"Thursday night live music was advertised and appeals made to make reservations. This we did for 6:30 last Thursday evening. How depressing to find that the live music was in the bar and the reservations had to be for the dining room. No mention was made of that fact! The dining room was half empty and the bar tables were full, of course. We just recently moved to Golden and had never dined there on a Thursday night. And we never will in the future!!"

"Met up with family and friends who where in town on special occasion. Their event was in Golden so it made sense to find something close by. The Bridgewater totally delivered more than we were expecting. The service was prompt and friendly, the beer and wine selection was comprehensive, and the food was incredible. I'm not a dessert guy, but we did end up ordering some cherry cobbler and it was glorious! I'll definitely be returning to Bridgewater with my friends."

"I have eaten at the Bridgewater Grill before which is why I made reservations there for lunch. I was genuinely disappointed in this visit. Service was slow and I felt the prices were quite high for what we got. I will think twice before visiting this restaurant again."

"Loved how quiet it was :) I don't know if my hubby & I got lucky, but no kids in there = no noise! Very nice! Food was very delicious. Above what we expected."

"Food not consistent. Ate dinner on Monday the same week - had a wonderful experience. This Friday's meal fell short. Husband ordered "award winning chili" - while it tasted good, it came out lukewarm. My vinaigrette was very tart - too much vinegar. The pork chop tasted good, but was tough. My salmon came with a wonderful wild rice pilaf, but fish was overcooked. We both wanted the apple pie, but it was unavailable. We ordered the bread pudding. The dish it came in was hot, but the pudding was almost cold. No flavor, just sweet. Service was okay - didn't really connect with our server."

Review 11 for Bridgewater Grill @ The Golden Hotel
"The food was the best part, while the service was slow & incomplete. Our wait staff was slower than we would have liked, and didn't bother to ask if we wanted "to-go" boxes... our leftovers were just swept away. It was both a good & bad experience, but not one I need to repeat. Once was enough, considering the price tag."

"The tenderloin was outstanding. The strip steak had a lot of grizzle that was hard to cut out. May have just been that particular cut. The rest of the meal was great and service terrific."

Review 14 for Bridgewater Grill @ The Golden Hotel
"The food was fine but nothing special. The service was barely fair. None of the people who brought things to our table have been trained in how to service. They were all handing thing across the table, which was not necessary as there was room all around. My steak had to be sent back because it was not well done. The asparagus were cold. The ice cream scoop on the desserts was too small to fit the desserts - pie and brownies. The lobster mack and cheese is very skimpy on lobster. We will probably go back but only for burgers or sandwiches."

Review 15 for Bridgewater Grill @ The Golden Hotel
"Although the evening of our visit wasn't condusive to outdoor dining, it appears to be a great place to dine outdoors in nice weather -- great patio area overlooking the river. We went for 5280 Restaurant Week, but most entrees were offered as part of 5280. The food was very good, though I was a little disappointed with the Bread Pudding dessert (I'm pretty picky about bread pudding though - other folks may love it. It was just a bit too sweet and not enough cinnamon for my taste). The service was great! The table next to ours was a bit loud, but the rest of the restaurant seemed to have a bit quieter atmosphere. Overall we liked Bridgewater Grill and would probably go back during the summer."

Review 16 for Bridgewater Grill @ The Golden Hotel
"The food was good but atmosphere does not match plate presentation or menu price or attire required of guess jeans and t shirt the norm, brought appetizer to table after salads. The fried green tomatoes were good the NY Strip and Tenderloin were cook as requested, tender as well. I would not recommend."

"Love this place. We often eat out on the patio during the summer. This is a restaurant we bring our out=of-town guests because we know that we will get great food and great service."

Review 19 for Bridgewater Grill @ The Golden Hotel
"This was quite disappointing. We were seated by the hostess and told our waitress would be right with us. After nearly 10 minutes with no waitress a manager comes over and takes a drink and appetizer order. A few minutes later our waitress arrives with our drinks and takes our dinner order. The waitress brings us our salads...huh? Where is our appetizer? "That's gonna be a bit longer why not eat your salad 1st" Um...ok. The salad is warm, wilted and turning brown. It is served on a long, thin, flat plate that spills your salad all over the table every time you try to take a bite. Waitress brings bread, it's terrible. Dinner: Tenderloin was overcooked, port wined reduction tasted like jam. The chicken breast was unimpressive."
