"After countless meals of typical fare in the Poconos (pizza, sandwiches, anything fried), it was a pleasant surprise to find the Blakeslee Inn. While the decor screams Catskills circa 1970, it is VERY well maintained. There's a nice variety on the menu, and the service is outstanding. Great for a nice dinner out, and they have a fabulous Sunday brunch. While the prices may be a bit high by Pocono-area standards, they aren't unreasonable by any means for everything that the Blakeslee Inn has to offer."

"This restaurant is a especially a gem in the Poconos but it would standout even in New York City and Philadelphia. The service and presentation are elegant. The food is fantastic. The menu changes often enough that there are always several new things to try. It is worth a trip to the Poconos just to try this restaurant."

"Promised myself I’d come back for the Pasta and was not disappointed. I ordered the fettuccini Alfredo, it was marvelous. I’ve never had one that was so good. I also tried Caeser salad, lightly dressed absolutely delicious. One of the best I’ve ever had! Both dishes are not to be missed. My better half had the Monk fish with squid ink pasta, different and delicious and another that should not be missed. By the way Chef Mullen makes all his own pasta in house. And as always the service was smart, sophisticated and attentive."

"Chocoholic dinners are always a treat. The menu shows great creativity, and is a gastronomic delight! Though entree portions are quite small........we do not leave hungry!"

"This is the second time I have been to the Blakeslee Inn. This was the Chocoholic Frolic. Their chef and pastry chef are amazing!! The menu was creative and each course blended the flavors perfectly! The entire staff are second to none. I highly recommend the Blakeslee Inn!"

"Interesting menu options, good selection for all courses. The food we had was very good, interesting and well prepared. We had the calamari special appetizer and for entree's the duck special and the Chilean Sea Bass. All were very good. The thing about this restaurant is that the food/service does not match the atmosphere. The service and food is very "fine dining" which is great, but the environment is more "homestyle." I felt like I was in a banquet hall that was dressed up, odd. The wheat back chairs and elegant table setting is nice, but it still feels like a country restaurant. All is all, good food and good service just odd surroundings."

"Everything at the Blakslee Inn Restaurant is fantastic from the wait staff to the presentation of the food to the food itself. The little extras such as the chef's gratis mini appetizer to the intermezzo will have us come back again if we are in the area. The stuffed fig appetizer was delicious as was the lamb (cooked perfectly as ordered) and the braised pork dish which fell off the bone with no need for the steak knife we were given. We highly recommend this."

"We love the Blakeslee Inn. It has it all, ambiance, excellent food, great service. We went for the Sunday Brunch and as always it was delicious. Besides the omelet station, they have a crepe station and a number of sides. They also have lobster, scallops, shrimp, an salmon. This Sunday they also had steak tartar. Lots of fruit and lots of yummy deserts. We have also gone for dinner and have always had a delicious meal."
