train people better at MacDonald In fairness waitress was impeccable and pleasant ,and the other host, who did not take care of us at reception, (seemed italian ,) and was going around the dining room insuring patrons were taken care of, was certainly very pleasant First impression are key, doubt we ll ever go back again ...for the price all in all not really worth it."

"We were very impressed with the restaurant overall. It is a great location for lunch and shopping on fifth avenue. We each had wonderfully fresh and well prepared fish as a main course and we split a pasta special as an appetizer. It may just be a petty issue but the pasta was a special and was twice the price of any pasta on the menu so it was a 50 dollar pasta and the special was recited by the server without a price. We didn't really care because it was delicious but it would have been nice to have been told. Maybe specials should be listed on a menu sheet so prices can be seen. I think this is an age old problem ....it seems tacky to have the waiter recite the price but it is also tacky to take advantage of customers"

"The Armani name was not the reason I tried this restaurant although I knew it would be a stylish location. I will go back because the food was terrific and the service fabulous. (Thank you Jordan) The little extras from the chef really made this a wonderful experience."

"This restaurant has no peer when it comes to the view of not only Fifth Ave but the epicenter of fashion retail; 57th and Fifth. Our experience was extraordinary because of the St Patricks Day Parade and the unbelievably beautiful snowfall that accompanied it. We had the price fixe and wine pairings. Superb. Very attentive staff, mostly quite friendly."

"Everything was fantastic. My only comment is the chef needs to give a tiny bit more pasta in his dishes. I had the spaghettini with seafood my seafood to pasta ratio was off !! I'm a tiny person and I normally do not finish my food. It's only 2 bucks for a lb. of pasta. Lol."

"Nice spot, elevators are slow, the service was good a little slow I thought the menu could be more deconstructed, the ambiance is dark you feel like you are in a cave its fine if you like sexy euro style."
