"We always come for the Monday prime rib deal and oysters and sit on the patio. Service is very friendly, but can be a little slow at times depending on how many people are there for happy hour drinks. I definitely tell others to come on Monday before 6p for a great deal on dinner and drinks in Walnut Creek."

"Small event in the neighborhood got out early, assumed it would be later so had a big lunch. Arrived at 1515 quite early for our reservation, no problem. Had a LOVELY crab chowder and some appetizers as a small plate dinner. Calamari was delicate and well prepared, bruschetta was VERY pretty, only regret that we were full and had to leave a piece behind.. Lovely time with very prompt service and very pretty presentations. On our list for a next Walnut Creek visit!"

"Our server (whose name I can't recall unfortunately - we were at an outside table by the folding window-door near indoor seating area on Fri, 4/26, 5:30pm res.) was GREAT! You only had big plates that night and we ordered a bunch of happy hour dishes for our dinner, plus lots of drinks. She was so accommodating and never made us feel less than b/c we were ordering off the HH menu. She even put a table next to ours to give us more surface area till the other guests arrived. (Even though I made a res and specified outdoor seating, our table was crammed and tiny and barely outdoor -- that was not a good feeling.) Food was fair; tacos need work (steak very low-quality cut) but scallops were nice. Server made the experience for sure."

"The tomato-basil soup was so salty that is was not palatable. I took 2-3 small spoonsful and gave up on it. The tomatoes in the caprese salad were tasteless and not in the least bit ripe. I asked before ordering the salad if the tomatoes were fresh and ripe; I was told "absolutely!" The crabcakes were very good."

"This was our second visit to 1515 and it certainly won't be the last. My thanks to the staff for making our wedding anniversary dinner a special one. "Lunch with a friend after church and before some shopping on a beautiful Sunday afternoon... everything was great. It was hard to decide what to order! I would HIGHLY recommend the Tuna Tar Tar -- it was AMAZING! I'll be back again just for that. :-) My friend had the tomato basil soup and said it was one of the best she's had. We didn't have one dish that wasn't excellent. We'll be back!"

"We had tickets for a 2pm matinee at the Lesher Center for Arts so we had lunch at 1515 Main before the play. It was a 5 minute walk from the Lesher parking structure to the restaurant. Our group of four sat outside. The busboy put up an umbrella to block the sun, it was very nice outside. My father and I ordered the Chicken Portabella sandwich, one with Sweet Potato fries, one with onion rings, we both found it delicious. My Husband and mother ordered salads, both were pleased as well. The only snag in the trip was that the Iced Tea machine was down so it took a while to get drinks. Also, the waitress forgot to tell us about the $5 Mimosas and Bloody Mary's available on Sundays. We had finished our meal and just happened to overhear a wait"

"The food was absolutely fantastic! I had the Mixed Seafood and my friend had the Mahi special. Both were delicious! I had stayed away from this place after getting bad service over 2 years ago, but the staff both in the bar and restaurant were polite and efficient.
When I checked in on Facebook, it listed 1515 as a "Family Style Restaurant". It might be family style for lunch, or on a weeknight, but it's more of a social scene on the weekends, since half the space is a bar. The bar scene was casual and laid back.
I will be adding 1515 back into my rotation of places to eat!"

"I reserved online for a birthday dinner and made that announcement with my online reservation. We had a great waiter and he saw the presents on the table and when he brought us our check he then asked, 'oh, is is your birthday?'. He came back with a coupon for a free desert at 1515 for another time. I thought it would have been nice if they would have recognized and served my friend a desert for the special occasion."

"Our dinners were excellent and the table service was very good.
Management's lack of customer focus was disappointing. Although a bit chilly we were seated in a pleasant outdoor area. We were told that the manager was doing 'inventory' but would light the gas heaters in just a few minutes.People at three nearby tables were told the same thing and we all waited patiently for an hour for the manager to appear (never appeared).
Despite the good food and otherwise good service, we are unlikely to return"

"My wife and I had heard good things about 1515. Other family members had gone there with good experiences. The service was awesome as Jennifer took good care of us and the other staff were friendly as well. The main dish my wife ordered was very delicious as well. However, we ordered two appetizers that were both disappointing. We ordered the artichoke appetizer that was so hard, we could not cut it with a knife. We also ordered calamari. The sauce was not to my liking as it was I suppose some type of wasabi sauce and not the typical marinara or cream sauce that other restaurants serve. I can forgive that because they want to distinghuish themselves. However, the calamari was rubbery and chewy. There is no excuse for that."

"My friend and I shared some appetizers and drinks. The restaurant was not busy at 4:30pm. The service was great. No waiting for food, drinks, or the bill. The crab cakes were excellent. Nice and moist and flavorful. We also had the chicken soft tacos. I loved the hot sauce. Spicy but perfect for my taste. I would definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to my friends and family."

"We enjoyed our experience at 1515. The food was great. Drinks are expensive though and they don't give you much wine in your glass for the price. We will stick with water next time!"

"Two 70-something ladies went on a Tues at 1pm and had most of the restaurant to ourselves. My son and five other dear young-40 somethings go there occasionally for late night get togethers. It compliments both age groups -- probably at different hours. Our lunch crab was lovely and our waiter (female, Rachel) was perfection."

"We met friends on a Monday night and had a GREAT time. The restaurant was fairly quiet and made it easy to talk to them in the bar area. The food was so good that it allowed our new friends to experience oysters for the first time. They were really good! The prime rib for both of the guys was cooked exactly as ordered and they greatly enjoyed it. We have been here several times and will continue to come back!"

"It was quite loud and 1515. While the food was pretty good, except for the soup coming out cold, we were seated for over an hour before we received any of the food that we ordered. This was unacceptable and we do not plan on going back to 1515."
