Grand Cru is a casual yet sophisticated wine bar bistro offering a Manhattan appeal and a relaxed atmosphere that boasts an impressive fine wine selection from around the world, top-shelf full bar and an exciting and eclectic menu.
"It was a bit disappointing to be honest. The place has a lot of potential with nice decor and a cool vibe. Unfortunately, the food is "uninspired" with the only memorable dish being the mac&cheese tapas - and it wasn't memorable in a good way. It literally had no flavor - like wet noodles and nothing else. How do you send something like that out of the kitchen? Maybe taste it first before you inflict it upon the patrons? Kobe Beef Sliders were fine, nothing sensational. The beef taco's were probably the best thing we tried. We visited at 7:30 on a Saturday evening and the place was dead. Very sad as it has potential - Nice decor, good location, decent idea (tapas) for the neighborhood."

"The food at Grand Cru was good; portions were a bit small and a little overpriced. If you are thinking of going for Happy Hour, please note if there is a show next door at the Bergen PAC, they do not offer their Happy Hour menu. The waitstaff was very attentive and friendly."
