"The layout of the Mona Lisa helped the restaurant feel much more intimate than I expected it to be. The second floor dining was pleasant for anyone who likes the sounds of the city while they eat. The servers were mostly knowledgeable about the menus aside from a few mistakes on the types of sauces and the number of items that came on each dish. The food was excellent; the duck was particularly good."

"Went there for our anniversary, really enjoyed it. The place had a great atmosphere good food, not great food. Total was 150 bucks after tip. Wanted to try the wine cellar, but after the dinner bill and $10 glasses of wine we decided not too. It was a nice place for special occasions but not more than that."

"My husband and I decided to come here for a romantic dinner, as it was our first night out since our daughter was born. We thought the building was beautiful and loved the ambience. The food was good, but I do feel like it was too expensive for what you got. The table was very small, and there was barely enough room for the fondue and our plates. I guess the price is mostly for the "experience", but I would rather go to a different restaurant and pay 1/3 the price and not have to cook my own food. It was a nice dinner that I think was worth it to experience once, but probably not something we would do again."

"We go to the Mona Lisa every year for our anniversary and this year was particularly great. We were seated at a table in a section called "love d's lane", it was so quiet and private. We also had Christine for a server and she was by far the most excellent and attentive server we have experienced at any restaurant. The Mona Lisa is our favorite special occasion spot and we recommend it to all of our friends and family!"

"As usual, the Mona Lisa made our anniversary special for the fourth time. We made the unfortunate mistake of trying the Melting Pot for one of our anniversaries, but they didn't hold a candle to the unique, romantic dining experience of the Mona Lisa. There isn't a bad choice to be made, so far be it for me to make any specific recommendations. I've heard people complain that fondue isn't filling - pish tosh! That said, we ordered the seafood main course for the first time this year, and I was surprised to see a single lobster tail for the two of us, especially for the premium price. I wonder if I'd get a half-tail were I dining alone? This is THE place to get fondue in Colorado."

"We have been to other fondue restaurants found them loud and missing the romantic ambiance. The separate rooms in Mona Lisa ensure quiet intimate dining. Our server was wonderful she was bubbly and fun. She explained the options we had and thru out the dinner explained what she was doing and serving. The food was delicious and filling.
If we had favorites our server would bring extra. You are totally spoiled when you go here. They even accomodated us when we came early for our reservation."

"Mona Lisa is excellent. You can have it your way, they are very accommodating. The service is absolute top of the line.
I did not like cooking my own meat, but I guess that is common at Fondue restaurants. The price is about 50-65 dollars a person, with drinks and tip extra for a full meal with fondue deserts. Fondue desserts are superb. Wine list is superb and comes with owner recommendations.
I did think it interesting that my date and I both ordered seafood and we split one lobster. I wondered if only one of us had ordered seafood would we have gotten half a lobster?
It's a great place. Nice intimate atmosphere."

"My first time there and I was expecting outstanding ambiance and food based upon reviews and the website but was disappointed with what I found. I made a reservation so expected a nicer table but was seated at a tiny table that could barely fit the food, fondue pot, and drinks. Sitting across a tiny table that was overloaded with everything did not foster a romantic atmosphere between me and my date. I know it's winter in Colorado but having a space heater next to the table was tacky-didn't heat anything either. The salad wasn't that great, the appetizer course was great, the main course wasn't that tasty, and the dessert was average. Nothing stood out in a positive way-I'd recommend this place to nobody for the price I paid."

"While we enjoyed or meal and had good service we found our meal to be less than anticipated. Our salads were mediocre, and our entree a little lacking in flavor. Our cooking grill was smoking by the time it was removed from our table. Our potatoes were well seasoned but completely cold by the time our cheese was melted. Our dessert course was wonderful as was our wine pairing choices during the meal. Overall a good experience but not sure we will return."

"My husband and I were celebrating our 8th anniversary and wanted to do something we havent tried before so I looked online at the mona lisa fondue. The web site was helpful and looked romantic so I booked us a reservation. We showed up and were seated right away. The atmosphere was romantic. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The food was sooooo good. I did the wine pairing with the food. Each wine was paired with each course of the meal. We were very satisfied with the meal and service. At the end of the meal the waitress brought us a candle to blow out for our anniversary. We thought it was a nice thought."

"This was our second time going to The Mona Lisa, and, just like the first time, it was a wonderful experience. We were celebrating a late Valentine's Day and I had requested a secluded table, so we were seated in "Lovers' Lane", a dimly lit, romantic alcove. We ordered the Four Course Fondue-for-two with the New World cheese, the Traditional entree, and the Flaming Turtle. We had the Old World Cheese last time and we found that we prefer that one, but the New World was still wonderful. When the entree came, our waiter, Roy, explained how long to cook each selection and what the flavors of dipping sauces were. He also suggested grilling the dill pickle spears, and we did just that. Dinner was amazing!"

"I can at least say that I enjoyed the company. This was Valentines Day dinner for my husband and I. The waitress brought him the wrong drink, which she realized once he gave her a surprised look. Then she brought me the wrong salad, which I just went ahead and ate. She forgot to bring our food, after lighting the flame for the fondue. Another couple came in after us, and had a different waitress who was very attentive. Their service was pretty good. The food was alright. We have been to the Melting Pot in the past, and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. We will go back to the Melting Pot the next time we want to celebrate a special occasion at a fondue restaurant."

"I'm sure many diners compare Mona Lisa to the Melting Pot, and I will do the same. The ambiance in the restaurant is fantastic--it's a wonderful setting in the perfect little town. The salad, cheese fondue, and dessert fondue were outstanding. My only regret was that main entree is served with an electric grill as opposed to in a fondue pot with a seasoned broth, a la the Melting Pot. Meats and fish seem to come out so much more flavorful in the broth, and just as importantly, if deep in conversation and your forget about the food, it won't overcook. The broth cooking method just seems superior."

"Such a fun experience at The Mona Lisa Fondue Resturant! It was very romantic with the lights turned down low and candle lights glowing everywhere. A perfect spot for a glass of wine and someone special. My husband thought for the price we paid we should not had to have grilled our own food but I thought that was all part of the experience!"
