"This restaurant is way too pricy for the quality of food that you get. We had reservations and it took over an hour for us to get our food and 20 minutes for the waitress to get us our drinks. It was really loud, unorganized and the food was mediocre at best. A couple who arrived 20 minutes after us, received their food before we did."

"On a beautiful Spring day, my wife wanted to walk to/from her desired Sunday MD brunch. Asiago's Downtown fit her criteria. What we didn't expect was the variety of food options at the special MD brunch buffet. My plate was full before I got to the multiple specialty courses even when cutting back to single mouthful items along the way. And single bite desserts were more than adequate, very tasty (yes, divine doughnut holes!) and perfect for the occasion. We were glad we walked over a mile to & from for exercise, but still cut back to a small dinner that evening because our main MD mid-morning dining special was as robust as it was satisfying."

"Everything was fine. Unfortunately, through no fault of the establishment it was difficult to find. The entry must be found through all the big machinery and road work being done with in the front. We will return once that is all over,now that we know where it is. The server was very nice and pleasant with knowledge of some of the beers my husband was asking about. The sound referred to above was from the road crew. It was clean and the menu provided a wide variety. We were pleased."

"Not my favorite. The noise was so loud that you couldn't carry on a conversation across the table. So many restaurants have high ceilings and exposed mechanics which provide an Urban Chic atmosphere. However there isn't a thing to absorb all of the noise.
I had their pizza which was underwhelming at best.
I wouldn't recommend it. There are too many other restaurants in Boise that are far better."

"Very busy. We had early reservations to avoid the crowd. Price you pay for good food. Staff was friendly and attentive. They worked well together. When our waitress was very busy other staff members checked on us and made sure we were taken care of. (Preposition, I know). Other resaurants should train their staff like this."

"Champagne mushroom appetizer was good. No bread served until appetizer (which really needed some type of bread) was down to the last two mushrooms. Could not locate waitperson until we were down to two mushrooms--only then was dinner order taken and bread brought out. Steak was good. Veggies that came with steak was inedible. Oregano was overwhelming and made the veggies bitter--there may be no such thing as too much garlic but there is such a thing as too much dry oregano. Lasagna special was awful. Pasta was doughy, too many chunks bland dry turkey meat inside the lasagna, flavorless "sauce"--the entire thing was just bland. Worst was the pico de gallo/ salsa on top of the steak and the lasagna. Did not enhance flavor--just weird."

"Our waiter was amazing, she really knew the menu and was extremely helpful with finding the dish we wanted. She also helped me remember which wine that I liked by bringing samples. We split a salad and an entrée, the cooks were kind enough to split them up onto two plates for us, making it easier than trying to do it while sitting down ourselves. The online reservation option is not only intelligent for the business, reducing stress for the staff and had an awesome option of times close to the time you wanted if your time is not available (ours was luckily for us!) Their rewards program as great offers saving you money with a point system and also birthday rewards, best part is you don't have to carry a card around in your wallet."

"We arrived on time and were promptly seated. The waitress was very friendly and attentive and there were only a few other people in the dining area. The salads were great and the bread as well. Our dinner took a little long to arrive. We waited about 20 minutes between salads and dinner. When it did arrive, it was very delicious. We saved room for dessert and I'm glad we did. We had the espresso flour less torte. Don't order it unless you like...really like chocolate. Very rich, but delicious. Overall we had a very nice time. A great dinner before a concert at the Morrison center."

"We had a 40 min. wait to be seated with a 8pm resevation needing to set 6 people. The table you wanted to give us set and talked after dinner for and extra 30 min. A 10 min. wait with a reservation is OK but over thirty was not. By offering the other party a free coffee at the bar this could of ben handeled with a faster turn over and made both parties just as happy. Having had a restaraunt at one time i learned ceativity is needed at time like this."

"Our server was courteous, just a little inattentive. We had to ask for several things, including our check at the end. The mixed green salad was large and fresh, but the dressing I chose (sun dried tomato vinaigrette) was more like a pink mayo/aioli or a stiff Thousand Island spread. Just not what I expected. I ordered the gnocchi(zucca)and wasn't prepared for how sweet the berry reduction was. The gnocchi were good and had been pan fried and then rolled in a (very) light coating of arugula/pecan pesto. Those were in a bed of deep purple reduction sauce that would have been perfect with crepes for brunch. My fiancé had the steak burger, which he ordered medium rare. He said the flavor was good, but it was cooked through and dry - no pink."

"The food was excellent! The service was not great, but that was partially due to the fact that a Groupon was expiring that day and the restaurant had many more customers than they expected for a Tuesday night. I suspect that the service will be much better the next time I go. They were simply understaffed. I would definitely recommend Asiago's! Great food and ambiance!"

"We arrived about 15 minutes late for our reservation -- street parking required a bit of a walk. However, we were seated within 10 minutes on a very busy night before Valentine's Day. The food was excellent -- better than on previous visits. The wine list was very good although I would have liked to have seen an Italian Primitivo and at least one Spanish white on the card. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the various wines. The restaurant was full and vibrant: good signs for a mid-week evening. I was told we could always call ahead and request the "cask room" for a somewhat quieter table.
As on previous visits to Asaiago, the meal and ambiance were both very pleasant. We shall definitely be back."

"We dined at Asiago's on Valentines Day which was a big mistake. They had crammed so many extra 2 tops in that I felt like a canned sardine. It was very noisy. Our waitress did a good job despite the cramped quarters. Good thing she was very thin. Conversations from bordering tables were easily heard. Overall, it was a chaotic environment and definitely not what I had planned for Valentines. I will not dine there again during a holiday."

"Overall food and service was excellent. However the tables were crammed tightly together and there was no space for the wait staff to navigate through the tables. As a result my chair was kicked every time someone walked through. I could have leaned over and tasted the food of the couple next to us we were so close. I will go back and try again as it was Valentine's day. I am hoping there aren't so many tables crammed in there. I will not be going back if there is....which is a shame. I heard many of the patrons saying the same things. Great place other than that!! Good food...excellent wine list."
