"I have been to a Morton's in other cities, so I had an idea of the restaurant. Steak, steak, steak but that is all you get for your 40+ $$, then you add on a side here and a side there, with maybe a salad and the next thing you know you have a $250+ meal. The food was good, the portions were fair, I just don't see why they can't give you a meal for one price."

"This was an a great find. Place was extremely nice and the food was excellent. Quite possibly the very best place we have been to and the best steak ever. The porterhouse was excellent. The wife's plate wasn't too bad either. We went for the anniversary and they waitress was extremely nice and attentive. Also for the occasion they offered a chocolate suffle on the house as a dessert which was also excellent. I highly recommend this place. Enjoy."

"The seafood platter appetizer was dreadful and therefore ridiculously overpriced and overpromised. The entire platter (for two) - which consisted of two small, dried-out oysters, and a duo of dried out seafood chunks. While the waiter was attentive, he was pushy and impatient. The service was not the least bit charming. It felt very "assembly line". Though my filet mignon and sides were, as usual, well prepared and delicious, it was overall an unsatisfactory dining experience. We are in the area several times a year and have decided with this last meal at this location; we will book elsewhere. The neighborhood has too many charming, welcoming, delicious offerings to continue booking here."

"My husband and I have been going to Morton's for years and used to love it. Recently the ownership and menu changed and things are just not the same. On Saturday night it was loud and just disappointing there. We are not running back anytime soon."

"Staff seamed overwhelmed. Walked in, no one offered to take our coats. We finally handed our coats to the server and hostess at our table. Took a full two hours to get our dinners. Side dishes of Lyonaise potatoes were served with raw onion slices - very strange. My wife's crab legs - $58 - were first served without being scored and about a half a pound. Menu was for a pound. When we asked to have the next batch taken out of the shell the manager came over to argue with us and kept suggesting that they don't do that and we would need to order the lump meat crab appetizer if we wanted it out of the shell. My wife has arthritis and has trouble taking the crab out of the shell - this is the first time, anywhere that she has been refused."

"Just recently celebrated my birthday dinner and Morton's and admit to being a little disappointed in the food and quality of service. The ambiance was lovely and upon being seated, was looking forward to a memorable meal. The food was acceptable but not outstanding and I was disappointed with level of table service we received. Our waiter was friendly and brought each course within a timely fashion, however was mostly absent and inattentive the entire evening. Our glasses remained empty most of the evening and waiting for the final bill to arrive took what felt like an eternity.
In short, this restaurant has wonderful ambiance but should take steps to ensure the waitstaff are more proactive in meeting their customers needs."

"This was our first experience at Morton's The Steakhouse. It was a memorable evening. The whole experience was beyond merely pleasant. From the moment we walked in service was prompt, courteous, attentive and accomodating.
As for the food, it is truly one of the best steakhouses. We ordered different beef cuts. They were all superb: prime beef, exquisitely tender, flavourful, generous, and cooked to perfection (accordingly to our requests).
The sides were delicious and large enough to share.
We also shared a dessert and were delighted with it. That cheesecake with fresh berries was freshly-made and seriously d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s.
We loved Morton's and will go back again. Highly recommended."

"Morton's still remains a special place. Service was very good and the waiter accommodated special requests and made the occasion feel special. Steaks were good and the dessert was outstanding. However, we did miss the tray presentation of the steaks on offer, which in my opinion is what made Morton's distinct from other steakhouses. The new management should consider bringing it back. I've had the opportunity to visit other Morton's locations in Chicago, Atlanta, Philadelphia and Las Vegas and that unique presentation was part of the Morton experience."

"Good was great, server was HORRIBLE. We had to pour our own wine and after serving our food, our waiter was missing in action almost the whole night. If this is supposed to be a steakhouse of the highest calibre based on delivering great food and great service...they need to really take a look at how they service clients who are spending over $300. I would rather goto the Keg than come back to Morton's.
Actually Morton's you can learn a thing or two from the Keg in regards to service."

"It was my first experience at Morton's. My wife and I took my father out for his birthday and we had an amazing experience. The waitress was very knowledgeable and it seemed as if she really enjoyed her job. Being a general manager at a restaurant I am always aware of what goes on in a restaurant. "Had a bad experience last June when my wife took my family to celebrate my birthday. Her complaints fell on deaf ears.
Have not been back since. Last night decided to take a dear friend and her husband to dinner at Morton's and give you another chance.
No one in my party enjoyed the food, the ambiance the service. A ribeye steak arrived cold. the potatoes arrived cold. the service left much to be desired.
my business grows through providing service and referrals and if a client is not happy, it's important for me to know about it so I can take corrective action. you seemed to be unresponsive to my wife's complaints last June and our experience last night was no better than it was last June.

Have not been back since. Last night decided to take a dear friend and her husband to dinner at Morton's and give you another chance.

"Very comfortable, cozy environment! Service is excellent and Staff is very knowledgeable. Food was amazing, Bibb salad withblue cheese and pears was delicious and my filet mignon and shrimp were cooked to perfection! Carrot cake is also a must try.Cannot wait to come back."
