"We eat at alot of top end restaurants around Atlanta and had heard about Silk seveal times but had never been. We found Silk to be well below par compared to all others in the area. The parking is not very accessable, they claim to have Valet but didn't on Monday nights when we inquired once we arrived. We ordered the Sea Bass which was ok but the Red Snapper was over cooked and a little tough. The bath rooms were below average and not the cleanest. There are just to many good seafood restuarants around Atlanta to settle for "ok" for dinner. I don't think that we will be back."

"This was our first visit to Silk. We really enjoyed our food and there were so many other items we would like to try. We were disappointed with our waitress, she was not very efficient and we didn't quite get her attitude. Our question was is she not very bright or didn't she care??? We will go back again for the food, but will make sure we have a different server!"

"This was one of the worst dining experiences I have EVER HAD!! For some reason the "machines were down" and so we waited over an hour for our food. During that time the waiter only came by twice to check on us and did not offer any refreshments or other comps. Some folks who came in after us go there food before us and the staff just seemed very unapologetic. In addition after the bill came, it took them like 20minutes to add up the check which was just ridiculous. I will never go to or suggest this restaurant to any one who appreciates decent service"

"I first dined at Silk for the first time during Restaurant Week last year and had the best time so I decided to return for Valentines. My date had the sirloin and I had the snapper with crab which I thought was just okay. Our server Elizabeth was great and overall it was a nice experience."

"Silk was exceptional. We were going to a show at the Fox and were running late because of traffic. These folks were above accomodating. We placed our appetizer order over the phone before we got there and they sat us immediately when we arrived. Food came quickly, but you could tell everything was fresh. The food was delicious, the service was amazing. I really couldn't have asked for more."

"This is one of Atlanta's great restaurants. Truly a must! One good point about this restaurant in midtown is that they have a great valet system that allows you to drop your car off right near the front door. The valet watched for me and at the end of the evening had my car waiting! Excellent service all around coupled with wonderful food."

"The night we went there was bad weather and I think it kept most diners at home. The energy was less than I had hoped for. One of the entrees was "fishy" so I am not sure how fresh it was. The appetizers were ok - nothing to write home about. We had a large booth and were able to spread out. The decor was beautiful and the service was above average."

""Silk" is a great name for this restaurant because it is smooth and exquisite. The atmosphere is inviting, the service impeccable and the food off the charts good. We had the tempura sampler as and appetizer and the firecracker roll sushi. Both we served in a pleasing presentation and the taste was outstanding. We didn't think that could be topped until the main courses, snapper and sea bass, were served. We both tasted each other's entrees and tried to steal them from each other. They were delicious, cooked to perfection and served at the right temperatue. We topped off our meal with the mango sorbet (which included fresh mango pieces). We were more than pleased. This place is as smooth as "Silk".

"The food was great and the waitress was nice, however, we had to wait nearly 30 minutes for our appetizer and 45 minutes for our meal. Totally unacceptable. We were told that the service was slow because of it being the Valentines Day weekend. We were in the restaurant for nearly 3 hours due to the wait for food and drinks."

"We had such a wonderful dinner! First time going and the Valentine’s Day special was delicious we ate it all. (No boxes to go)!!! We loved it so much we’re going to visit again for our date night. "went there for dinner on Valentines Day. Out of the 3 entrees one was outstanding and the other 2 were just "eh". The sea bass is highly recommended and was cooked perfect, the seafood hot pot and the sushi were just ok. Definitely a beautiful setting and our waiter was the best!"

"Had a great dinner. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and well-prepared. Apparently the Manager was back in the kitchen personally cooking and overlooking food the night we dined. Mood and lighting was perfect and the music wasn't too loud.

On top of all of this the food was pretty reasonable priced. Dinner for two was $60 with appetizer."

"This was our second time at Silk and we did enjoy the experience and we will go back. However, the time lapse between our appetizer/soup and our entrees was about 45 minutes. Our waiter said it was due to the kitchen being backed up, however, we noticed that other tables that came in after us received their food before we did. That was very irritating. I ordered the filet trio, and two out of the three medallions came out medium rare instead of medium. I had the waiter have them prepared again for me and they did a good job of getting it right the second time."

"The food was very good and tasty, drinks were good as well. I think it was a bit overpriced though and I would have loved more space in between tables to make it a little bit more private. On the webpage, says parking validation included and even though I got one, it didnt cover the whole amount so a note on that. Overall, it was a nice valentine's experience."

"From the moment we walked in the door the service was really bad. The hostess was very rude, and the waitress was never at the table and maybe checked on us twice for the whole hour, and a half we were there. The food was not that great it barely had any taste at all. the ambiance was really nice, but thats really the only good thig we have to say about Silk. Very pricey for the amount of food that is given."

"To Whom it may concern,

My name is Giovanni Sonera. It was our first time dining at Silk in Atlanta. I have to say that I was EXTREMELY impressed with the restaurant. From the moment we walked in we were impressed. The hostess greated us with a smile and she was very charming. The immediate appearance was very pleasing. We sat at the bar for a cocktail and the bartender Kevin(?) treated us with respect and prompt service. He let the hostess know when we were ready for our table which was very appreciated. Our server, Travis, was outstanding. Very knowledgable and concerned with our visit to Silk. The food was immaculate; very savoring. Desert was also heaven. Overall experience: SUPERB!!! Definitely will be coming back for seconds."

"The restaurant was amazing. Our waiter was amazing, nice and even brought my girlfriend a birthday cake. He took a picture with us, answered all of our questions and was a nice guy in general. I don't think there was anything they could have done to ameliorate anything because, there were no problems. We will definitely be back when we're in the Atlanta area again."
