Hurley's Restaurant & Bar is in the town of Yountville located in the heart of Napa Valley. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere where great food, wine and service come together. Executive Chef/owner, Bob Hurley combines fresh ingredients with a little Mediterranean flair to create a local California cuisine high in flavor. Wrought iron fencing encloses a large, heated patio for casual dining. Or relax and enjoy a drink at the lively bar that is graced by warm mahogany and amber lighting. The inside Dining Room, highlighted by a stone fireplace, is a favorite among locals and winemakers.
The menu has been expanded to include late-night dining and can be enjoyed every evening (at the bar or on the heated patio) from 9pm to midnight.
Hurley's Restaurant has the perfect dining areas for groups of varying sizes. The management staff will be happy to assist you to arrange your next party.

"Went for lunch for the first time with four of my girlfriends before heading out to Mumms Winery. Very nice place. Service was outstanding. The only critic I have is the ladies room was very dark. Otherwise great place for lunch."

"We were looking forward to a great dining experience in Yountville and we found it at Hurleys. Even though most people are focused on the high-end restaurant down the street, this one has great food and the team is amazing. We were thrilled by the way they treated us and the exquisite presentation of the dishes. Great food at reasonable prices."

"This is our fourth time at Hurley's. The staff and decor are great and fit right in with the Napa Valley scene. In the winter we ate inside by the fireplace, or outside with electric heaters. They even gave my 80 year old aunt a shall, so we could enjoy the patio. The bread is delicious and plentiful. The food is always tasty and prepared well. The only issue I have is with the portions. Everything is just slightly less than average. Once I ordered fish with brussel sprouts, and I was served three brussel sprout halfs. ( a total of one and a half brussell sprouts) This past weekend my meal came with baby bok choy, cut in half. Come on, for $29 a plate be a little more generous with the least expensive item on your menu."

"NY Strip Steak was very tasty, almost had the feeling the steak was a smoked meat. Mashed potato fritters were out of this world as were the polenta croutons and salmon chowder. Would have preferred a crispier skin on the duck breast and broccoli rabe was a little tough for our taste. Service was great. Good suggestions and daily specials had a lot of complexity with their preparation, ingredients and sauces. Would definitely go back and refer to anyone."

"If you eat on the outdoor patio, you can bring your dog on a leash. It's a bit more formal and very pretty inside, with a fireplace. Right on the main street where all the restaurants are in Yountville. The seared tuna was fantastic. They have wine country specials, appetizer and main for $20, add dessert for $25. High quality. The berry dessert is to die for, rich soaked raspberry pudding with berries and white chocolate on top. Nice choice of wines, including their own brand made for them by a local winery."

"Hurley's is a very underrated restaurant. Because Yountville is home to such notable restaurants as the French Laundry, others get overlooked. The food is creative and features many dishes not found on other menus, such as barbecued buffalo ribs in tamarind/chipotle glaze, or braised wild boar. There is a lovely outdoor seating area."

"I've been at Hurley's several times and it is consistently wonderful, never dissapoints. The lunch items are creative and also classic, for example the appetizers included banana blossoms, a perfect asparagus salad with a twist, yummy crab cakes and more. The entrees were equally good, ranging from the expected standards of French toast and corn beef to juicy beef medallions. For dessert, my pick was the homemade ice dream sandwich."

"Vodka Martini was served without Vermouth. The special spinach salad was served without the grape tomatoes and polenta croutons as described by our waiter. One salad was served with a foreign body in it!. However, the Waiter did correct these problems immediately.
All of the main course dishes were excellent and well as the starters."

"The only reason I give this particular visit a fair rating for ambience, was the fact that the hotel and small vineyard across the street was spraying chemicals on their vines while patio diners were having dinner. This huge white fog was being released from a blower by a guy in basically a hazmat suit. Not cool. Overall, the restaurant was very good, despite this egregious situation."

"Server recommended the Ghost Block cab ($115) over the Chanticleer, which was very nice. Service was very good, but the sesame-encrusted Ahi tuna wasn't as good as many I've had. The decor was quite pleasant, with a nice varied menu."

"Fantastic food, the maple roasted chicken was the highlight, it was perfectly cooked and came with mashed potatoes with pearl onions and bacon were phenomenal. The kitchen split the chicken into a breast leg/thigh for me to split with my girlfriend to taste. Spinach mushroom ravioli was also good but it was tough to compete with the chicken. Our server was highly knowledgeable of the menu and gave us great advice to make the best choices. The outdoor patio was beautiful, with a great view of the surrounding mountains. The manager checked in twice to see how our food was. Overall an excellent experience."

"We ordered a 12 oz New York steak and potato gnocchi. Missing from the description of the gnocchi was that it included ewe (sheep) milk, which carries a strong taste and should have been indicated on the menu. The steak was fair, but at $38 not worth the price. The red wine tasted a bit like bourbon and was not what I expected from a restaurant in wine country. In my opinion, the menu was lacklustre, white table cloths gave barely the air of fine dining, and there are more worthy competitors in Yountville. Unless Hurley's changes its ways, I don't think it will be around much longer. My advice is to try another restaurant where you will get better food for your money."

We had a wonderful meal with impeccable service, a fabulous wine selection (it is in Napa valley), all at a reasonable price. "Hurley's was a very good choice for the four of us because it was not ostentacious and was more like a well appointed neighborhood restaurant. It was a very nice ambiance. The food was delicious - Texas Wild Boar; Buffalo Ribs were both excellent. Roasted beet salad was very refreshing. Overall the food was excellent and the pricing was good compared with other high end restaurants in the area."

"We were highly impressed on our first visit. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was absolutely excellent and friendly. "We celebrated St. Patrick's Day at Hurley's. I had Ma Athair an Bia, Gaelic Tiasc Stú
Hurley's father’s “Irish Fish Stew” from S.F.F.D. Hook & Ladder Co. #19. It was sea scallops, shrimp, mussels, clams & sea bass in a white wine, tomato & garlic broth. Excellent! My friend had Corned Beef Agus Cabaístz which was corned beef & cabbage, carrots, turnips, freshly dug potatoes, horseradish cream. Also excellent. We both remarked that the atmosphere is very relaxed but serve staff is very attentive. Great experience"

"Can't say enough about Hurley's! The ahi for the nicoise sandwich was cooked to perfection and tasty, as were the grilled peppers. The salad was a substantial amount of mixed greens and the fries were crisp until the end (which, actually, wasn't that long). The wait staff was attentive to the helpful level, but not overly intrusive. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our lunches and will return at every opportunity."

"DH and I were there for early Sunday dinner and the atmosphere was fairly quiet. We were greeted promptly - hostess was very personable and gave us our choice of tables in the room adjoining the patio. We shared the fried calamari/vegetable appetizer - very tasty. DH had the steak and thought it was flavorful, if a bit tough. I had the short rib and it was very tender and flavorful. The server was knowledgable about the wines by the glass (we were driving home and didn't want to get a bottle) and we enjoyed her recommendations. We thought the service was very good, although it sometimes took a while to re-fill our water glasses. As we were leaving we noticed couples seated at the bar enjoying dessert and watching TV (probably locals)."

"Very nice restaurant, good for our group of 5 in town for the Napa Valley Marathon. Food was excellent and everyone enjoyed what they had. Someone in our group is vegetarian and they did a 1/2 risotto and 1/2 pasta for her. I had the often-mentioned wild boar, was delicious and couldn't really tell that it was boar. Atmosphere was nice, we were at a round table and could hear other. Overall service was great, the wait staff did a great job. I would definitely come back here."
