Jacqueline Suzanne's Bistro
Located in Historic Inglewood, Jacqueline Suzanne's Bistro is vintage early 1900s. Adorned with antiques and linens, experience two levels of old world charm and be reminded of days gone by with the original hardwood floor and pressed tin ceiling.
Reservations are encouraged for our Sunday Night Prime Rib Dinner Special from 5pm. Enjoy a starter Soup or Ceasar or House Salad, followed by a generous cut of Alberta Prime Rib with Roast Potato and Mixed Vegetable for only $35.00/person.
Our weekend ala carte Brunch menu is available from 10am-2pm. Choose from 8 different Eggs Benedict, Chef's Omelet, Cinnamon Raisin French Toast or our Bistro Breakfast.

"Food was great , slow and under staffed . Decore needs a make over in a bad way . I was wearing a long sleeve t shirt and jeans , seemed the better dressed people were geting service . I tip very well but not that eve . A free tip for servers , don't judge a book by its cover ."

"The night I went the restaurant appeared to be understaffed, and my waitress seemed to be newer at the job. All that to say that the service was surprisingly slow. But because I went with a relaxing time in mind, I didn't mind the slow service as much as I might have otherwise. I prefer quiet restaurants, and though the place got busy while I was there, the noise level seemed to be contained. The food was quite good, and I had a pleasant time with my book."

"The food was excellent. Ordered the beef tenderloin medium rare and that is exactly what I got. The peppercorn sauce is to die for. My wife ordered the onion soup and really enjoyed it. Overall, the experience was adequate and enjoyable. Will definitely go back."

"Recently went for lunch/brunch on the weekend as we had a gift certificate. It's certainly a charming, eccentric little place with a nice atmosphere and a funky, relaxed vibe. Service was friendly, but just a little too relaxed for my liking (I also have a pet peeve about servers who say "we" as in "have we decided?" "are we enjoying the food?"). I had a low-carb (no muffin) eggs benedict which had tomato slices underneath instead of the english muffin. The egg was nicely done, but the bacon and back bacon were cut too thickly, making them difficult to manage, and the tomato was unripe and untasty. My husband had the lamb shank, which he said was just okay, the sauce he felt tasted too much of wine and overpowered things."

"Picked this one purely by luck. Ambience was great. This restaurant fits perfectly in Inglewood: cozy, busy, quaint and relaxed. Our server was engaging and helpful and entertaining. Menu selection was varied, interesting, and reasonably priced. They were out of portobello mushroom caps so we went with the crab cakes and were very happy with our choice. Nicely portioned appetizer, and delicious, on the spicy side. Entrees also perfectly done. I had the stuffed chicken and my wife had steak Neptune. Both were exceptional, including the sides. As for wines, I don't mull over wine lists so we went with our server's recommendations and he nailed it, in spite of me wanting a red with my chicken. We had a perfect night and highly recommend."

"We sat upstairs which was such a great experience from the window view to the great old metal ceilings to the 50 music of Doris Day. Our server was delightful, so friendly and happy. She was attentive and all food was timed perfectly. We shared the french toast and bacon crepe. I would have both again. I did find the potatoes a bit too salty, but I am not a salt person. WE sat beside the window but if we hadn't I would have been way too warm. Better ventilation is needed. With saying that, you need to experience this lovely ambiance in a unique shopping area of Inglewood."

"Our brunch was amazing - the food was tasty and offered unique combinations with crepes, soups, and egg dishes. The waitresses were all smiling and happy to assist us, and our server inquired about our honest opinion on food to relay to the kitchen. They obviously tweak their menu and regularly switch the offerings up. I will definitely be going back again."

"A small but lively bistro. Excellent menu at a fair price. Great service and staff. Parking a bit of a hassle and hard to walk back to the car after the huge serving sizes. The prime rib and the chicken specials are truly wonderful. Like all restaurants the wines are good, but pricey."

"Overall the dining experience was very good. One exception was one meal, the Prime Rib, was not hot and the vegetables were the same. The zucchini was mushy and it seemed the plate had been prepared but put aside to wait for the rest. I did not tell the waitress as everyone had their plate and it would have disrupted the meal. This was very disappointing as I had been looking forward to this night. I think an experienced chef would not have allowed this. It was not busy either. I would go back but if the same thing happened that would be the last time. Everyone else was happy with their dinner. I had been there for lunch which was what brought us there for dinner. Will try one more time."

"I love this restaurant! I had the seafood linguine and caesar salad. The seafood linguine is the best in the city and worth every penny. The only down side is that my office mates do not want to go there again as our bill was so high. With no alcohol, only one pepsi and one coffee, our bill was $98. I think the prices for lunch are too high - although I love the amount of seafood in the linguine perhaps make a 1/2 portion for lunch so it is half the price. I did have a small starter salad, one friend had garlic toast, both had ravioli, so there was no deserts, drinks or expensive starters so the price for 3 people for lunch was too high unfortunately. Everything else is top notch!"

"We were greeted the moment we walked in to Jacqueline Suzanne's Bisto by the most delightful greeter and told we could pick any table we wanted. The food was fantastic and the presentation was phenominal. I would recommend this Inglewood gem to everyone. The prices on the menu are very good and certainly not outrageous."

"Jacqueline Suzanne's has a nice warm "homey" feel, that makes you the feel like you're dining at Grandma's house. The food and service were excellent; and the menu has enough variety it's difficult to choose. It`s a place suitable for almost any occasion, whether it`s just a quiet lunch, or a special evening out; Jacqueline and Suzanne`s is worth checking out. I would certainly recommend it to friends and family."

"I am sorry, but you are not getting a good review today. I have eaten here before and the food has always been very good, however, I would never eat Eggs Benedict here again, EVER!!! I ordered the Tomato and Bacon Benny's. The English muffins were soggy! There was something that resembled tomato mush on it, one slice of bacon on each benny and the sauce had absolutely no flavor at all! Oh and I ordered my egg yolks to be hard and they came runny. I should have sent it back, but I did not. One suggestion I would like to make is more lighting. It is very hard to read your menus with the minimal wattage of lighting you have. We were at a table beside the bar and all of us had trouble reading the menus due to the poor lighting."

"I have been to Jacqueline Suzanne's a number of times, but not in some time. The server was attentive, funny, and knew exactly how often to come by. The food was very good, as usual, and when I asked about an updated version of one of the menu items, the server offered to have the "old" version made for me. Incredible! I will make a point of going back here more often- the brunch menu looks so good, too! Highly reccomend this restaurant for anyone looking for something less mainstream, totally unpretentious, but with exceptional food and service."

"It was our first time dining here and we 3 foodies fell in love. The Chef's three course menu that evening was outstanding according to my companions. I was in true food heaven over my choice of a rack of lamb!The ambiance and the decor along with the service were equally great and nicely added to the experience.
The only negative of the evening was the questioning of whether my gift certificate was authentic or not. I won it by bidding in a charity auction in January at my workplace. It was signed by the Chef and Owner as well. I am sorry to say, that I felt like I my integrity was being questions and left feeling let down. Was there a lack of staff communication or training is the culprit perhaps?"

"A great restaurant for a lovely dinner in Inglewood. Been here at least 10 times and every time the service and food is amazing. I just wish the prices were about 20% less then I would be here weekly. None the less every time I go I am very glad to have went. The staff are amazing - accommodating - full of personality and remember you. I hadn't been in for 6 months and two of the servers recalled seeing us and welcomed us back. Come check it out you will not be disappointed."

"We had a wonderful experience. My husband and I celebrated both our birthdays. They gave us the "honeymoon suite". A table tucked into a corner by itself. The atmosphere was very romantic. The food was delicious and our server couldn't have been more attentive without being intrusive. By the time we got to dessert there was only one other table of people left in our area and when they realized it was our birthdays they sang to us and then offered to buy us each a drink. It was fun. We have eaten at Jacqueline Suzanne's many times before and love it there!"

"The food was really average (I cook better meals at home). The service was very slow and the waitress informed me that ALL créme brûlées have liquor/liqueur in them, which is certainly not the case.
