"I have only been here twice - and both times were for lunch with clients. It's a bit on the pricy side but the quality is very good. The menu is diverse - I had the Poached Egg Salad and the Cream of Tomato soup. Both were delicious. The service was decent. The server was nice but not as attentive as the place filled up."

"The Mother's Day dinner the four of us enjoyed was worth the drive (over an hour). Our waiter was knowledgeable, pleasant and funny, but not intrusive. We all had an appetizer, the winner being the amazing salmon on a birch plank. One of the best salmon dishes I have had outside my (and Stefan's...) native Finland. All of the four main courses were delicious; the lamb, the duck breast, the whole branzino and the halibut. We enjoyed a dry pink champagne which the waiter had recommended: perfect choice for a warm night. Even though I generally do not enjoy desserts, the chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream that we shared, was just right: not too big, not too sweet. Loistava illallinen, Stefan!"

"This is such a great restaurant! I live in Orange County and it is so worth the drive. The restaurant has a great bar area and also the dining area has fire pits in the corners with couches. Great for hanging out with friends and a night cap or coffee. I have been a few times and have always had great service. The owner is very outgoing and takes time to come and talk to patrons."

"Absolutely delicious. Great spot for lunch, to meet friends or business associates. Salads are always excellent. Shared the scallops and white fish this time. Delicious. The heart of this place is the staff. Dawn is the constant, having been there thru many incarnations and chefs. love her. Mitch is the highlight of all the wait staff. Sweet, funny, efficient but not constantly on top of you. i always come back here as a midway point to meet for a business lunch between the beach and Beverly Hills. I highly recommend it."

"Nothing was - ah - just wrong. Everything was - ! - right. Our waiter, Justin, gave us the right amount of conversation and fun and was knowledgeable. The flight of martinis was delicious and ignited the right spot - relax and get ready for the set of chef selected dishes with sommelier selected wines - one tasting with each dish. Each dish was succulent. The lovely salmon melted in your mouth. Oh! and t was beautiful. Each dish was a bit of an artwork. I don't have time to review it all. But I cannot imagine coming here and having an incredible dinner"

"I was excited to try Stefan's restaurant as he amuses me so much on the show but I was underwhelmed. The decor was dull and traditional and the restaurant was empty, so it really had no atmosphere. I was expecting the ambiance to be something a little more cutting edge. The food was tasty but we did the 5 course tasting menu and the portion size was so small, I did not feel satisfied at the end of the meal. I'd like to go back and try it again as perhaps the tasting menu is just not the way to go unless you are doing more courses. Also I've read online that people like the patio, which I didn't realise was an option so will try that and see if it's got more soul. I really want to like this restaurant!"

"We dined here before a theater show across the street and they readily accomodated our tight schedule (only 45 minutes to eat) with the small plates menu. Their turkey burger sliders were awesome. The indoor patio with the fire pits is lovely and romantic. Worth it to check out this out of the way location for the ambiance and good food. I look forward to going back for a proper dinner."

"Not the best experience.Waiter wasn't very personable and wasn't aware of dinner time change. There was no bread ready. Fire pit fire went out and had to be changed in front of us. Food wasn't up to par with previous visits. Overall, disappointed."

"Crispy Fish, Risotto and Scallops all excellent! Open face burger a little hard to manage cutting/eating and big cuts of brie (while I love brie) was a bit much. GREAT environment! Fair rating on service - server was disengaged - seemed like she was just going through th emotions as she went table to table - a gritty scallop complaint barely got a response."

"Most excellent. Staff knowledgeable. Chef very personable - made our visit that much more enjoyable! Food terrific. Service - the best I have had in a long time (Kudos Dom!). Reasonable prices. Perfect for special occasion, event or just a dinner or drink. We had the 5 course chef tasting with wine pairing. Really enjoyed - will return!"

"We were excited to try out Stefan's restaurant after being a fan of Top Chef. The outdoor patio is beautiful, but our experience was quickly jaded by horrible service. Our server seemed annoyed to take our drink order and was very unfriendly. We asked for a couple more minutes to order our dinners and we didn't see him for the next 30 minutes. When we finally tracked him down, he said "I'll be right there" without an apology. We waited another 20 minutes until he finally came over. He did not offer a discount or an explanation for the LONG wait. We ordered the halibut (which was outstanding) but we will never be back or recommend this place based on the bad service."

"Was excited to see the changes that Top Chef celeb Stefan made to L.A. Farm. Nothing really stood out as big change. The service was slow, our Italian waiter thought his accent could makeup for his lack of service apparently. As the night wore on, the noise in the main room became deafening. When you can't hear your date across the two top, it's too loud. My date's pork chop looked amazing, but the frites were cold in no time at all. My Scallops were alright, but not excellent. Only 3 on the plate as well, so if you're hungry order something else. Desert, meh. Orange jello panna cotta. I've made better at home to be honest. Overall, average. Decent decor. If you want to see Stafan walk around the room all night, go for it."

"Restaurant was rather empty on a Tuesday night...not sure if that is a sign of things or not. Service was fast and professional. Fun and interesting cocktail concoctions...the Lavender was a hit with several. The small plates were exceptional across the board, including the Arancini, Corn Dogs and Meat Balls. However the entrees were lacking - good but not great. In a large party (10) the only entree that seemed to WOW folks was the Scallops. The Pork Cheek/Duck Confit Risotto was underwhelming and the Short Ribs were just ehhh. Expected better things from the Top Chef - who was obviously no where to be seen."

"My second trip to Stefan's, with my son. My first visit had been with a family group of 6. Each time the food was nothing short of stellar. Stefan, notwithstanding his celebrity chef status was there each time. On our first visit he amiably greeted us on the way in and then chatted with us enthusiastically (and posed for a picture) after dinner. This 2nd visit, though he was very busy preparing for a Top Chef finale viewing party, when he saw me give him a nod, he came straight over to our table to say hello. Food: great mix of simple guilty pleasures and high concept. I had rich, not heavy linguini cacio peppe, my son (a foodie) had the open face burger he said was the best burger he's ever had. Apple beignet dessert is 6-star."

"We had the 10 course tasting menu which was fantastic. We've had it before but we got it with wine the first time around (which was even more fun). Would have done it again this time with wine but I'm pregnant so that was not a possibility. Next time we come though, we're definitely getting the wine! They were very accommodating to my pregnancy diet needs so I really appreciated that in a chef tasting. The bartender even made me a special virgin martini which was fantastic. They were incredibly accommodating. Stephan comes to talk to you during the meal. It's overall a great time!"

"Ok this is my new favorite restaurant, but it has come to my attention that sandwiches are not Stefan's forte. Sorry Stefan I love you and ALL of your other food! I went with 2 friends and we all ordered different sandwiches off the lunch menu. None of us were satisfied with our own sandwiches so we split the 2nd half and gave to the others. We all hated all 3 sandwiches. BLT, Grilled Cheese & Chicken Salad. I was so sad and disappointed. We had a happy hour planned for next week and one of the girls said she wanted to change the location. I am still a fan though and am coming tomorrow for my anniversary! Just probably not ever for lunch!"
